Yes horses are big, but they are not dangerous. I noticed one had a halter so that is a hint they are domesticated. As for eating your grass, they will never destroy the grass as they only bite the top off, unlike cattle that will pull it up by the roots.

I really loved the way you used the camera to peek into the model of the new plan for the living room...it really brought your concept to life!!! Well done!
Tips for thyme for next year. You can leave it in the ground for winter. It's winter hardy. I live kind of same place in neighboring country (Estonia) and I leave it in the ground. I've had the same plant for over 10 years. And extra sweet thing is that you can harvest it in the winter too. It stays green through the winter as it is evergreen plant like pines etc. I scrape it out from snow, take fresh cuttings as much as I need for one meal and cover it back with snow so the really cold temperatures cant reach it. Snow acts like insulator.
It's so, so, so amazing that this woman, just moved to the middle of a forest, and started constructing and renovating a house, with NO PRIOR experience of construction. I don't even know where you came up with the courage to throw all you got into this project. It is so inspiring. And I can only imagine the peace you experience everyday when you wake up and you think, yeah, the day is mine, and I get to build stuff.

Such a darling little model!!! Youre doing a fantastic job!! I've been kinda living your life in a vicarious way. I'm in my 70s. I'm caring for my husband thru his cancer, but I work out my stress, by tearing down our HUGE (12ft by 80ft, 2 level with bench seating) worn down deck. It's only 40 years old, so what could be worn out, right?!?!? The under side of the deck is finished, so the structure is like a shed for our tractor. The retaining wall down there has already collapsed, so I have to be careful. I'm also tearing out sagging shelves and damaged walls in our garage, taking off the sheet rock, removing nasty insulation, replacing everything, so I can paint everything fresh, in a durable bright white (yes, in a garage. 😁). Part of my problem is that my husband has just dumped, piled, stacked, everything in there, so I must move everything back and forth out of my way, to have room to work. I've cleaned and organized 'his' garage several times, but I guess he doesnt like it clean. I already made the new shelves and lumber support structure, so I can install them as soon as that wall is done. I'm also making a bunch of batches of homemade pretty artisan soaps, as they make great little gifts. I've been re-mourning the loss of my parents the last couple years. It's been exactly one year since my Dad passed. Time goes so quickly! I look at all the projects and progress that you have made, and it just makes me feel good to see your success!! Rosie, you inspire me, you motivate me, you comfort me! You are a special lady, and I think all of us out 'here' think of you as another family member, albeit from so far away. Keep going, Dear! Actually it's not that simple. A house has a year of construction and there were certain building regulations then. These building rules apply to the brick block. In the past, it was a common standard to brick a log with flues and the plaster was part of the gas tightness. The brickwork would thus have to be plastered. Usually, it should also not be built so that you can see if leaks arise. If you want to make significant changes to your fireplaces (including the flues), you must report it to the municipality. Then you must follow current regulations for fire protection. For example, it should be a significant change to the fire protection to remove the plaster from the brickwork at the flues. It is then mandatory to notify. A solution could be an insert pipe that handles the tightness problem in a different way.
Oh dear Rosie, your videos bring me such incredible peace. Thank you for allowing us into your home. It's a reminder of many years gone by for me. When I worked incredibly hard to rebuild a historic farm house with my husband and our family. You do absolutely beautiful work. Again thank you.

The cosmetic aspect is one thing . More important is to make sure your fire place/chimney itself is safe. The brick chimney, from the living room all the way to the top of the outside roof chimney, needs to be fireproof. If not, the correction/solution is to have an fireproof inner metal tube installed starting at the end of your box stove tube inside the living room all the way up to the top of the outside chimney. An inner chimney within the existing brick one. This essentially saves you ($$$) from having to redo the brick of the chimney . (Which is what I did in my old farmhouse).
I bought my son that same printer for his B-day this year. He loves it. Now, we are thinking of getting a second one. Have fun Rosie and thanks for bringing us along. It's like a mini vacation. ❤
14:52 ❤ if you spray the bricks with some white vinegar - it will help remove the moss and slime making bricks non slippery. ❤ works extremely well and it is nontoxic
I’m sure you never expected to find horses in your garden. They are very big. I understand the hesitation to be close to them. Thank you for taking the time to find the owners. I know they appreciated it.
The horses remind me of a visit to my now late mother then living in a stone cottage in the Cork-area in Ireland. One morning I open the front door and just outside stands a big sheep looking at me, like what? Never seen a sheep before? 😂

