I missed you guys... Honestly, I love super poly. Even though you can't respond to it, with the way how crazy boards are nowadays I feel it's very much needed, especially with garura. Yes mine hacker needs to go, and I would leave updates hammer and access code alone for mathmech. It's a strong deck but I feel they need it with bystials out. Yes a lot of people don't use them but if you're running are chaos variant deck which a lot of people do including myself they will be running bystials. I'm running 11 of them since they blend well with my deck.
Also last take... I would leave spright alone. They are very very consistent but they're endboards are mid imo. But I do get the frustration. Everybody using this deck is also running runick also because of Josh, lol, but I do agree that the runic cards are a problem for most.

I'm not sure if Konami will ban Expulsion, but there are three distinctions between it and Incandescent that make the new fusion less powerful at doing the turn skip imo: 1) Expulsion can target 2 in banish to dodge Ghost Belle. 2) Incandescent being a monster means there's more points of interaction than with a trap card. In this case, it's really just Called by the Grave, but still. 3) The Branded extra deck is extremely tight, especially with Kashtira, so he might be pretty tough to fit in there.

A solid 1 is fine. It used to be that way many many formats ago. And it did just fine. Putting it back to 1 is actually a healthy and balanced move by statistics.
Hey my mans Circular didn't do nothing! Mathmech finally escaped the clutches of Tearelement only to be trapped in a meta with Bystials and Kashtira! He did the 1 thing 90% of Legacy support couldn't, he made his archetype meta relevant!
I would understand if it gets hit , the card is a custom card 😂 , I hope it dodges it since Mathmech is not considered a tier 1 deck but definitely top tier, but it could very well fall off with new set coming out bystials will be back in the format most likely and you know if you did crow the trap you win the game 😂
Runick is just the latest engine to play in a control/midrange deck and predictably combo players hate seeing a control engine that finally keeps up with them in resources. For real hitting the stun version is fine, don't mind seeing fountain/hugin go to 2 to stop the stun version being played but having naturia, fur hire, plunder being playable because of the runicks is fantastic

Like the list. Personally think they won’t touch Kash core before reprinting in Megatins. And think they will want to reprint Prosperity in Ultra before hit

Collosus isn’t coming back without an errata . Nemesis corridor lets you make it instantly in any deck easily . Unless it’s changed to you can only summon thunder monsters when it’s summoned or getting rid of its tribute to summon effect I don’t think so
the monster doesnt special summon from the banished zone which allows you to combat the strategy with bystals and crow while branded expulsion can avoid all of that if you manage to remove the gimmick puppet which requires almost 0 effort
I have been overdosing on the copium for misc to 3 since it got limited but honestly I’m kinda okay with it especially considering the dino support on the way later in the year…. But still misc to 3 plz 😅
My Dragon link Combo used to play around SuperPoly by using Silver on my turn, and then just banishing the SP target. But now when I look at the Extra Decks, I’m like ‘Dude, why are there SO MANY TARGETS’ and now my playing around SP no longer plays around SP.

thw only thing i really want back, the complete banlist could be anything, i would only care about one thing i just want Electrumite back yes i know the copium level is very high here. but you know it works in the OCG and Master Duel, i dont think it will cause Pendulum to be top Meta again, i think it will at best give pend some consitency again but yes i know propably wont happen😢

And for the ban lists I guess for Branded they should ban Branded expulsion since they will have more support on cyber storm access, I would say they would hit the gimmick puppet nightmare but we all know how Konami just go around the problem card instead of hitting it. Also I can see Branded Fusion and Branded Opening to 2 just to hit a bit the consistency of the deck. But still letting it alive for one more format and to sell Cyberstorm Access. In the Super Poly section I dare to say it might be a sacky one of? Maybe? The Kashtira hits I agree since is hard to play without zones. Got zoned!!!! Regarding Spright maybe Starter to 1 and Blue to 1 or 2?(Or maybe Jet since he searches any spright spell or trap. The part of Triples saying that Tops was joking “for legal reasons” killed me!!! And Pot of Prosperity will might be at 2.
For real, Colossus can absolutely come back, I really want to play a Thunder Dragon deck but I personally just have trouble justifying buying all those cards without the big boss monster of the srchetype
In my opinion, the format doesnt need the complete reset that this theorized list shows. Does diablosis need banned? 100%. Does branded expulsion need banned? 100%. Does anything need limited? MAYBE unicorn and/or fenrir. Does anything need semi limited? I think this is where Runick tip comes in, since itll hurt the consistency without killing the deck like hugin and tip to 1 would do. Mathmechs are only here for the short term, and branded could have other small hits. There are plenty of cards that can be brought off the list and be fine, but will konami do it? Probably not
Yea I have yet to hear a complaint about Mathmech beyond “circular reads like a custom card” which like it does but the playability of that deck prior was nowhere near relevant. Big problem imo with the deck is just making Accesscode in theory after opening just circular. Being able to punch for 10k off a string that starts from 1 card is not exactly super chill, but again this is a Update Jammer problem, not so much Circular imo. Maybe I’m wrong but I just want to hear the argument for it before making a definitive “yea limit circ” or whatever
They definitely gotta release gazelle cause there's confirmed for support for the fire duelist set he has too be freed either before or after it drops if they don't either there high crazy or literally gave us a card that's gazelle but better

