I bought this Natasha Denona powder foundation the minute you talked about it (used your discount of course!) on the new makeup releases. I have been enjoying it except under my very wrinkly eyes. I need to figure out how to make that look less mummy and more alive.

It's called "Pallet Town" because it's the first town in the original region. All the other towns are named for colours, so you start at a paint pallet and go to the colours as you explore.

If the sunburn still continues, and if you want some soothing, calming effect, you could look for anything with cica, centella, vitamin b5, etc those green plant stuff. Those really help with my inflammation. Hope it helps.
I switch back and forth between MakeUp Forever's previous powder foundation formula and the Fenty Drop foundation. I definitely use concealer before each. It's especially nice to conceal before powder foundation since the powder foundation locks in any concealer I've used. I also prefer a dense brush for powder application. I always feel like I get too much foundation with those sponges. I kind of wonder if what they mean with the hydrating "oil control" is that it's not drying and kind of mixes with the oils in your face to look really nice. Who knows! I appreciate you trying this out tho. I am going to need a new powder foundation when my MUF runs out (the new formula is terrible for me).

I’m re-reading ACOTAR right now, but I liked Crescent City even more! If you like fantasy, the Daughter of Smoke and Bone trilogy is way better than anything by Sarah J Maas. Also, everything by Naomi Novik 👍🏻👍🏻

I was a huge Pokémon kid and the restraint it is taking to not infodump and explain all the references lol. The og Pokémon games (and working gameboys) are actually not that hard to come by on eBay. I think they still hold up really well, if you like games that have turn based combat and a lot of collecting and strategy elements you would probably enjoy them, and as a gamer a lot of the elements might feel familiar, because so many other games have taken inspiration from Pokémon.
I tried the palette today and I used Lavender Town, but I had the hardest time getting the purple to be pigmented. I used concealer and powder first to give a whiter base, and I felt like I was applying so much shadow to get the color to show up. Have you tried the other shades yet?

It’s so interesting how fragrances perform differently on everyone. I thought the kayali perfume dried down to a strong sweet patchouli so it wasn’t a hit on my skin.

I wear a wide brimmed, big hat in the pool that keeps my face in shadow. I have one that's like a sporty canvas, safari khaki type hat that is specifically billed as waterproof and washable, but I also have some $20 fashion ones from Forever 21 that are an airy weave and low stakes, if I ruin them.
Pallet Town is the hometown of your character in the first game, really the perfect name for a pokemon collection.
This look is fun. I do not have much luck with yellow eyeshadows. They always look a different color on my skin and get all sheer in spots and patchy, especially pastel ones.

I always want the winkie lux lip balms that are like the Pokémon ones. They're so expensive though. They're like $18-$20 at Target, and I don't wanna spend that on a drugstore lip balm. Am I being unreasonable?
I did not like ACOTAR and chose to not continue in the series. I am really enjoying the Locked Tomb series at the moment.

I was able to snag the lip balm in ⚡it didn't change my lip color but seems moisturizing and the packaging is so cute 💛. Picked up a couple super shock shadows 💙💚. This is such a cute collection. I'm really considering buying the Natasha Denona powder foundation.

I'm in the process of reading the Throne of Glass series right now. I'm almost done with the tandem read of Empire and Tower. I read the ACOTAR series before this one and actually like the Throne of Glass series more. But it all just comes down to preference. Both series are great. 🥰
I'm a fair redhead so i would've fried in the sun without reapplying sunscreen, but every single facial sunscreen I've tried breaks me out so bad. Well any sunscreen I put on my face does. I don't put sunscreen underneath makeup because i can't reapply and it's basically ineffective by the time I'm finished with my make-up application, and I don't burn if I have make-up on. Unfortunately I can't wear make-up in a pool lol.

I bought two of the pokeball lip masks so I would have one decoration and one to use 😅. Love the bright but not neon shadows they picked 🍾🎉
While pokemon does have a show, I think it makes heavier references to the videogame. The gameplay is that you collect pokemon, makea team to challenge the gyms to get all the medals and challenge the top trainers while at the same time foiling the criminal team that wants to bring harm to the region. All of the towns and cities are from the first generation of games, places you have to go either for a gym or for a quest, as well as the pokemon shown. And the palette colors are around the pokemon types (each type allows a pokemon diferent sets of moves). Blue for water, green for grass, purple for psychic, pink for normal (in later generations many pink pokemons are fairy types but in gen 1 they're normal), red for fire, yellow for electric. And in order to complete the pokedex (a piece of techh given to you by a pokemon researccher at the beginning of the game) you have to catch one of each types of pokemon using pokeballs. The red one in the balm is the basic pokeball and first you get to use in the game though there are other types of pokeballs. The glosses surround Eevee, the one pokemon which can evolve to nultiple different types depending on what evolution stone or method of evolution you use; in gen 1 there is only water, fire and electric.

I can appreciate the Kayali perfume-I don’t care for gourmands. What I do care for is bubblegum..very much so! But, on me and my body chemistry I only smell the bubblegum for a split second and then the scent turns very lactonic on me. I like the smell of sweets, I just don’t want to smell sweet myself!
Now, the new sniff scent is something of a different story for me. I have loved Coca Cola since my parents could afford to buy it for us way back in the 70’s! I’m 52 (now) and probably drink more cola than I should but I love it! I love the taste, the smell, the effervescent of it all! So! I will most definitely be purchasing that scent next! I just bought From the Garden by Replica. Which I LOVE! Reminds me of my Nan’s tomato garden. I’ve always loved the scent of tomato leaf. And, also I purchased Bella Hadeed’s perfume called Salted Muse by Orabella. Angie- if I know your nose I would try this one out of the four she launched. Omg! I feel like a mermaid lying on a beach when wearing this. I think you’ll LOVE the notes! I think you’ll really love this one. And, they come in the travel size, too!!! ❤❤❤❤❤

Thank you always for explaining what you like or don’t like about a product and more importantly why. I am also a medium skin tone but my undertone is cool not warm and I’m a lot older so my skin is starting to get drier. As a result, I pay careful attention to things like how drying a product and what the undertones of face products are. You have never steered me wrong. I have bought products strictly on your recommendation and have loved ALL of them.
I’m not a fan of sugary perfume so will pass on that. I’m way too old for Pokemon but it is cute.
I'm so happy you're enjoying Sarah J Maas. I don;t think I could say I like ACOTAR more than TOG - TOG one is more epic/ story driven, ACOTAR a little more on the romance side. I'm also in a big reading slump and only read the first book in her 3rd series - Crescent City, so I read other books in between. I definitely think you will ove them all. I did grow up with Pokemon btw, I had German TV back in Romania and they had some different anime every afternoon - Sailor moon, Dragon Ball, Pokemon. I loved all of them, but Sailor Moon will forever be my number 1. I didn;t play any Pokemon games, just some Pokemon go here and there and I start to feel old when they keep introducing new pokemon and I can't keep up.😂 Hope you can adjust your schedule to have more reading time and do keep us updated on ACOTAR - I'm so so curious. Also that make up look - wow! That yellow is so bright and fun!