You have inspired me so much. I live on an old sailboat and I have started refitting it the way I want with my own 2 hands. I have my boyfriend help with wiring and electrical. But I have all my own tools now and I'm much more confident. Love from a 41 year old solo sailor woman in Canada.
We love you Rosie...❤ Rosie we had a similar stove in our cottage that heated the lower level. We had a fan that's specifically for these stoves. It's small, sits on top or on floor and dispersed the hot air throughout the space. It's small, but mighty, and actually works. They're expensive, but worth the investment...you will be even warmer!

Hi Rosie, I just happened to see your channel, wow you are such an inspiration..We just sold our house but we had such fun building a Sauna in the shead with woodburner. Treehouse for grandchildren. Pentry. We bought 6 old doors from a large old greenhouse and made ourself a small greenhouse which was really cute and plenty of room for tomatoes, chilli and more and table & chairs for afternoon tea or wine😉But the very best we built was a inbuild bunkbed, 3 beds in one! Really cosy and plenty of space in a guest/sewingroom. With a bookshelf inside the middle bed, curtains. We just looked at many ideas on youtube and tryed the best we could, had never build before but all was looking so good. I can really sence how you feel after an idea is actually in place. Wonderful feeling. Admire how you bike to get most things by yourself. All the best to you and your little house🤗
Gorgeous. I love your storytelling. Lovely vlog. A room to work and a room to snug. Fantastic. The big Sofa will fit in all the 220.000 of us, and I look forward to one of your parties.
Thanks to Bambu for sponsoring Rosie; their 3D printer sounds fantastic! Great to know the unit will notify you if there is a design error so that it can be fixed!
I know what you mean about using up all your small plates under plants. That was such a brilliant idea for your 3D printer and fit perfectly (of course!). I also loved the 3D tour of the new room. So easy to see what you previously could only see in your mind. What a wonderful tool.

Hello. Wow, this is the second time i watch all your videoes, but with even differet perspective now that I bought my own property in Sweden. Your work gives me so much inspiration to start renovating my own little cottage. You make it so simple and what impresses me is that you go for it even you ave never done it before, you just do it. Oh yes, that gives such a relief ..it doesnt have to be perfect. Thats FREEDOM. Thank you so much for sharing. Greetings from Norway. 😊
I loved this episode moving from one project to another - not unlike your other videos, but so interesting from you hair trim to preventing further damage from the mouse, to the surprising visit from your neighbouring horses! I've been away and just come back and realised how wonderful it is watching you work with what you have around the house to repair and complete with your projects. I love that you are so considerate with your actions - and caring for all your plants and bringing in the herbs so that they would thrive better indoors when it snows outside. Your choice of music and your filming with such care and attention to your environment - beautiful. You are such a work of art in motion, always moving forward manifesting your creative ideas, and taking time to improve your surroundings. Loving the chimney project and your 3D printed living room - always heightening the sensory aspect with your presentation and dialogue with your travels around your spaces - I can really smell the fresh scents from outside, and the cool softness of the changing season approaching the snow. The windows are truely a sweet part of the house character - I love that you have double glazed - almost effortlessly, but I know there is so much ongoing work in making them look and feel this way. Thank you! - really look forward to your episodes full of life and wonder, Rosie
I always look forward to the particular Sunday that your video will be posted. I love seeing the progress that you are making. What a surprise to see the beautiful horses in your yard. They were so pretty, but I am glad that you found the owner as I am sure they were wondering if they would be able to find them. Enjoy the upcoming week.

Rosie! Good job on making those overall pants you work in. I see you wearing them in so many videos. I would like to sew clothes for myself that I love to wear.
Love the surround couch idea! I’m guessing you are right-when done, this will be your favourite room. Looking forward to viewing the progression of this project.
Love the new brick look of the chimney, such a good idea! Also the 3D printed model of the living room , I could see how it's going to look and helped me visualise how a U shaped combination of double sofas in front of the fire place in the centre of the room would create an even more cozy look. But what I loved the most was the inspiration to finish painting the bits and pieces before Christmas. Rosie you are such a meticulous worker, it's a pleasure to watch.
When you are, say, sanding and then the video cuts away to snowy treetops while the sound of the sander continues, it is as though you are telling us "My work has now entered the meditative zone."

