*NOTE: This SC1-R is not the 2021/22 model but the 2020 version. This one is slightly shorter than the new Euro 5 version. I'll post a comparison video of the two soon!

I think sound of a bike really comes down to personal preference. Do you prefer a more rowdy sound or deep baritone sound. They both sound incredible but I’d go with the Akra.
Akra sounds more refined no doubt.

Normal phone microphone. The SC-R is just a slip on.

The recordings are not good enough to judge. Don't take this the wrong way, but to capture a bikes exhaust accurately is a complicated task. I'm an audio engineer and I've been trying to figure out how to get this done accurately, but it's field recording and that's a whole other game.
From this video it would have to be the SC. But I've heard the akra in person and it's glorious
Sc all day. Going to grab an scr1 on the next daily, all the glory of the CRT but a bit quieter. Though everytime I start my tuono with the crt I change my mind 😂🤣
Akrapovic enhances performance and lowers weight. Others make noise. You can check the choices' motivations on the tyres use..... 😉

@@Victor_Moto I am located at the EU. I just found your video about old vs. new SC Project exhaust on 2022 Aprilia. Now everything is clear. I was referring to new sc-project exhaust that’s why I did not find any 250 mm without exhaust valve. Thanks

Sc more raspy. Akra is a cleaner sound but more quiet. If u gonna go sc may as well go gp22 or crt and deafen everyone.

I have a new bike (for me), Tuono V4 factory 1100 -20. It has the Akra slipon + race map.
It is a bit to quiet. But is the SCR-1 better sounding and louder than the Akra? Big difference? And compared to the short CR-T? Cant tell if its worth 1000€ to switch my Akra to SCR-1 or CR-T....
Cant listen to them anyware that I know of so thats the problem...
If you think the Akrapovic slip on is too quiet, you should consider a CR-T. The SC1R is louder than the Akra but nut a whole lot louder.

Does changing your exhaust affect the engine? Do I need to tune it after changing
Yes, tuning it to the exhaust is ideal for the engine but changing the map could void your bike's engine warranty (if it's still under the 2 Year Factory Warranty).

Sc sounds better but Akrapovič is from my Slovenian brothers so I choose Akrapovič

@@wradford1 I will put up my SE project sound against an Acura any day of the week. All day long and then when I do a flyby, we’ll see how many thumbs up goes for the SE project compared to an Acura. Do your own test find an SE project exhaust on an Aprilia and then an Acura on Aprilia and having to fly by us and you make your own choice but to each his own. Good luck with your exhaust. I can’t see why all the hype about SC. I seen on tip for $2100.00 for a glorified exhaust tip.
This SC1R is around $1,100.

I have put full exhausts on every single bike I've ever owned... I'm at 30+ bikes now in 30 years of riding, and I will never, EVER, buy an exhaust that isn't Akrapovic. They are the best in every regard, everything else is overpriced shite.
