I thought this review was a joke. Until the guy starts trying facts. 1- console is far too big and ugly. He forgot to mention you need a stand so it won’t wobble 2- loud disc drive Jesus. Worse than Dreamcast 3- UI is worse than PS4. PS3 had the best UI 4- games are garbage. The only exclusive was a remake sold for 70 dollars 5- no support for hevc. No support for NTFS. 6- controllers are already breaking 7 - controller battery is not even half of the Xbox. 8- there’s no pro controllers. Xbox has several. 9- no support for os controllers 10- support for external drives is dodgy. 11- front lights are distracting. Unless you put the console behind you.

After 2 years, getting a PS5 is my biggest regret. This is easily the worst fucking PlayStation console ever. I suggest no one buy this and instead get a high end gaming PC and wait for the exclusives.

@yoshibius no play sekiro on ps4. Thats 30fps and it dips down in some areas. The game is unplayable. Black desert online in ps4 is like 15 fps and is just unacceptable. And many more games arent 60 fps on the ps4. On ps5 these games are 60fps and makes the game so much smoother. On xbox it can make last gen games 120fps. It’s actually a big difference. Lower fps makes the game seem choppy and laggy

The problem with ps4 for me is when I live stream it stops my stream and says your connection has been lost connect to the internet, which is messed up when my internet is working fine and I live in an apartment and my room is right next door to the internet box. other then that I have no problems for ps4. I've been gaming on sony consoles since the ps1 and I enjoyed them all (especially 3) up until the ps4. There was only a handful of good games to play, they started charging for ps plus, all the new "triple a" games were trash and most of them couldn't manage any better than 30fps. Dark Souls Remastered was the best thing to come out of the ps4. I already knew I didn't want a ps5 but I figured eh maybe it would be worth an upgrade since planetside 2 runs at 60fps on it but after hearing all your complaints I'm certain it's not with touching. Honestly I'm still annoyed that they haven't bothered adding water cooling to their consoles. It's 2021 and their consoles sound like jet engines out of the box? Geez, they're really just taking tiny steps a decade at a time and evidently some of those steps are backwards.

One of the only reasons i don’t want a Ps5 despite owning PS consoles throughout my life is how disappointing yet overhyped they are. Another is how anti consumerist it is and it lacks as a media center. Had to switch to PC and linked it with an Xbox. People need to get off the bandwagon and realise that the Xbox has flown miles ahead in many ways not to mention the incredible PC support.

PS5 actually sucks ass, this thing straight up shuts off on any game that has better graphics then minecraft. The thing can hardly handle GTA 5, let alone newer games like GOW Ragnarok. The amount of times i’ve had this thing just turn off on me while i’m in to middle of a mission in a game is insane. And the thing was brand new when I bought it
How to start this. PS1 was fun with many good games. Then the PS2 had alot of good games. Also can play PS1 games. Then PS3 comes along with not too many good games. But system wise was fantastic. Download movies, music off websites to the hard drive. I used PS3 as a computer more than a gaming console. Only exclusive games on ps3 that i enjoyed was Heavy rain & Beyond two souls. PS4 comes out. Talk about a huge disappointment as it was very limited on what you can do. Internet browser was terrible as you could no longer download anything. Games got worse. Cant play any of your old ps games unless you pay for PlayStation now which requires online in order to play. Ps3 also was terrible when it came to past gen games. Even mods for Skyrim & Fallout had strick terms from sony making mods trash. Xbox you get the full experience with mods. Ps4 brand new couldn't even play blu ray unless you download the blu ray app. Most people like me moved to Xbox as it has way better titles and can play order gen games. Was able to download stuff or upload with the browser until Microsoft changed it. But you can download another internet browser app to continue to do what you do. Ps3 was the last system i enjoyed. PS4 felt like a downgrade. Definitely have no interest in PS5. I have a feeling that PlayStation will die out in the coming years. Probably being Japanese only system in the future as PlayStation is more popular in Japan vs xbox. But in America\ UK,EU,AU Xbox is king.

You can go to settings and change the resolution. But you need a 4k tv 60hz for 60fps and 120hz for 120fps

And many more games arent 60 fps on the ps4. On ps5 these games are 60fps and makes the game so much smoother. On xbox it can make last gen games 120fps. It’s actually a big difference. Lower fps makes the game seem choppy and laggy

The problem with ps4 for me is when I live stream it stops my stream and says your connection has been lost connect to the internet, which is messed up when my internet is working fine and I live in an apartment and my room is right next door to the internet box. other then that I have no problems for ps4.

I just bought a ps5 and I couldn't be more dissapointed, i pretty much did the upgrade for deadspace and the calysto protocol. The console didn't transfer my ps4 data so all my existing games are fucking gone im pretty pissed

I've been gaming on sony consoles since the ps1 and I enjoyed them all (especially 3) up until the ps4. There was only a handful of good games to play, they started charging for ps plus, all the new "triple a" games were trash and most of them couldn't manage any better than 30fps. Dark Souls Remastered was the best thing to come out of the ps4. I already knew I didn't want a ps5 but I figured eh maybe it would be worth an upgrade since planetside 2 runs at 60fps on it but after hearing all your complaints I'm certain it's not with touching. Honestly I'm still annoyed that they haven't bothered adding water cooling to their consoles. It's 2021 and their consoles sound like jet engines out of the box? Geez, they're really just taking tiny steps a decade at a time and evidently some of those steps are backwards.

One of the only reasons i don’t want a Ps5 despite owning PS consoles throughout my life is how disappointing yet overhyped they are. Another is how anti consumerist it is and it lacks as a media center. Had to switch to PC and linked it with an Xbox. People need to get off the bandwagon and realise that the Xbox has flown miles ahead in many ways not to mention the incredible PC support.

I played Cold War on the Ps5 and it was horrible... Yes, the graphics were a little better but the controls are garbage to say the least and it felt like there was a delay in the entire game. Glad I didn't waste my $$$ on this hot garbage! 👎👎👎

PS5 actually sucks ass, this thing straight up shuts off on any game that has better graphics then minecraft. The thing can hardly handle GTA 5, let alone newer games like GOW Ragnarok. The amount of times i’ve had this thing just turn off on me while i’m in to middle of a mission in a game is insane. And the thing was brand new when I bought it

How to start this.
PS1 was fun with many good games. Then the PS2 had alot of good games. Also can play PS1 games. Then PS3 comes along with not too many good games. But system wise was fantastic. Download movies, music off websites to the hard drive. I used PS3 as a computer more than a gaming console. Only exclusive games on ps3 that i enjoyed was Heavy rain & Beyond two souls. PS4 comes out. Talk about a huge disappointment as it was very limited on what you can do. Internet browser was terrible as you could no longer download anything. Games got worse. Cant play any of your old ps games unless you pay for PlayStation now which requires online in order to play. Ps3 also was terrible when it came to past gen games. Even mods for Skyrim & Fallout had strick terms from sony making mods trash. Xbox you get the full experience with mods. Ps4 brand new couldn't even play blu ray unless you download the blu ray app. Most people like me moved to Xbox as it has way better titles and can play order gen games. Was able to download stuff or upload with the browser until Microsoft changed it. But you can download another internet browser app to continue to do what you do. Ps3 was the last system i enjoyed. PS4 felt like a downgrade. Definitely have no interest in PS5. I have a feeling that PlayStation will die out in the coming years. Probably being Japanese only system in the future as PlayStation is more popular in Japan vs xbox. But in America\ UK,EU,AU Xbox is king.