I think hitting the consistency of decks is the worst way to do the banlist. That lets them do all the same stuff as earlier but it just feels sacky to play against and frustrating to play with. Branded fusion is slightly different for example because putting it to 1 takes away their follow up add off albion they sent on your turn, and they can't topdeck it in grind games. Spright starter is the same also misc + pank to 3 pls :)
I have noticed a theme for this video hating mathmech and runick as a mathmech player playing mathmech the one combo i do play is final sigma with alembertian and superfractorial and induction facedown
In the terms of dragon rulers coming back to 1 I think blaster is fine it would be a cool extender for fire attribute decks and certain dragon decks, redox is a maybe for coming back but tidal is a definite no due to foolish burial being an insanely good effect, but I mainly have ptsd from opponent drawing 6 cards of super rejuvenation
please dont do that to jammer, id like to keep my helmet squarely on besides i really dont think theyll hit it, mathmech is rogue and we're getting salad support later this year. update jammer was a key part of the deck during TOSS (unless of course they get the ability to otk without it).
as someone who plays fun decks and has no problem on master duel beating tear with a harpie/blackwing hybrid i can tell you right now most casual and a lot of rogue can't beat colossus alot of these decks need to search search search so this card can never come back.
I say pot and graceful and dimension fusion return from a different dimension and heavy storm can come back at 1 not like we can't negate any of them especially in todays format

See I feel like hitting consistency in decks just makes decks feel worse to play without making them feel better to play against. I don't care if kash gets to ariseheart consistently every single game as long as they can't zone lock. I don't care if mathmech can set up their board every game as long as that board doesn't end on an Omni negate plus draw 2 off heatsoul plus full combo in hand to go update access on the next turn. Branded can fusion every turn, that's fine I don't care, as long as they aren't locking me out of my plays with gimmick puppet knightmare. Hitting consistency just makes decks feel worse to play, but your opponent still hates it when you get to the full combo and it's not like it's fun at all if you just brick and I otk you turn 2. Ban the floodgates or floodgate enablers, you can maybe limit a card like starter or fountain in a deck that has insane consistency anyway, but don't make a banlist where you're just making decks feel sacky when they pop off and completely dead when they don't.
Ok based on the matchmech stuff and update jammer I can tell you guys are facing some matchmech player topping at locals because those seem very specific.Update jammer I guess it helps acesscode but if they’re going that far by then it’s probably too late. If your opponent’s going into acesscode and attacking you like that it’s already an issue if you didn’t stop things beforehand.
Um no, we’ve been to a 3500 player YCS and 3 regionals. Mathmech won 2 regionals last weekend, topped in a YCS, and is EVERYWHERE. Y’all think we make stuff up but we are at events EVERY weekend. We see everything. Circular going to 1 isn’t a big deal.
@@CrushCards I guess that’s just not what I’m facing much. I know mathmech is a good deck and does well but it’s not played as much or as much of an issue as kashtira or runik. It can put up a strong monster in acesscode and do a ton of damage. But it doesn’t really have many negates or things that stop the opponent.It’s got a cconsistent win condition but not one with much variety and options.Just look at the ycs London top 32 match for the matchmech vs kashtira it was just one sided . You Nibiru that boss and it’s over. It plays a lot of its mathmech monsters to get into its boss monsters and get them with high attack but it doesn’t have any real spells or traps to get back into the game .I’m not saying it’s not a good deck but it’s not doing enough damage to get hit and it’s line of play while consistent don’t have much variety compared to some other decks.