The close-ups, music, and drone views of the natural world are all so well done.. you are truly professional as an artist and videographer .. I look forward to your videos so much .. even re-watch older videos on the weekends when there is no new Rosie video to enjoy and be calmed by .. thank you for contributing calm and sanity and artfulness to the world.
You know BlueHorizon I have to agree with you isn't it just such a calming effect that Miss Rosie brings to us all sometimes I wish I could live close by just so I could help and talk to her she is such an Angel and so so very smart I am 70 years old and don't know half of the stuff she knows and I also watch some of the older videos just to listen to her and be calmed by her voice love all of you out there and God Bless ❤❤❤❤❤❤❤
That's what was installed when they put in the new wood stove :)
@@wildrosie yay, you can keep the brick look! It's great!
Haha that's brilliant! Have to say, finding sheep would be a little less intimidating as well :D
I just love going on this journey with you. Seeing the beauty all around you, paired with beautiful music is a joy to watch. Thank you.
The natural stone you uncovered is lovely. Hope you leave it
Actually it's not that simple.
@@Vinterfrid Nothing is ever simple. Good advice.
@@Vinterfrid I seem to remember she did the insert pipe already because it wasn't safe anymore, should be a video on that...
This was the only stress free 30 minutes I've had for weeks. Thank you. I feel like I need to hibernate in a remote cabin until spring.
You are the hardest working woman I have ever seen. You do an amazing job on your home. I love what you have done. 😊
I’m glad to hear you have neighbours,I worried about you out in the wilderness all alone! I thoroughly enjoy your videos!🥰🇨🇦
I totally love watching your dream being realized with your own hands.
You are a light in the collective Madness 🙏🙏🙏
I like the brick way better. Your channel is my favorite. I can’t wait for your videos.
Ich möchte dieses Video bitte mehrmals „liken“! Sooo schön. Toll gefilmt.
Das 3D Model erinnert an mich etwas an Playmobil. 😊😏
Ich bin immer wieder beeindruckt was du ,Rosie, alles kannst. Du bist so talentiert, in so viele Richtungen. Mit Holz arbeiten, Terrasse bauen, 3D drucken, Möbel wie dein Tischchen entwerfen, nähen, so wunderschöne Videos drehen…. . Ich liebe diesen Kanal. Danke, das wir dabei sein dürfen.
Would love to hear more of your experienced temperature change after putting in the double windows! It's so satisfying to see you make your home more and more comfortable and warm
The snow is SO gorgeous! And I love how you paired it with beautiful cello music. 🌲❄🎶
That 3d printed room is amazing! You should print a small Rosie to sit in it too
I love horses so I hae been thrilled by your horse adventure ☺ and I hope they left you some manure, excellent fertilizer for your vegetable garden 😉 in exchange for the broken glass pots ! Miniature living room, snow, haircut, fire in the stove ... what an enchanting video, I had been looking forward to it ... cheers from France 💜
As usual, your camera work is superb. The shots in through the window of the model was so cool!! Brought it all to life. Your creativity shines through all that you do. Love it!!
The aerial shots of your home and the snow is magical.
I love the exposed brick of chimney, just needs pointing and left au natural.
I love the model you’re making as you build, it’s almost like a Lego set of your house. So cute! 😊
You are a total genius and everyone's very interested in your life!
You did a beautiful job exposing the brick around the fireplace and cleaning it all up. I look forward to each video. Keep living a peaceful life!
Absolutely gorgeous video this week. To see and feel winter arriving at your cabin was breathtaking! Thank you! xx
Fantastic. The big Sofa will fit in all the 220.000 of us, and I look forward to one of your parties.
hahaha
Wäre mal gespannt aus wie vielen unterschiedlichen Ländern wir dann vertreten wären
Sehr spannend. Rosie hast bestimmt schon ein statistik dafür. Mal sehen was sie sagt.
I have never posted before, but I have watched all your videos and enjoyed them very much. I have to say how much I love this 3D model and how that truly makes your channel unique. What a wonderful way to whet our appetite for the coming videos!! Thank you so very much, Rosie, for taking time to make these wonderful videos to take us along your journey! Your enthusiasm always lifts my spirits!
Yes, i think we all love to watch Rosie’s videos, I am amazed at what she has accomplished.
I am always sad when your videos end and can’t wait to see the next one! Thanks for sharing your progress on your cute home.
Cool… you can build a whole dollhouse model of your house.
Cute horses. ❤
Who knew a run down Swedish cottage could look so pretty.
I actually like the brick effect on the chimney❤
That 3D model was amazing and made it so easy to visualize your plan. It's going to be such a cosy and snug room. Don't you just love that very first snowfall??!! The drone view of your little red house amidst all the white was so pretty.
I love everything you do. You’re so talented. Thank you for sharing your beautiful life.
I always love your music choices. A Rosie music channel would be a gift.
I keep rewatching this video just for the music and the scenes of the snow.
Love your coach room !!! Every body needs a room to cuddle up and rest in.
With plenty of soft furnishing!
Horses usually like your carrots and love your apples and attention. Great lawnmowing giants.
Rosie, your videos bring me there with you and I'm loving it so much, peace of mind in my hectic stressed out life. A complete breath of fresh air. Thank you for being you
Rosie you and your videos just calm my soul...thank you
I like the look of chimney just the way it is ❤
Living in the country always has surprises, like finding livestock in your yard.
Right, on your property and also in the middle of the road.
I love that you post on Sunday mornings…your videos are my favorite thing to watch with coffee🙏🏼
Thank you for sharing this video. You're windows look great. Perhaps the tired mortar build around the fireplace will open up new and unforeseen opportunities? I hope so. Your homestead is becoming a treasure.
Hello from Stockholm 😊 I’ve watched many of your videos again, and am Really Impressed by what you have accomplished 👏👏👏💪🏼💪🏼💪🏼😄 I hope you get the chimney fixed before it gets too cold! 😊
Fun little project for you Rosie. If you do add the bookshelves to the wall maybe add some USB ports and an inset wireless charger if your electronics allow for it. I think the chimney looks good without plaster, just do a little pointing!
this is my all time favorite channel. delightful. thank you for sharing. i have so much fun watching your videos.
I like the brick showing!
me too. Keep the bare brick - it looks great!

