Why doesnt this guy have more subs? This is a really high quality breakdown of the scene and the content is really digestible even for people who don't have a background in film making or cinematography. Great work.
Yeah, thought about the same thing. 360 cam, invisible selfie stick and some editing... I guess it wouldn't take 5 hours and you wouldn't need as much cgi
@@juandanielzhingrialvarado7760 I talked about 360. And don't worry. There are not only consumer drones and 360 cams, but also professional ones. Mixing cameras needs more time with color geading though to match it to the other footage. But I think a professional should be able to do that.
Ok all the filmbros here need to chill out. It didnt serve the story it didnt have substance bro its just hella cool and sometimes people do shit for its decorativeness and thats okay
i disagree. I think it served the story really well. SPOILERS AHEAD: To me it symbolizes the moment the game stopped being about the whole love triangle and all the history and everything and just became about one thing: the game. And that was represented by us being the ball. Plus the increase in pace, the music, the intensity. It perfectly heightens the intensity culminating in that awesome pull out to a birds eye view shot at the end showing the game as a game. So I think that it was both an awesome shot and one that served the film and story very well.
The fact that none of these comments are "COME ON!!!!!" means people probably haven't seen the movie :P Great break down of this scene. It was a really nice touch to the film.
I would have pinned the camera straight at the actor every time it went back, add some motion vibration to show speed, you can even rotate it 360 for a more intens shot. I didn't like the final shot. Great breakdown though.
As a tennis player, this movie had me surprised cause it had so little tennis. Major rules broken during the match, zendaya steals the movie(in the worst way) characters are feel detached from reality, the angles are odd at best. It felt like it tried hard to be cool. In the end, watching an actual tennis match has more substance
As a tennis player this movie was hard to watch. This scene is a perfekt example why. The idea of a POV Tennis ball isn´t bad in the first place but a tennis ball usually spins forward, so this doesn't feel realistic at all. Also the way the actors move feels just wrong. I didn't expect much and I was still disappointed.
so i'm a tennis player too, yes the ball spin forward but it would have been horrible visually ??? i agree that the players move unnaturally but this shot in particular is really cool
I have never seen the actual movie and only seen this scene for the first time in this video...I already HATE it! :DDDD "Cool"...maybe...ugly, irrealistic and vomit inducing...absolutely.
I dont like this scene. looks forced. not natural, not nice and realistic if you know something about tennis. And the actors movements is also very bad
I loved that scene, I think it was the most insane shots that I've seen in a long time!

I was in complete disbelief seeing you only have 1k subs. Your breakdown was great.
Still getting started with things, so I appreciate the kind words!
I would think an FPV drone with a 360 camera on it could pull this off

@@UwePieperI imagine the producers' face when you told them you aint using a profesional filmmaking camera but a drone cam for a blockbuster film

always on the love it side of this debate, however it did make me feel dizzy lol

Loved the scene. Loved the movie. Love how everything ties up to that kissing scene earlier in the film.
Need to watch this film tonight!

Here before the Trev channel blows up. Keep up the quality content!
super cool effect
it's Arri not Aria, but also not an Alexa LF. All of this bts shows an Arricam LT
I think he's just referring to the fact that they used it for CG plates, it's not in this BTS footage
Mark my words this channel is gonna blow up
Great video!

This channel seems promising
This movie was written by the same guy who did the Potion Seller video

loser's opinion 😊
This movie sucks and everyone knows it. Few admit it to themselves.
@@sky3_ow I be winning matches
You are 100% wrong
this channel is so underrated
I have to say, the sound of that scene is something too, sounded like their rackets are strung at 70lbs
Its both annoying and exciting
As a tennis player, the cinematography is excellent, but the actors have no clue how to hold a racket. They could've been taught in like an hour
The Wire did tennis ball shots first.
wouldn't it be more convenient to use a drone flying back and through. I mean just saying 😀

I hated this scene, hopefully the bts explains why it was so jarring and motion sickness inducing to watch.

must have been terrible in the cinema...imagine that in 3d?🤢
These scenes, while technically perfect, were unnecessary and did not serve the story telling. They were just annoying.
