I remember seeing this while watching Cable TV at my Uncle Joe's House in Riverdale,Georgia in the Summer of 1979.

We had literally just gotten cable 12 days prior. Our town literally got cable for the first time June 1, 1979. Back then, you added a special reciever to your homes antenna to recieve it. You still got local channels OTA. The box was a small woodgrain cube with a small dial on top. With an even smaller dial beside it for fine tuning. The dial had 35 channels. You were lucky if you had 10.

My parents were behind the times when they first got cable in 1990, they had a similar wooden box with the 36 buttons on it, not the electronic black box receivers that with the red channel numbers inside the displays that could go up into the 80s. Keep in mind, at the time of this recording, there was no CNN, no USA network, no MTV, no Cinemax, no Movie Channel, no TNT, no Bravo, no TNN (what would later become Spike and now the Paramount Network), no A&E, no Weather Channel, no Pay-Per-View channels, no Disney Channel, no Lifetime, ESPN wouldn't launch for another three months, and Nickelodeon had just been on the air for two months and airing in limited markets and providers at the time. You probably had a superstation (what would become TBS or WOR or WGN), HBO, Showtime, maybe CBN, maybe a regional premium network like ON TV, the Z Channel, WHT, or PRISM, a short-lived experimental network, and not much else.

Did anyone preserve Road to Yucca Luna on tape? I vaguely recall it was brilliantly funny -- although I was quite young at the time...
