Growing up not really liking sweets, egg based dishes like eggs benedict and omelets are pretty much our alternative for savory breakfast dishes in the US. That or country fried steaks or regular steaks for breakfast!
Nah, on the Hispanic American side, we eat a nice big breakfast burrito or a nice plater of huevos rancheros( ranch styled eggs I think it translates to).
