Back in 1972 I bought one of these. It wasn't exactly what an eighteen year old boy desired but I had just wrecked my first car an old 57 Olds and was desperate. I paid 1,100 dollars for it and it had low mileage and was in mint condition. Super good car four door, 383 engine, auto, power steering, and power brakes. Blue primary color with a white top. I only kept it for nine months because I was a little embarrassed to drive it. I traded it for a 1970 Roadrunner which obviously suited a then nineteen year old better. The Newport was an excellent car with lots of power and a huge trunk big enough to haul your whole family in. It just wasn't cool enough for me to keep at that young cool before practical age.

That has to be one of the coolest family cars built from that era. Father bought a '69 for his family. Not as cool as this '67. He'll be 94 in July. Mom just left us at 92. I'm a lucky guy.

That seems like a well taken care of original car. You could tell as soon as the video started that car would be good. Nice ride!!

My squad leader owned one of these as we were stationed in Arizona, a long while ago. Same color, interior, but this one was a convertible. He and his wife took four of us for a ride after dinner--what a ride. Had a touch of the classic cowl shake(a bit unnerving but a smooth ride and powerful with that 383/Torqueflite combo.

That would've been a sleeper in the 80's with a pre-smog 383! It's heavy but not that heavy and will hook every time. It probably was as quick 0-60 as a new 5.0 Mustang or 305 Camaro back then and once you get the momentum built up forget about it lol.

I had one of these my last year of high school. It was light blue with a white vinyl roof. 383, power windows, power seats ran like a top. Unfortunately my parents sold it while I was in the Army. I thought it was a great car.

I’m a huge fan of these C Body Mopars, especially the ‘67/‘68 model years with the “fast top” roofline as Mopar called it. Gotta love that 1st gear whine on those 727 TorqueFlites! This is a nice car for the money.
