the reason I got into detailing is because I feel in love with meguiars' ultimate liquid wax when I was a teenager... I can still smell it...good days

Eddie, I love that you chose to demo the wax. I haven’t gotten my Dec box yet, but I’m super excited about it. All my cars are ceramic coated, and at first I thought I’d pass on the wax when I get my box in. But, watching your video makes me want to try it. I assume there is no point in applying a wax to a ceramic coated car or am I mistaken?
I used it on top of my ceramic coating since it’s nano tech , it’s like a sealant but relaxing easy to use

For an old school wax I’d recommend Natty’s Blue or P21S 100%.

@@Ecdetails Amazon has both. Natty's is Poorboy's World and P21S is German so I'm not sure who distributes them officially. Careful with matte plastic trim on the P21S 100% I hear, not that it's permanent but may leave a residue. They are both old school waxes without polymer sealants etc. so are not amazingly durable but are nice looking. The P21S is better looking but it is 2x the price at least. The regular P21S (not 100%) is also pretty good honestly, but more durability focused.

Wax is chill to apply now imma look into some others and see what the diff is
I have used AMMO top coat and Ceramic Gloss for example just spritz the towel to remove it and man does it make a difference. A lot of different combos to play with.

Eddie, great video using the wax but I have a question. You mentioned you should apply wax in circles. Why apply in circles? What is the benefit of circles compared to straight lines?
Great question not sure it matters really, but the why I do it , is for even coverage consistent application of the wax On the car. Less hand pressure soft circles etc
I don’t even apply coatings in straight lines just a me thing

I personally apply all waxes and coatings in straight lines but not sure if it’s the best method. I don’t even cross hatch with coatings, just straight lines . It’s one of the best Waterless Wash/ Detail Spray on the market

I had about the same reaction to the mystic wax. First im like, ill pass. Then the memories sank in, and i tested it out the next day.

@@Ecdetails reminds me of a brand i used back in the day, Surf City Garage. About 10 or 12 years ago, was my first step out of green bottle turtle wax and armorall, and into stuff like griot’s. They had a 2 pack kit that was a Nano Wax and a glaze. It’s slick and glowing like i remember those did. Havent seen that brand in a while though. Buts its that thinner, watery synthetic sealant just the same. But its slicker than the panel i put adams graphene spray coating on.

Yea a few months ago i was considering trying some kind of premium car wax to see how it all compares. Was surprised at some of the costs. The red can was an energy drink right? It tasted really weird and i hope i didnt drink a can of tar remover or something.
