They'd need bigger denominations than that. The cost of the paper alone would bankrupt them. Do you have any idea how much 10,000,000,000,000,000,000,000 is?
@@Milamberinx Paper U.S. currency is usually only .11 mm thick and the observable universe is 8.8×10^26 m or 880 Ym wide, so I guess you need a different envelope. I came up with a stack 2.2x10^21m tall using my numbers. Nice try. Besides, I wasn't serious.
@@AndrewHalliwell Some people don't understand sarcasm. Are you kin to Dr. Sheldon Cooper?
@@jerrybrown4658 I did as Steve suggested and searched "Google Russia fine", there are sadly quite a few different versions of the number rolling around. I may have picked the largest for the comic lol factor.
Hey, Steve: can Google use this on their liabilities to avoid paying any corporate taxes?
25 Decilion dollar loss 😂
No because they haven't paid it.
It exceeds cumlative world gdp since the beginning of history to date and for the next million years and beyond.
I am waiting for the lawsuit against a dry cleaner for $25 decillion for losing a judge's pants.
The original fine was 100k Rubel (1400$)
With IRS-style interest and penalties, that comes to $25 decillion🤣 - will that be cash or credit?
Lehtoski Law, sitting in front of a shelf full of empty vodka bottles.
No problem! Pay em back in Rubles 😂
I can see the internet fracturing into regional blocks with increasingly difficult network gateways and firewalls to negotiate. There will not be an "internet" singular, but "internets" plural. It goes without saying that VPNs will be regulated out of effective use and censorship will be openly practised everywhere by corporations and governments, left and right. Like a social credit score pioneered by China and now likely to be replicated by other nations will be the Great Firewall of China, also pioneered by China. This will be seen as essential by every country as the entire world sits under the Damocles Sword of nuclear World War III and hysteria becomes "analysis". If you're not hysterical like everyone else then you will be ostracised and maybe unemployed, even in "democracies".
Actually, it’s about time someone went after Google for censorship.
Well, that seems a bit steep to me. With good lawyers, Google ought to be able to negotiable it down to a few quadrrillion.
RUclips has a right to deny service TO ANYONE THEY PLEASE.
yes and Google should do the same for many foreign countries
That's not entirely true.
Section 230 has provisions that social media platforms have to abide by.
@ From Wikipedia: “Section 230 does not contain any requirements that moderation decisions be neutral.” That means platforms have little or no limitation on what they allow on their platforms. This is a fundamental First Amendment right. The First Amendment right does not go to the users of a social media platform, it goes to the owners of the platform. It essentially means, “while you’re in my house, you’ll follow my rules.”
A back of the envelope calculation: if Google made a payment of the entire annual GDP of Earth every minute, it'd take over 46 times the current age of the universe to pay off. (fine amount / 2023 GDP (from CIA's World Factbook) / minutes per year / age of the Universe)
Thanks to inflation, the amount soon could be payable from petty cash.
If you think prices are high now wait. If Trump get elected and passes his tarriff plan watch prices rise. Many people think the tarriff will be payed by China and other countries, Wrong. US businesses pay the cost to the government. Simple logic higher prices businesses pay is passed on to the consumers.
I'm sure Google will be up all night worrying about that.
