After enough rain that lake fills up from the north then drains out into the lake, then fills gradually and drains out the other side by the river.
It's very low at the moment, but if you are there a few days after a good saturation in the evening time the trout will be active feeding on emerging files and flies on the surface.
Especially when there's an olive hatch 👍👍
