Gawd! I so needed this today. I have a really scary surgery coming up and my very best friend just bailed on taking me all the way to San Francisco to do it. Its enough to make your brain melt. A little advice its great to be strong but don't age without family. It sucks. This is a friend of 25 years. I work with and for her 25 years. So thanks for an escape. Don't get old without a safety plan. Thank God for social workers. Thank goodness for your soft sweet music. I almost yelled at her. Wouldn't help. Just called medical social workers. Bless them when family is gone you have social workers and God. That's it. This is a terrible surgery. I'm scared. They will remove bones in my mouth and face. Music, God and weed is all we rally have. They will put me on opioids but I don't want that crap. I like natural medicine weed. If I didn't grow it, I don't know it.

looking out the window on an overcast grey day..2 black crows perched on the roof of the grey church...coffee and chocolate cake after a delicious lunch giving me that satisfied feeling all over ..... and the rhythmic music transporting me to a colourful place where grey doesn't exist...
I imagine-----Everyone has had a lovely dinner, the kids are tucked in, the parents and a few friends are getting ready to relax with a few drinks in the living room, someone drops a record on the player with this music the overhead lights go off, lamps come on....the men take off jackets and loosen their ties light up the cigarettes or cigars and stand to one side talking, the ladies kick off their heels and settle on to the sofa to visit with each other and the evening fades into night.
On Harbor Island, SC listening to this fantastic music and watching the sea birds soar and call out as they dive and dip along the shoreline. Beautiful morning! Wish you all were here!
