Prosperity was all promised concerning Ishmael as outlined in the ancient Jewish scriptures, but salvation from sin only comes through the blood sacrifice of Jesus and his resurrection. Despite how both the Israelis and Arabs rejected Jesus, his coming had been clearly promised and inphatically prophosied hundreds of times in the Jewish scriptures. The 2 biggest may be Daniel 9 and Isaiah 53. Jesus' work was also symbolized in the ancient texts, which the Jews discredit, the same ones that foretold the prosperity of the Arab nations. One interesting foreshadow of the Christ was the sheep caught in the thicket when Abraham took Issac to sacrifice him before God, something Ishmael would have been happy with. But God stopped Abraham and provided a sheep caught in the thicket for sacrifice. Although the Jews still reject Jesus, his coming came through the wretched descendants of Issac, not of Ishmael. God did this because his salvation is not based on heritage or works, but the grace of God alone. To reject Jesus is to attempt to approach God on one's own sinful merit.

Indeed, he will return, and those who carry a cross for his sake will be free from such. But, this isn't about his cross; it is about his saving blood. Are you washed in the blood of Jesus? Are you cleansed from your sin, white as snow? Or do you presume because you adhere to ritualistic decrees such as not eating pork or not having a cross that the same sinful nature that plagues all humans hasn't also infected you. Tell me you've never, lied. Never had evil thoughts at the sight of a woman. Never stole anything. Never smoked or helped others get cigarettes. Never thought of hurting another person. Always stopped to help a stranded motorist.

Every weekends I used to visit a massive area of hydrophonics of tomato plantations run by Saudi-American couple. Dates plantations are very common produce which are the sweetest I ever tasted. Sheep herds are very popular managed by the Bedouins . The Saudi government encouraged the locals by paying each head of animals and every date trees as incentives thru the banks assistance like SAAB. Basically what they are doing is making artificial oasis at a large scale. Water recycling is also very important for a country like Saudi Arabia. Its such a finite resource that the best thing to do are these practices. MBS is smart in doing this. While I still believe oil will play a major role in the future with the onset of electric cars the best the prince can do is diversify the countries economy. This transformation happened almost a 2 to 3 decades back.I grew up as a child in Riyadh. The weather was very dry. Now Riyadh is becoming a little humid due to frequent rains and plenty of trees grown in the city. They have rulers who care for the welfare of the people.
When the economy was strong and populations was less around 1970's to 80's the King lavished money on the people. They didn't have to work at all. Those were glorious days. Land of milk and honey.

Why do they need to do this if they have so much water? Arizona cannot afford the water to spare for this. The prophet (pbuh) predicted 1400 years ago that Arabia will be full of tall buildings and will turn into meadows and rivers. People mocked him for his prophecies thinking he was crazy, at the time, they couldn't even imagine how that will happen. Now, its happening in front of our very eyes, completely explained by science and and with the help modern technology.

my own father was a farmer family in the 20s & 30s & 40s and he informed me 50 years ago how kansas, in usa had desert there as well and the sand would blow away and bury crops the peoples were growing. it was a massive problem for the farming industry. the federal government had to get involved and sent their government men out to their farms to teach the farmers a way to plant their crops to stop the blowing of the soils. it worked. if the people didnt pass along that information over these years, then all will be lost and will go back to the original problem. my father was a missouri farmer and they also had similar issues that were fixed. my fathers siblings moved to kansas and different parts of missouri.
