The spoiler is correct gull wing for 69, it's just that it's not set at 90 degrees. It's lifted a little to much. I know, I have one like it only with a 428
Nicholas Noriega I don’t think a factory produced generic Mach 1 was faster than a Boss 302, but I’m sure this one in today’s world is. I think it’s probably about the same as a Boss 429. In comparison.
I bought a new '69 Mach 1 with the 351W, automatic, and ran a Boss 302 stick shift at a local strip. He beat me every time in the quarter mile, worse each week we ran. The stick gave him an advantage and I think he was doing some mods to the engine. We were running Pure Stock but he worked at the track and might have been getting away with some stuff. Looking back, I wish I had had more sense than to run a new car like that.
@@markkimera My 69 Mach was a barn find 20 years ago.Now its sporting a really rare built 71 Boss 351 Cleveland Mated to a 5 speed TKX Tremec. Out back a complete Curry 4:11 9in 31 spline rear end. Under the Shaker A Holley Sniper EFI tops the motor .And Jet hot coated 3in Delta Flowmasters all the way out the back...It's like mechanical music !
maybe it is just me but the right side (passenger side) exhaust tip looks off. and ya the exhaust sucks, all that was mentioned was a ford v8, was it a 302? 351? bored? if this was a real FE it would have sounded way better.
+lander4545 - Sorry you are incorrect. The angle of the wing slopes with the rear deck body line. The wing is on correctly. The angled edge goes in the back not the front. People placing the wing backwards (the way you think it should go) is quite common, but incorrect.
Research it LOL. I've only owned one for 30 years. The angle goes towards the back. Take your own advice. The problem with the picture is the owner has the wing tilted at 90 deg. which isn't optimal, but the wing is adjustable and is installed correctly.

I always thought the 69 Mach 1 was one of the best looking Mustangs.
In my opinion, it's the best body style ever of any car.
When you don't tell people the price it's like waving a huge sign that says "stay away or get ripped off"

The 69 Mach is soo sexy in black !...I had to eliminate the stock quad tips on mine as they are very restrictive..
