I feel like John Wick is going to be a part of pop culture, and will be iconic in the future considering how the franchise is building and increasing popularity the way it is. The plot is simple, but it’s seriously a great action film! Can’t wait for you to react to the sequels and I’m hyped for the fourth film in March!

Baba Yaga is a Russian child’s story she’s a witch who looks like a gremlin basically, lives in the woods in a hut on chicken legs and she boils and eats people. Yet if you meet her you can barter your way out if you have something to offer, because whilst she’s a terrifying cannibal who can also basically make you do whatever she wants like dance till death she’s also kind of all knowing …? It’s weird. She also flies through the woods at terrifying speeds on a broom like a surf board basically or at times in a bucket thing holding the broom. Idk why these are the children stories that we slavics have lol
One thing that you have to sort of appreciate about Viggo is that he doesn't take the typical villain route of underestimating his opponent. He knows immediately how fucked he is and reacts accordingly. John's just too damn good, though.

So when Yoseph intruded his home, beat him up, & killed the dog his wife arranged to have sent, after her death, & when he was unprepared & grieving, John made a decision. It was something like, "I helped build it, I can help tear it down. Vigo didn't educate his Son about me & what I can do, & didn't teach him respect - so I'll teach them both. They can both suffer the consequences."

They messed with the wrong former assassin for hire in this action adventure thriller! The dog is not just a pet, it was supposed to represent John having a normal life, but when they killed his dog, they ruined his one chance at happiness.
Can't kill in the Hotel. If you do, you die. "No business is to be conducted on these premises, lest incurring heavy penalties." You're not even allowed to fight, but there seems to be a self defense provision.
The conversation about the weight loss with Francis wasn't about his weight, it was a code. Just like the "dinner reservation for 12" earlier. That was a code for 12 bodies need to be cleaned up. John actually asked Francis how many thugs are in there, and Francis told him. That's why John gave Francis the chance to leave alive.
John Wick is one of my favorite movies to watch with my dad (together with Last of the Mohicans, Taken and A Walk Among Tombstones). This movie is just so well shot, Keanu Reeves does an amazing job at portraying a character such as Wick and it just feels like something that while keeping the same formula of a lot of action movies, it still does a good job at standing apart.

This was an assassin vs mobster retelling of the Agent Smith vs Neo subway scene from the first Matrix movie. "You're out. So are you." Edit: About that arm snap. He had minced meat for muscles in that area already. He was shot there, hit by "many Jerkins" Perkins multiple times, etc. A stab there would not add more than a day to his recovery. It was a clean cut into already damaged tissue. It did award him the control over the lever that was Vigo's forearm and over his wrist. He grabbed the knife from him and gave himself the leverage to overpower Vigo's muscles and twist the thing out of the socket. Low price for a lot of damage and pain done to the man who didn't teach his son better than to kill a man's dog. Not even shock blocks that damage from hurting. Every breath you take. Every move you make. It will be hurting you. It will radiate throughout your body with every single millimeter of change of position. It will hold your balls hostage, making even them hurt if you dare as little as shift your body weight onto your other butt cheek. He then stabbed him in the axillary artery. Even if he did it on a surgery table with a full team of specialists ready to try to save him, no surgeon could be fast enough to do it. It supplies blood to your arm. Even a small nick causes massive internal bleeding. You are gone in a minute or so, depending on how fast your heart is pumping. After the fight, Vigo was probably pumping blood out like a race horse.
Actually Thunder Road Films has done a lot of good movies. All the John Wick movies, Sicario 1 & 2, wind river, the town, clash of the titans, wrath of the titans, we are Marshall. Greenland is the last movie I’ve seen of theirs. It was an amazing movie. If you haven’t seen greenland you should
