The steel pipe is a single acting spool for tipping a trailer. That second pipe in the massy might be a free flow return I can’t see any other way of it working off the lift and I’d say the pump can only work one way. If it is a free flow return then you could run this through a valve chest which u could probably get online and it could give you up to three spools. The two pipes go onto your valve chest and the oil is pumped from one and returns to the oil reservoir through the other. I have this system on my Ford and works perfectly.
Flow rate = bucket and stopwatch 😉😁. Just don’t starve the pump😳. Uhhh high time to service the Massey! Ha, the Massey doesn’t have an auxiliary pump. You just divert the 3 point to external…similar to my 255. The single port is a pressure control port…single acting constant pressure. You don’t want to know what kind of oil😂👍🏻
Good man Declan. Right handy job 👍🏼 Just admiring the Massey, she's in great condition for her age, and still well able to work. Hard to beat the old school machinery. 😁 Looking forward to your next video.
What you could do for hydraulic flow is put a pipe into a oil drum and pull the spool for a set amount of time e.g. 10 seconds then measure the oil and x 6 to give your flow per minute
What are your plans for the future do you think you’ll increase numbers or how many head of cattle do ya have so far

Nice video Declan! Very informative. That's a nice pair of tractors you have. Thanks for the hydraulics lessons. Well done!
If you rev the engine of the massey more there will be more psi coming from the spool
Great video Declan 👍👍
Hi mate, by any chance did you finish the 4230 for fs19?

It is the return
Nice video on the hydraulic keep them videos coming
Are ya going making any more videos on the channel or taking a break away???
U need to get the door back.on John degrees mate

Rev up.the masses.a.little.for the test it will.improve the pump pressure
Also.the masses.may not have a double acting spool valve, hence the no pressure on the second spool.
the solid steel pipe is the original hydraulic pipe and should be seeing preesure

Well boi
Is it only me the video won’t play for
My dream is to buy a tractor 😒
Get a new dor for your tractor.
Good video, but get to the point
