    Thanks for helpful video. My age is 29 I will surely go for covaxin. But I have few doubts
    1. Why comparison base is not similar for covishield and covaxin. Ex number of patients
    2. Covaxin is purely Indian vaccine then why government promoting covishield
    3. Why covaxin is underrated

    • @DrSwapnilsHealthARC
      @DrSwapnilsHealthARC  3 года назад

      each vaccine trials are different according to company ,so we cannot say why this many people is taken for any vaccine brand ,each study is unique and verified by government agencies,according to virologist covaxin was always better because its whole vaccine ,Covaxin was never underrated but we didnt realize the importance since we dont give importance to india made vaccine .Since india is largely populated country we cannot depend on only one vaccine so india has given approval for many vaccine for better coverage as india is planning to procure 216 million vaccine in near future

    Dr Swapnil, thank you for this video. I have a question on behalf of my relative. She has HCV induced ITP for over 8 years. But once she was treated for her HCV (she had to take HEPCIVIL for three months), the HCV results started showing negative and she now has a platelet count of 120k to 140k on an average test (which used to fluctuate between 20k-50k before). Haemoglobin is usually around 11. BP is normal. No symptoms of ITP (no rash or pupura). Pulse rate is usually around 94-96. She was being treated at Tata Medical Center and the doctor asked her not to come for checkup regularly as she has no such medical issues anymore. But she is skeptical about taking the vaccine fearing side effects due to her medical history. The hospital is in the other end of the city and there is no provision for video consultation. She leads a healthy life and does her own work at home and has shown no medical symptoms that may cause worry over the last 2 years. What do you opine in such case sir? Is her concern valid? Can there be problems if she opts for covaxin? Please advise if possible. Thank you. 🙏

    If covaxin and sinopharma are based on same technique by killing dead virus then still UAE doesn't approved covaxin in there country why ? now WHO also approved covaxin for emergency use

      UAE mein rehti vo, wahaan covaxin approved nahi hai as of now.
      Sinopharm was trialled in UAE, there phase 3 trials were completed late last year and was amongst the earliest vaccines in the country. That's why, she still can't recommend covaxin to her patients.

      Dr Nishi is from uae ,so she is telling that sinopharm was introduced in uae first which is whole virus vaccine like covaxin ,she is not suggesting but telling that covaxin is better
