Thank you for being honest about this! Pamela is definitely promoting obsessing over eating "clean" and "healthy", which can lead to an eating disorder called orthorexia. Did you know that she even calls white sugar "the devil" in her app? Fitness influencers are wild, man!
I LOVE how honest u are !!! Most people praise everything fitness influencers do or publish but NO, only because they promote a healthier lifestyle doesn’t mean it’s all correct and actually healthy..
thank u for reminding us of normal eating :( i'm currently recovering from an eating disorder and seeing u talk about it helps a lot! eating enough is so important!! i hope ur okay
I love how Naomi instantly called you out for "coming for" Pamela! I miss having that bestie! (Sadly my childhood bestie passed away 8 years ago) After watching this video Vinsainto I totally agree with being triggered about the amount of food these "fitness" influencers are eating. This is a very eye opening video really to how to not eat healthy in the right way. You have to calculate in your own body mass and eat more (or less) than another person
@@Vinsainto I understand completely about the app, I checked it out as well and had the same problems that you did about the saving the liked recipes! Thank you!
CW Eating Disorders . I'm glad you mentioned the underlying issues of disordered eating and diet culture these types of work out diets have. There is a specific eating disorder called Orthorexia which is defined as: "an obsession with healthy eating with associated restrictive behaviors. However, the attempt to attain optimum health through attention to diet may lead to malnourishment, loss of relationships, and poor quality of life." Basically being so fixated on only eating "healthy" to the point of harming yourself. Its not as well known as other eating disorders, but it should be. Lastly, not in response to you but in general it should be stated more: fat is not only beautiful, but also it doesn't make anyone morally wrong for just being fat. It is not necessarily linked with health either. Peoples bodies are so different
I'm glad you're speaking about how little food it actually is (especially the lack of carbs). This vid is not only entertaining but important for any younger audience who might easily get influenced by 'lifestyles' like this.
i didn't know who pamela was until a few years ago where the store i worked at hosted a meet & greet with her and i basically had to work for her. she was one of the rudest people i ever met. also she kept talking about how she "never" eats sugar and that it's "disgusting". most of the people who came to meet her were minors and we handed out sweet popcorn to everyone waiting but most of the kids declined bc it had sugar in it so yeah..... i get that people can have bad days etc. but everything i've heard about her since then wasn't good either.
I think the "corn snack" is supposed to be cooked on the stove. I used to make simmilar snack but with cheakpeas and I just fried it on the stove then added a lil bit of salt. It was actually really tasty.
While recovering from ed i actually downloaded the app to try and start eating more while still eating healthy food which felt like a comfortable step forward, had to delete it bc it had so much triggers to me personally. Like the frozen corn. I could have done better research but i really thought that fitness was more about taking care of your body and giving it all the nutrition that it needs to function and less about diet culture and starving yourself.
You should totally try to eat for a day like Chloe Ting! She's a RUclips fitness influencer from Australia that created a view videos showing a whole day's worth of food with her showing you how to cook it. I've tried a few and they're not only good but filling. ruclips.net/user/ChloeTing
I feel you on the corn. Like why not heat it up? It's just like telling models to eat ice. Corn is basically just delicious filler so frozen it's not much better than ice.
Vielleicht könntest du es nochmal machen und dann einen von ihren Plänen folgen, sie hat auch Essenspläne und ich wüsste gerne, ob so ein Plan dann ausreichend Essen ist😅
If those are the exact recipes, I’d guess they are closer to the “diet” realm than they are to “fitness.” A little peanut butter, an egg, some hummus.. No wonder you’re hungry at 5:30pm, you had like 25g of protein. 😂
There is zero chance to build up muscles with this diet. For me it is very hard to gain weight and build up muscle, so I have to eat a lot of peanut butter and oat flour with my meal. And eggs and meat (protein). Eating veggies and fruits are healthy of course but you won't have enough strength to work out.
corn is a carbohydrate formed by a high content of starch (one of the simplest sugars). to use it as an example as a snack is funny because you could eat those carbohydrates in a better way at lunch. people go with a nutricionist (people who actually study) to know how YOU eat and what is better for ur body, dont follow those influencers
That sweet corn? Ridiculous. I definitely see your point. Fitness influencers and their eating habits, way sus. Also, instead of that handful of boring carbs you might as well get a huge bowl of popcorn, same difference but with the latter being much tastier.
There is not nearly enough variety of nutrients in these dishes. I know people think you have to starve to be healthy but that is such an overdone lie I can't take it. Have a burger. Eat real pizza. Lol
My chef brain wondering what pestos arent vegan, because fundamental homemade pesto is just blended olive oil and basil and whatever other herbs or garlic or spices you like. Is that not vegan by nature?
I love the way you say onions👌😂 These recipe don't seem to healthy at all especially coming from a fitness influencer!! I don't think they realize how how much influence they have on young kids especially if they are just learning how to eat healthy! Geeze My smoothies are healthier lol🤪🤪
I think if you take that corn, warm it for two minutes in the micro, drain the liquid, add lemon/lime, mex. spice, salt and pepper along with a drizzle of avocado oil then that is a snack. But that thawed nonsense belongs in the 🗑️..
Lets just talk about the frozen corn yuck!! Wth?!! at first I thought oh ok maybe it’ll get roasted in the oven but nooooo he had to eat it raw and frozen(thawed). 🤢

Idk I think you can eat more snd still be healthy. I think some of these recipes are quite problematic, but that’s just my opinion.
this!!
i think you deserve to make one like "eating like an italian" after this one
Hahahah very sweet of you
Omg love your food related videos, they are so cozy and comforting 🍂
You sadly eating a bowl of corn in your yellow vest, while the corn song plays, had my dying! Love you and your videos! 🌽💛🌝
I m happy that there is finally someone who just tells the truth 😄 I loove your video. So refreshingly honest! ☺️
Ahhh yess this brings me right back to the days right before I was hospitalized for an eating disorder 🤠

shakshuka without crunchy bread and with no onion is the saddest thing ever
6:17 “It’s been way too long. I’m two blocks away …” - the AG reference had me SCREAAAMINGGGGG 😄
if you liked shakshuka, you should definitely try others North African dishes ! Maghrebi food is everything
And yes shakshuka is eaten with bread

"Life is what ....is also long" Lmao😂
thank you for including your thoughts on model “snacks” - it needs to be said
I am glad you had the insight (and spoke about it) regarding the corn. When I saw what the recipe entailed I instantly thought eating disorder. Sad :/
Pamela's diet is so obv disordered. Tired of people in denial of their EDs pushing it on others. Thanks for being honest!

Shakshuka without bread or pita to dip is a CRIME! 🤣
Right???? That’s what I was thinking lmao
Keep up with the content this is really great!
Your point in this video are so important! Thank you for thattt
So funny watching you eat the corn. I dont think I would eat cold oily corn for a snack.
I have to agree with you, it triggered me a bit because diet culture is so problematic and watching you eat the frozen corn just made me feel so bad

Hi! Very late answer, but I think the non-vegan part in traditional pesto is the parmesan
LOL stick that corn in the Microwave.... at least you can then eat it.
I did the same challenge in my channel and it was soo hard and expensive hahaha

i like how salty you are, hahaha! and i think your annoyance is justified
