    I am only a kid, and I have always been fascinated by these ww2 vets. I am mostly fascinated with these men because of my own grandfather. He was a ww2 vet, died when I was only 6, and never ever spoke of his experiences. It has always been my dream to just interview a couple of these heroic figures, but I seem to have never gotten the chance. If there is anyway you could help connect me to some, that would be very much appreciated.

      Good luck with your interviews. I hope that you post them. I find the best interviews are when the interviewer asks the minimum amount of questions and just lets the subject talk. Of course, it’s good to ask for details or dates if the subject misses them. It is sad that in the next ten years all of these guys will be gone.

    I love these...however...you repeat a great deal of the same questions...poor old man sat for 2.5 hours at least 1/3 rd was repetitive. Just a suggestion...create a general outline. I do respect and appreciate what you do my grandfather is 103....last February...wounded on Normandy Beach, US Army while digging in by enemy shrapnel. I'm proud of that man...not because of his dedication to this country, but his dedication to his family. God Bless.

We should never forget these accounts from the individuals as it communicates the personal sacrifice, horror and endurance these men faced on a daily basis. Walk a mile in any one of these mens boots and war itself will become history.

    Mr.. Sugg, you are so right!
    These adults graduating today, even as far as 10 years ago, needs 2 years in the military! They need to be disciplined, learn respect, & most of all independence, the bible & pledge of allegiance along with prayer!
    Yes, my parents taught me to play hound and the heir!

    • @swtbbyjms3806
      @swtbbyjms3806 2 года назад

      No prayer, no scripture. They need to learn science, which is provable.

    • @RB-bd5tz
      @RB-bd5tz 2 года назад

      @@swtbbyjms3806 1. I knew you would say this before I clicked "View Reply." Every time someone makes a comment referencing Christianity, the first reply is knee-jerk chastisement or mockery.
      2. Every time a society abandons the tenets of the Bible, it degenerates: observe the state of Western civilization today. When God is abandoned, selfish, powerful, evil people rule. The Bible predicted the global totalitarianism we see arising (Rev 13:11-18).
      3. There is real, valuable, provable, useful science - and then there is evolutionism. This hypothesis says that animals reproduce animals of other kinds, and scientists insist that that this is "fact," though it has never been observed. In the scientific method, you start with a hypothesis, then design and execute an experiment to test that hypothesis. Nobody has carried out an experiment in which they observed one species change into another species with a different body type. "Of course not," they say, "that takes millions of years." Well then, evolutionism is not subject to the scientific method, and so is not scientific.
      The Bible says plants and animals reproduce their own kind (Gen 1:11,12,21,24,25), and this has been observed billions of trillions of times. If I hypothesize that two cats will reproduce more cats, I can test and verify that, ad infinitum. So which view is better supported by scientific, empirical evidence?
      Even the foundation of evolutionism, abiogenesis (the notion that rocks spontaneously turn themselves into DNA, functioning cells, and thinking brains), is not proven. There is a $10 million prize on the table for the person who essentially proves the foundation of evolution - and the "proof" wouldn't even be proof, since it would necessarily involve intelligent (human, in this case) design.
      The Bible says, "With God, all things are possible (Matt 19:26; Mark 10:27)." Evolutionists say, "With Time, all things are possible." Evolutionism is no more than a religion, with Time as its god, and evolutionary scientists and school teachers as its priests.

    Living national treasures, each & everyone, breaks my heart how the communists in America are silencing their voices, disparaging their acts & the complete & utter contempt dumped upon the men who actually fought real nazis & millennial scum have the vile evilness to call these elders “nazis” for simply understanding the real world, I was partially raised/babysat by men & women just like this, I’m the kid who did bring a note to the corner grocery store for a pack a buglers, a fifth of rye, a ham hock for dinner soup & enough change for a couple candy bars & a soda, hard to believe that was 30 years ago & the war was 30 years before that time, I will always stand for them & kneel at the cross for them & NEVER mixup the two

    When I listen to a guy like this, it reinforces my life long belief that not all Americans are equal, in as "better thsn"
    "worthless". Sure we are "americans" "default", illegal birth right, mindless.
    I know this is true, from first hand knowledge. I was drafted into the Army I would not volunteer. I was side by side with soldiers who were bigger patriots MORE PATRIOTIC....... They Volunteered. Better Americans. We fought for each other just the same. But, I have always been aware of the fact. So this interview brings home the sickening reality of the low life worthless people in this administration.
    Thank you for this interview. I like your interviews, I think yo give the best, you let the Vet talk.
    I would like to say something, I know that the Vets in our PTSD Group at the VA HOSPITAL agree on thid.
    "Thank you for your service" we know it is ment in a good way. I don't like it, it makes me.. Us feel guilty. The words mean nothing. I never felt like I was owed anything.
    If I could be thanked, the only way in gods green earth would be to SHOW US VETS by your actions, and attude.
    Thanks to me... Us dosen't get it from default wanna be citizens. When I see Americans acting like Americans THATS WHEN THE SACRIFICE becomes worth it to the living AND THE DEAD.

    Iran is not anywhere near north Africa. He was confused about that. He is no doubt right about the local religion. Sounds like he got there after the Germans/Italians were driven out...There have been communities that dug large circular maybe twenty feet across open pits and excavated dwellings into the sides of the pits. These were cool in the daytime and warm at night. The pit made a nice patio with partial shade except at high noon. Not sure this is still being done or not.
