Cyberpunk 2077 is one of the very few I’d consider a 10/10 masterpiece of a video game… No game will ever reach a point it couldn’t still be improved, but what 2077 delivers is astonishing.

@@grimm10k I need a 3 sided coin to toss to decide between Witcher 3, Cyberpunk 2077 and RDR2. Any one of them could fit into that top place for me depending on the day and my mood.

I agree with @kinorio5092 that Witcher 3 has the best story, and also the best stories when it comes to various side-quests too. I have barely played Cyberpunk, and it was before it was fixed, so I am curious, what makes this game a 10/10 Masterpiece in your opinion, and did you ever play Witcher 3, and if so, please let me know how much out of 10 you'd rate that, so I can compare.

RDR2 is game of century. Not including The Witcher 3 and GTA 4 or 5 here is a crime
Finished RDR2 last night for the first time. Overrated as hell. Not even as good as the first RDR

@@bassboostmusic2798 Well...without spoiling anything, certain characters were in the first game so I knew they had to survive in the second game. This rendered some of the events in the second game to be anticlimactic.
I also thought there was WAY too much time spent riding a horse or driving a wagon. Felt like that was about 40% of my playtime.
Lastly, the gameplay just left a lot to be desired for me. A lot of emphasis on the aim assist with the gunplay and some of the mini games, particularly in the epilogue, added nothing to the experience. I didn't need a fence building mini game or a cow milking mini game or a mini game where I'm picking up horseshit.
@@spacelion4763 your a farmer so u do farmer things? your trying to listen to your "wife" that u should put your gun away for now and be a family and follow the law, that's why u hav these mission to build on the story that u trying to live a normal life.
@@spacelion4763 you can fast travel if it is so boring and in the mission they talk when u ride the horse so u get some of the story while u riding. it to emerge u into the game, citys in the real world docent lay 1kilometer from echoer there is long distance between them, the game try to be "realistic" in does ways, the horse riding is a way to explore the world
Metro Exodus and Witcher 3 were both great too, but RDR2 is probably the best story game I’ve ever played.
This video should have a "My" before the title.. Witcher 3 cannot just not be on the list or even Skyrim for example. Great games with great storylines

Skyrim is a beautiful masterpiece but doesn't have that great of a story
@@Pulpos999 i really enjoyed the story, and not just the main story but the side activities too. They were all unique unlike most modern games, honestly I think anyone who's played it has fallen in love with the world of Skyrim, and its story.

@@donaldtrumpsupporter5143 Nope, it added more weight to Joel’s character and it clearly explains how world is so grey and cruel…it’s an only game the characters felt so realistic and they made a perfect job in humanizing the characters where it makes to care about antagonist in the end …also it’s a emotional roller coaster like for one moment I felt happy and then another moment I felt sad and depressed…I personally love part 2 over part 1…but it’s a personal opinion…

Best story, and not just modern games, you would have to include Tomb Raider, Resident Evil, and FF series. Even Metal Gear Solid but the PC releases were outdated. And what about BF: Bad Company 2?? ;)

Plague tale is very underrated, Kingdom come deliverance too it's a fun game to play

@@user-yd6bw3rz2f rdr 2 is definitely better, but some ppl don't like rdr2 because it's slow, but the story is the best and the world is so alive and tense. Ghost of Tsushima combat is really good, the story is not bad either.

Yeah, man, no one can make a top 5 rpg storyline list and exclude The Witcher 3.
(Torn between Cyberpunk 2077 and The Witcher 3).
Tbf, witcher 3 doesnt have the best story, i love it for its world, characters (dialogue and facial emotionss). But the story is pretty simple. Big evil guy from another world wants to take over your world. The villain is very mid honestly if there's anything i was dissapointed about witcher 3 is the antagonist.
Witcher 3 def wins best DLC though.

@froztout for purely the story, RDR2 was fantastic, far cry 3 was pretty good (mostly vaas tbh), What remains of edith finch was a rollercoaster of shock, Bioshock had very good dynamics, The last of us pt1.
Witcher 3's story (as in Geralt vs the wild hunt) wasnt very good imo, what made it good was the "filler" parts, him meeting his old friends, meeting the people, and the choices u make have a big impact on those characters (even when its not a clear good/bad)

witcher 3 main story is about doing side missions for people who can give you a hint for the main plot after like 10 hours of gameplay

There were many great written games in the 90's and in the 00's.. Planetscape Torment, Max Payne 1+2, Deus Ex, Vampire Bloodlines, Fallout 2, Grim Fandango, etc..

@@reenanilejay3532 this game belive or not brought the child out of me. No words for this Bend Studio, optimization at day, if you have a 2GB GPU i'll work but with few crashes but very rare and the render engine is up there with Fox Engine.

Let’s be real. Horizon was like a 4\10. The best part of the game is the opening. And the rest is straight bad. Story. Combat. Traversal.
RDR 2 was very disappointing. The whole story was:
Arthur:“We shouldn’t do this Dutch”.
Dutch: “Just one last time.”
Arthur: “Aw ok Alright”.
Literally this happens throughout the 70 hour campaign all the way till the ending (which admittedly was great). Add on crappy controls and this was not anywhere close to the experience it could have been.

@@bole3019 It just makes it very hard to empathize or put yourself in Morgan's shoes, when there's such a big disconnect between you the player and the character.
I also hated the outlaw system, where you could have an entire garrison after you within seconds. It was so unrealistic and didn't fit the simulation world they were trying to create.
So yeah many pain points and i was genuinely puzzled how many others weren't bothered by these.

Correct my guys I am Salty, I deemed the majority of the quests to be nonsense, it was a waste of my time. Now of course my philosophical take can be further elaborated. And no i don't think people are that 1 dimensional. I guess I couldn't relate to a person who thinks their actions were good when they were clearly not, or following a group of people I barely knew, doing life threatening things for people I didn't know. It's just GTA rockster story, I could never get into that story either, you're just trying to get rich, build an empire. This is where I think Breaking bad relates, their goals are to earn money, except Arthur i felt is blindly following this random dude. Who the fk is that? who is Arthur? and all the people he's with? Oh wow they have some redeemable qualities, no thats not a good enough motivation to play the characters or want to help these random people.
