i wish i had all my school lessons 20+ years ago available as a simple video, so I can pause and rewind. DUDE this is great knowledge drop, thanks for postin
Thank you for watching!!!
really nice to see some in depth chemical education videos on cannabis. This makes me want to do research on cannabis as well!
Can you make a cannabis terpene chart where it breaks down flavors, aromas, and effects?
yes!!! It is almost finished, and will be available soon!
@@thecannabisdoc where it be doc? Also, why don't you make videos anymore?
would absolutely love more videos on this! specially with people now more than ever realizing how important terpenes are!
Terpenes being solely responsible for the difference in perceived effects does not make sense doc. There are wildly different (effect) strains with nearly identical terp profiles (and very close in terp %). Far from believable. At this point mostly budtender lore
6:44 ... was that Bob from the chainzfr universe?
So, i was under the impression that "live" had to do with being "Decarboxylation/Activated". What does "Live" mean, like Live Resin and Live Rosin? -because apparently when i press rosin its "Live", but it is Not Decarbed and takes a lot of heat. What does "Live" refer to, in this context?
I would like to know what soil conditions or environmental conditions produce certain terpenes. like growing by pine trees and seeing increased pinene. And rotten downed wood giving more "earthy" terps. I would like to know about identifying the helpful mycorrhizal in the soils. Fish and bone meal produce certain flavors. Found different skunks produce there smell better in different places. Not all skunks want to be grown close to skunk cabbage. The island sweet skunk taste better on basswood bloom years. Why does the chocolope show better colors even in veg by an alkaline burning bush? Usually opposite more acidic soil better color.
I can’t find the first video
But are they down with OPP?
Terrific explanation of Terps. I appreciate the time you dedicated to this production 😃
Now I’m fascinated with how smell works and what to learn more about it. Terpenes fucking rock.
It's amazing how such a little molecule can have a large effect!
As a disabled vet you are amazing doc thank you
Thank you for the kind words! stay tuned for more very soon!!
Amazing video so informative thank you and big W for being here in Florida i definitely feel the program has improved so much and can’t wait to see how we can go up from here
Very good video
what the hell, this is the best video ive seen, im planting pines in my garden, my fiancee loves them
please do chemiesthesis and activation of 5th cranial nerve
ahhh yes. fantastic suggestion! on the to do list!! 🙌🏻🫡
@@thecannabisdoc I run Science and Education for cannabis dispos in Michigan. Love your vids! Think a good video explaining terps and trigem activation is needed within the community. Would love to see it thanks man
Boom!!! Thanks, your a beast!
Hi,
how would i know between synthetic and 100% organic terpene and terpenoid? and any ideas where to purchase?
Thanks a lot.
And with the right amount of temperature and pressure, you can precisely cut them out of the plant, just like freshly-squeezed orange juice.
It takes an extraordinary amount of power for the preservation of terps.
Great presentation Doc
Hi Michael, hope You are well. i am a paralyzed Veteran (U.S.ARMY Engineer; SAPPER), who now preaches the Gospel. i deal with both PTSD and a lot of Pain, and i am lwarning how Terpenes impact my Anxiety and Pain; It's been quite Amazing, and Our GOD Is Such a Great ARTISTS (and The Ultimate HEALER; Who Sovereignly Works through HIS Beautiful Ordained Means). How do i accomplish what You just explained? Seperating the terps!
While i understand some extraction methods, presing, decarbing, etc. How do i extract terps., esp. like squeezing oj?
Really good video
Thank you
Thanks.
Doc the info and presenation is second to none, learning a lot
I love to hear this thank you!
Could you please let me know what strains of cannnabis have a Dominant high strain of B-Myrcen and Linalool in it please for Anxiett.
most cannabis chemovars in the market nationwide and in florida have beta-myrcene as a dominant [rimary terpene, and linalool as a secondry terp and its less commonly seen.
Myrcene is present in most "strains" by default and this can be confirmed by looking at the certificate of analysis of the product. or have someone at the dispensary assist you with this
Great videos about terpenes sad that you have such low view count 🥲
