- Horween's Dublin is a vegetable tanned, full grain leather that has a hard wax finish and a natural appearance. I'll show you some wallets and belts made in this leather that we are shipping out today.
Wowzer ! Another great video chock full of most awesome info , you can see and feel your passion for the products that you offer . While this was a long video it was one of the most interesting I’ve viewed in quite some time . Keep up the great work ! Looking forward to meeting you in May when the AE PATP visits Horween .
Thanks for the education Matt.
Does cypress have a superior break to Dublin?
Great session; thank you. I just bought a pair of Parhurst in Natural Dublin, and I am excited about those and trying to learn about this leather.
If needed, how would you go about treating Nat Dub? Maybe condition and take of it.
Cheers mate!
Dublin is very resilient. I typically suggest just wearing it and loving it. If the leather starts to look a certain way that you don't like just send me a photo and I can advise you. Phil@ashlandleather.com
The Capone fox is certainly not for me. It’s trying to do too much with a card layout that aesthetically looks unpleasant to me. I have a far herbie, a pass port holder and frank the enforcer so I’m a firm admirer of your rugged designs. However, this CF wallet may benefit from leather splitting but I know this goes against your manufacturing philosophy. This wallet would also look more pleasant if you used a leather liner rather than the flesh side of the leather. It just looks like a mass of leather that would becomes the very wallet you guys always talk about not becoming: the cliche fat oblong shape that sticks out.
