one of my first big gigs out of canada was when i got to be a singer on the beaches resort in turks and caicos. we had visa issues so they sent us to sandals south coast in jamaica ( a sister resort) while we waited for visa issues to be worked out. we got to live on the resort as a guest for a month, rehearsing minimally...was the best time..felt like this kind of music was alwaysss playing. would go back in a heartbeat. was bliss

I needed to see this and listen to that tropical music with views of the sand, water and palm trees. The beaches are closed because of this virus and live in Florida just an hour from the beaches. I want to be on that beach right now, not being stuck at home all this time.
I’m from the caribbean and I have a joke for you! So in like America and stuff like that at a spa they would have a quiet place with relaxing music, when I go to the spa everyone is liming, chatting and Soca is the music! Now that’s my type of relaxation! Also liming is what an American would say it as either a party, play date or hang out, all those words would just be lime!
@@mirandaceballos6250 yes, it was great, Bahamas, the water is like pool water, you can see right to the bottom, and the people are very warm and friendly, and they all speak English which helps, same in Bermuda, though we hit storms both arriving and leaving and they were nasty ones. Only drawback to cruises is you have to be back on the ship before the leave time, they shove off exactly on time, they always tell you to be back at least an hour before departure time, because maybe 30 minutes before, I think, is when they raise the planks, unless you're with a tour booked by the Cruise Line, then they HAVE to wait, for example, if you're on a tour and the bus is in an accident or gets a flat the tour person calls the ship and the ship will wait, or as happened in my case, the monorail at Disney World during our Florida and Bahamas Cruise broke down and several people were stuck on it, we got back maybe 30 minutes AFTER departure time, I thought for sure we'd be left behind, but I overheard the tour guy say to the Driver, "I'll call the ship". And when we arrived at the docks there I saw a familiar looking Norwegian Cruise Lines Ship still waiting. I highly recommend Nowregian Cruise Lines. Bermuda they dock for about 3 days so you don't have to worry about being left, unless you're on an excursion the last day, which we chose not to do, my Wife and I went on our last excursion the day before leave day, ao the last day we just chilled on the ship.
