One thing I don't hear people notice is that Andrew-Spidey actually kicks against the scaffolding ceiling to propel himself down faster than simply falling speed.
With Gwen Stacy, he was just in free-fall, which is why he couldn't catch up to her in time and could only web. But this time, he has that extra speed that made the difference
He also didn’t web MJ because when he did that with Gwen, the web stretched too far because of the large amount of gravitational force acting on the elastic potential of the web, resulting in Gwen smashing into the floor before being sprung back up a bit

They had such a great relationship. Even in everyday real life, it is easier to connect with those similar to you. With them being as similar as they are, they are basically related, so a brotherly protection was the best reaction they could have picked. It truly was genius.

One of my favorite scenes ever in this movie was when Tobey stopped Tom from killing Goblin, only communicating through his eyes. Because he himself as gone through the same journey, and he doesn’t want Tom to make the same mistake.
All it took was a look, and Tom understood it right away. Absolutely beautiful writing.

Tom has the newest and most flexible style and tends to shoot two webs at a time to catapult himself.
Toby kinda sticks to the lines and swings normally with one hand then the other. Old fashioned, but good, like him!

I know it's not true to the comics but I've always felt the natural webs that Tobey produces made more sense. Like, why wouldn't you get a spider's most iconic feature by default?
4:00 would make sense since Andrew's version kinda broke her spine after falling from a very high place despite saving her from being splattered. That just broke her spine or even something else at such force.
Also she still hit the ground with her head.
Im pretty sure her head hitting the concrete is what killed her. Otherwise she wouldnt have lost consciousness and worst case scenario wouldve just been paralyzed
@@xFurashux I mean her body snapped like that because of the gravity and momentum of which she was falling, and you can’t exactly just be perfectly fine at that point, basically a shit ton of internal injuries in a split second would occur, think about this way let’s add her weight (probably around 110) and the speed at which she is falling (idk about you but that was pretty tall tower let’s say by the time she got caught probs up to 45 mph) and when all that stops what do you think happened to her body? Scientifically speaking her internal organs would rupture and basically explode in a split second (she likely experienced 3-6 times her body weight all at once coming to a screeching halt), but yes she did smack her head on the ground resulting in her breaking her neck so to speak, but even if she hadn’t; unfortunately Andrews web would’ve killed her anyways. Just like in the comics, she doesn’t actually touch the water but when spidey pulls her up she’s dead.

Listen, the fact they COULD have had Gwen in here just to give closure to Andrew's Peter but for some reason chose not to 😭 she knew Spidey's identity, even if like the other villians she was technically un-alived, so the spell would also bring her back. I would have given my left kidney just to see them together once more, and she telling him he can move on.

4:00 i believe this is true for the canon Spiderman as well, after Gwen Stacy died from the fall on the Manhattan bridge (where it happened in the comics), Peter realised that using his his web to catch people would be more dangerous than catching them physically. Peter's spider physiology made him less susceptible to this because he's physically stronger. But the recoil that his web would cause, where the opposing force of the web pulling combined with the terminal velocity of the fall has enough energy in it to snap a human's neck. That's why he stopped using his web to catch people after that.

Andrew being the middle brother: That's not fair
true but his treatment by fans (both negative and positive) screams middle child syndrome; how the eldest (tobey) is beloved no matter what simply because he came first and laid the groundwork; and then the youngest (the baby) being the most impressive and the most active which means he still has stories to tell, stories people want to see. that leaves andrew’s!peter in the middle child, often not as acknowledged, not anyones favorite, and even if they didn’t have a problem with his performance he’s still place on the bottom of favorites simply because of the eldest and the baby; if anyone else- doesn’t matter who- came after tobey’s!peter they would’ve been treated the same, but if andrew came in third and introduces into the mcu the way holland was he would’ve been perceived as a great spider-man and instant fan favorite.

@@polaroized , I grew up watching tobey's spider-man movies, in my childhood, then watched Andrew's spider-man movies in my early teens. It was new to me, yes, but i instantly liked him as the character, and also saw the second film. I was completely shocked when i found out that people actually hated Andrew's depiction of the character, because i didn't know about it at the time.
I hope Tobey and Andrew will return in Secret Wars! Imagine the potential interactions and actions sequences!
For the fact that I spoiled myself by watching clips of no way home and I'm mad at myself but just want to say that all the captions are accurate😂 especially the oldest, middle, and youngest brother 😂😂😂 it's way too accurate. Not even to a fact that they are or have been acting in a way to their respective sibling role.
