Still take the M8 any day of the week, sounds better, looks way better, all he needs is some light weight rims and it would be a different outcome because the M8 is a boat.

Those are forged wheels already. They don't weigh much.

@damians8498 doesn't matter, they are heavier than Carbon fiber and Magnesium wheels, Litespeed racing rims are insanely light at least 5-10lbs lighter than the stock rims so with that much rotation mass weight savings solid a car to two car difference on a roll maybe more since they are going over 160, and anyone who can afford an M8 can afford these rims....
@mk5rob42 30-40k rims is not in the budget for the average m8 buyer I'm going to guess.

Super close runs but the M3 was worried lol jumped on race 1 and 3
Look at the details before commenting, around minute 2:58 you can clearly see his brake lights going off at the same time m3 started. 2nd race m3 starts almost half a car behind . Race 1 I did slightly jump a bit but it was the same jump that m8 did on 2nd race and cars were neck on neck 🫠
@@1savagem3 I see what you’re saying but you still went on 2 in the last race, you can hear the exhaust and his brake lights came off a split second later at 3. Pause and watch closely. 2nd race is the real outcome I believe. Good runs regardless no hate bro 👌 This is RUclips we all type away lol

M8 is nice , rear seat removal, lite weight exhaust and magnesium wheels ...would help it on the rolls ....it's already fast off the line and that's really what it's designed for....0-60 and 1/4 mile...I rarely see it win rolls against cars with similar hp
More of a cruiser than an off the line car, isn’t it? It’s kind of heavy and I’m sure it’s better 60-100+ than it is 0-60
Nope it's all wheel drive and can do 2.6 to 2.8 0-60 ....at 4200 to 4300 lbs it's not a roll racing platform normally...

M8. Competition comes with v8 twin turbo and usually are 2 and a half to 3 second cars from 0-60. Ain't no way

@95regShamil In what why? I understand the It's a beast of an engine on the street..., but pushing 800hp, you need to rebuild the motor.. You can't be fast fast these days on the on the S58.. While B58 can push 1000whp stock motor and has the ability to hit 7s as it's running now and its limits are still being pushed

I noticed that the BMW's M class I like five and eight M class but it do not have that come back and catch you speed like the Ford GT500 or the Super Snake. If they in front they good but if they behind they do not catch up. 05-12-24

Great race unfortunately torque four limiter kicks in at 1:40. That’s the problem with the S6 three we’re working on fixing it. Only the second run was with brake boost the other two was without 😅 but great fun
Love seeing the V8 M platform get some love, B58/S58 and predecessors are pretty incredible, but I have a thing for V8s

While the S63T4 has proven to be capable of over 800+ wheel on stock turbos, the S68 has proven to be capable of around 260whp over stock using a JB4 only (and higher octane fuel), taking it up to 855whp from 595awhp on the stock map.
Not bad considering that’s stock hardware and stock tune. Just fuel and boost. I have no doubt that bolt ons and an actual tune would get over 900+ to the wheels on the stock turbos.
Pretty impressive that they gave the S58 and S68 turbos of this size. Nothing crazy, but it would be a healthy turbo upgrade back in the day
@@PapiAndrey where are you seeing the s68 doing 900whp reliably? Aren't they powdered rods? People on the forums are talking about bending rods in the 750whp range although it doesn't seem like that community talks with each other well enough to determine for sure.

I forgot to mention that it was a hybrid (XM) but that was also with a jb4 and stock hardware.
So i imagine hardware mods and a proper tune should make more.
Rods aren’t a real issue if torque comes on later, 700lb-ft at 7k rpm is ~930hp, it should have no problem holding
I won’t talk about reliability because i haven’t seen anything long term yet nor have i looked much into it. Just speaking about potential,

Going on e40 and pushing these turbos are putting the engine to its limits. The rods aren't really strong. So unless your willing to build the bottom end, you have really be careful on the custom e40 tunes.

@@AutoGloryrods on the s63 is a misconception, for the earlier s63tus yes but the latest s63tu4 such as the one in this m8 have the same rods as the S58.