Love the natural stone. Keep it.
Yes, 👍

There is a metal pipe inside the chimney @@Vinterfrid
I LOVE that you make little 3D models of what you're planning! I build dollhouses so it's almost the same thing and it was so cool to watch you film inside your tiny room! Looking forward to more building projects! Happy winter season Rosie!!!!!
I'm a miniaturist also and it's fascinating to see Rosie do this.i don't build houses but furnish dolls houses and decorate them so I'm loving this.🏠
Thank you for bringing us along you are so smart and warm.I loved your reactions to the horses
Rosie. I love that you don't add a lot of music to your videos. Sometimes it detracts and can annoy, especially when it is repetitive.
I agree.
The music was epic, but the snow brought it to another level. I must say, i think your little house smiles when it gets that first blanet of snow. ❄️🏠🩵
I LOVE the modeling. Such a unique and fun way to show your plans (at least within my to-watch list).
I really so longed for a new episode. I love this Channel and to watch Rosies' amazing skills...especially when she starts one thing and all of the sudden flipps to 5 other in between projects before she really rocks the main thing..❤
What a blessing and how auspicious to have such beautiful horses 🐎 drawn to your home. Love them!! ♥️
Glad the horses did not get into your veggie garden. Sad about the damage, but hey! Free mowing! 😊
Rosie, your video was marvelous!! You are a genius! Your work is so beautiful. I enjoy watching you achieve your goals. The straightforward way that you accomplish things is so rewarding to watch. The joy you have for every aspect of your life is so admirable. Watching this journey of yours is so addictive. Thank you for letting us be on this road with you.
The little models are so much fun to see, and I adore the first snow, and first fire - it is so magical. Thank you for the new episode.
Every winter , I love to see how the snow makes you happy ! I miss the snow where I leave . As always, great video and wonderful work around your house.
For the horses or any farm 's animals, you can call the police. They will check out who owns a ranch or give you advises. Usually, in a small town everybody knows each other. Great video !
omg that last scene I just imagined Rosie being in her 70s doing the exact same thing in that window.
I look forward to your videos so much as I absolutely love watching the transformation of your house and all your amazing ideas. TFS your journey with us. ❤
