If earth stops rotating , everything which on earth will be thrown away into space (escape velocity of earth is 11.2 km/hr and earth rotation speed is 1600km/hr ) . which may results to end of life on earth ( even lithosphere plates are also thrown away into space ) . FREE RIDE TO SPACE . WE MIGHT END UP ON ANOTHER PLANET FOR UPSC PREPARATION .😊

    If Earth stop rotating
first one hemisphere will receive sun and other will not
Second winds will not be deflected it will go straight hence there will be no temperature or heat distribution.
Third rotation of earth also provides energy for endogenic forces
