A lot of these scenes would’ve really helped add to the first act in playing up just how bad his identity getting revealed was, cus I feel like that’s where it lacked the most
well the movie did that it just didn’t really show it affected peter on a personal level until his mother figure was murdered. this movie as great as it is, left a lot to be desired in hindsight

It probably wouldnt have been as bad for the other peters if their identity was revealed, what really did it here is that when his identity was revealed it was also stated that he had killed what people thought to be a hero, if his identity were revealed without this fact im absolutely 100 percent positive his life wouldnt have went down hill as much, he probably still would have gotten into MIT because he wouldnt have been labled a murderer, you get me?

@@ssskopssssskopss4031 Some people "ghostwrite" books, especially autobiographies. They have someone else write it and slap their name on it. The scene basically says that Flash basically did this because he can't even be genuine enough to write something himself.

I mean he can barely graft two sentences together if they don't somehow involve himself, lol, so he definitely wouldn't have known if she was in it. We were constantly shown in the first one that he isn't really smart enough to go to Midtown Tech. Homecoming and FFH both show his family is rich, so it's no stretch that he wanted to change his identity from rich bully to famous in his own way, even if by proxy, like a lot of these tiktokkers and youtubers that came from money. His livestream in FFH was full of paid bots, he was trying to be a kind of dj in Homecoming. He always was at Spider-Man's defense, makes sense that he wanted to claim to be Spidey's best friend and since he knows Peter won't beat him up and doesn't have the money to lawyer up and he didn't know what would happen before the identity reveal, he can now claim that. It's really subtle character growth. Also, he definitely paid someone to ghostwrite that book. Probably put in a few points for the book to hit on, omitting Ned and anyone who isn't himself, Spidey, and probably Iron Man and maybe Cap. Probably has a part in there that says he met Iron Man through his friendship with Spider-Man and Tony said for Flash to look out for Peter because he's so smart and brave and strong, lol.
How people never give Spider-Man good treatment for helping defeat Thanos is beyond me
I mean, he was just one of many people fighting against Thanos. So it's not hard to overlook it.
I mean, Doctor Strange definitely gives him his due at the start of the movie when he tells him to call him Stephen.

It’s not like the press were watching the spontaneous battle in Upstate NY five years after the Average broke up to see the second battle with Thanso.
And even if they were there Spider Man was moving faster than anything could fallow him.
It would really bother me if he was treating like a key player in the battle, it would feel like bad writing to me.

Glad to see more of him in school, it's kind of compacted way to much in one scene in the movie of just how Peter going to school was suddenly a big deal.
Honestly all the extra school bits I could've done without. Especially that extended section with all those unnecessary and unfunny interviews

The way Flash was portrayed in the interviews with Betty is so well acted, he's the only one that feels like it's accurate to how people actually react and even how he breathes, in these type of "60 Minute" style interviews. Hilarious! We need more of him!! Get him in the Agent Venom suit and let him cook.

The thief in the first clip was Tom hollands real life brother and Tom told the directors to make sure he ends up upside down so that he could spend the day upside down and see how much hard work it is and they ended up cutting the scene 🤣

the scene where Happy sat next to Matt, make me remember when Jon Favreau was played the role of Foggy Nelson in Daredevil 2003. He was side by side with Ben Affleck. My opinion, the movie did not only pay tribute to previous Spider-Man movies, but past Marvel movies too.

The three Spider-Man banter is already long and varied, and the commentary about Tobey's web was already done elsewhere. It drags on and doesn't really add anything.

The only thing I would've added/wanted is more interaction between Andrew with Tobey's villains and vice versa (we got Tobeh vs Lizard at least)
Kinda wanted to see Andrew's reaction that Norman is the Goblin just like Harry in his universe

Definitely would've cemented the idea that Goblin always hurts them the most and one way or another ends up taking someone from them (Harry for Tobey, Gwen for Andrew, and May for Tom)

Biggest crime in this movie imo
some of these scenes would've made no way home feel more like a 'Home' spiderman trilogy movie. it still felt true to itself, but some of these scenes like when he's recovering the money from that thief (who is tom holland's little brother irl) and then the students embarassing him scene would have been nice to kept in the final cut. the beginning of this movie felt a little rushed tbh, these little scenes would've been nice, and felt more like a spider man movie more than just a fantasy mcu movie. it did feel like a spiderman movie but these scenes would have been the icing on the cake. this movie is great but after watching this movie it just made me think you know
I agree, no way home felt very rushed and adding these scenes could’ve added the same high school/coming of age tonality that homecoming and far from home had.

Them being in lift was hilarious. 😂 They could have included that part. Only thing missing in that spiderman was these kind of moments. It was too fast paced and doesn't give audience enough time to relate with their situation.

The interview was a much better scene than the teachers giving a warm welcome to Peter.
If the MCU made this peter parkers origin story a movie first and then made a spider verse trilogy with the trio including the rest it would've been perfection. You know Maguire and Garfield would've been down.

Such a missed opportunity not having Rami Spider-Man say "are they like Fantastic Four or X-Men?" and Amazing Spiderman be like "or The Ultimates" when Earth-199999 Peter brought up the avengers.

They should have kept the daredevil scene in
I didn’t need the student interviews, that was a but silly, but I liked the rest of the scenes.
Clearly this wasn’t cut from the lab scene (I hoped it would have) but I would have liked Andrew’s Peter to talk about his best friend turning evil and his uncle dying (because that didn’t just happen to Toby). I know it was implied, but I think having it more clearly articulated would have been good. Toby got to express how those situations made him feel, but Andrew only focused on Gwen. I know it was important for his character to get some closure on that particular trauma. However it would have showed the similarities between Toby and Andrew’s Peters experiences.
Also there would have been a great opportunity to address what happened to Tom’s Peter’s parents and whether he actually had an Uncle Ben as well. I think in Far From Home Peter had a briefcase with Ben’s initials on it.
I REALLY needed a full in depth conversation between the three and tobys organic webs. I REAALLLLLLYYYY wanted it to be revealed they could all do it but they just... never tried hard enough.

Just watched spider man NWH in theaters. (June 3, 2024). Happy to say they included all of these scenes in the movie. Additionally, we got a sweet message from Toney Maguire, Andrew Garfield, and Tom Holland at the beginning of the movie ;)

I remember a couple weeks ago i went to the movies to see this movie because i couldn’t believe it was back in theaters and i couldn’t find anywhere where it was streaming and i saw these new scenes i was like “i don’t remember that??”
I would have loved this movie to be 2 part movies. The first movie could have shown us Peter's life after the revealing of his identity and him trying to prove he is innocent and the second movie could have shown us the multiverse things.
For a friendly neighborhood Spider-Man, I was disappointed there's no interaction between Peter and civilians after Doc Oc shows up in the movie. I think how different his life became would have made a very interesting movie and it would have fixed the movie's major pacing problem.
