i don't think it was the same one, no way they could have loaded up the car so fast unless they drove directly from track to truck. still really funny tho
@AussieRinger what tires are you running my guy ? I'm gonna be at the ring in about a month and want to pick better tires , something to be able to daily but also to gain some performance on track. Currently running stock 195/55/R16 please give me a recomendation to size but also to maybe a tire if you know some
"A bit" late to the game, but... How much do the anti spinn/stability control intervene? One of the few things that annoy me with my SLK is that i cant fully disconnect them, and buying another car with the same "problem" doesn`t feel right.
@@194Easy yes I am now aware of this. Cornering super hard I hear the beeping. It’s not aggressive like on modern cars so I’m pleased with it. Thankyou
Intereting, it sounds a lot like a VTEC hehe. I've just recently bought a 2002 stock Corolla T-Sport. Gonna have a set of HR coilovers put on it. Do you use stock tire/wheel size?
@@Nub00005 The engine can take 9000 rpm, that's not the issue though. The issue is oil starvation in high G-force corners. The oil pump isn't powerful enough, and combined with the fact the stock sump isn't baffled, it's a recipe for disaster on track.
@@nvl2691I have just bought a Corolla TS and I would like to enjoy it in track. What does it need to be reliable on track? I am thinking to change the gears of the oil pump with Toda or MWR ones, and put an 1zz oil pan on in order to avoid oil starvation. Is that enough for be reliable on track or does it need something else?

Pretty sure this car only has ABS & traction control. Electronic stability control is fucking dangerous. Don’t care what anyone says.

Late reaction, but i own one, and yes you can disable TRC. There is an button for it, it wont intervene in corners or with any sort of wheelspin.
Hi, which Corolla T-Sport do you have?
Birger Magnus Hebsgaard it is a 2004 facelifted 2zz-ge with a set of tein coilovers, ebc brakes and predator pads. K+N intake and DET3 ECU.

205-50r16 worked perfectly with AD08s. Yes, it's like VTEC but more unsuspecting from a Corolla.
What was your Tyre size?

Hopefully he's upgraded the oil pump.
guys this engine only splodes when you try to downshift into lift and you bang 9000 instead of 8000 rpms