1. I kind of like the branded lost hit. Not being able to respond to things on a fusion summon is annoying. 2. Spright Starter to 1 doesn't do ANYTHING to Sprite. Some decks are already only playing 1. 3. Fountain to 1 is a lot better than Hugen and or Tip to 1.
Here's the issue with Harp at one: Girsu is at 3. Girsu is already a great starter for Orcust and giving them Harp could mean Girsu gets hit. But I could expect them doing it anyway. We have the opposite ratios in Master Duel so it COULD happen. I don't agree completely but it wouldn't surprise me too much.
Another card I wish they semi-ed is Sekka's Light. You could argue that it is another Pot card and it does restrict you a LOT more in order to use it. But it could be a me thing.
Personally, I'd say that half of the cards on the banlist could come off the way they are, and it wouldn't be an issue having them at 3. There's the Exodia limbs, all of the Dragon Rulers except for maybe Tidal, everything Pendulum related minus Electrumite, Fiber Jar, Self-Destruct Button, all of the tuners that died for Halq, everything that's Semi-Limited except for Malicious, and etc etc.

In all reality: I agree with most, if not all of your guys bans and unbans, and I think you could hit Branded Opening, Aluber, AND Branded Fusion to 2, or maybe knock, like, Aluber to one and hit Opening and Fusion at 2 and that would be a solid hit to the deck without, like, killing it entirely? As much as I fear Nemesis Corridor into Colossus in every deck to stun people from searching, I don't think it's a viable enough reason to keep Colossus off the banlist.

I understand most of the hits, but don't be putting Circular to 1. The deck in fact dies to multiple forms of interruption that decks like Spright, Kash, and Branded all have in there own right. Yes Circular is a 1 card link 4, but then again multiple interactions cause the deck to just fold. Cards like Ash/Imperm/Veiler/D-Shifter all make the deck just scoop. The only real broken card I could see maybe getting hit out of Mathmech is Laplacian. The card is basically Trishula at home. And can become an omni negate with Diameter used to its XYZ summon. Harp to 3, Colossus can chill banned (sorry but no). Engage stay at 1, Gazelle to 2/3 (I don't think Salad with 3 Gazelle will do anything... again... I hope). Spright in my own opinion is fine where it stands, but maybe Starter to like 2 seems fair, maybe Blue to 1. Branded, Aluber to 1 seems fair to me to be honest, and lost banned = copium. Expulsion though I could see getting banned to promote product. Update jammer ban sounds like copium. Skill Drain to 1 sounds absolutely fine, card is downright oppressive game 1, then sided back in for game 3. Prosperity to 2, seems like a whiff of copium, but idk Konami makes the decisions and I can't stop them. Now a hot take, Shangra-Ira to 1. Makes absolutely a lot of sense due to the fact its not once per turn, and 2 just locks all your zones, then top it off with Arise-Heart. Mind Hacker getting banned sounds honestly fair. Sorry for the long rant about the possible hits, I love your channel. Keep making awesome content!
Ancient fairy dragon needs another printing and unload a ratta the stupid errata to make it to its original printing whatever they are at a card they change it and they roommate cards are printed once and that should be the ruling in those cards permantly and never change and make him weaker or stronger put ancient fairy dragon back to its original affect
I don't agree with both superpoli and update jammer. Superpoli is just used in Branded and Heros, which aren't used in any top tournaments. Also update jammer would be a serious problem if it was playable in any deck, not just in Cyberse. The only good Cyberse deck is Mathmech as we all know but it's only good because of Accesscode + Jammer's OTK. Of course Final Sigma is a good OTK card but the problem with Sigma is that it's a lv 12 Sychro, so it's hard to summon it on turn 3, with all Link monsters on the field (as Mathmech's combos are based for 3/4 on Link summoning to make I:P to make a Apollousa). Infact Final sigma is good only if it's placed on the Extra Monster Zone, because of its effect, but since during the opponent's turn we are going to summon Apollousa or Unicorn or Avramax, we need that zone for these important link monsters, and we cannot replace them with Sigma; they're just more important than him. All of this means that, if Konami puts Jammer at 0, Mathmech is dead: it cannot otk on turn 3/4, also u cannot survive more than 3 turns with mathmech since u only play 1 superfactorial and 1 laplacian, which are used in turn 2/3. I agree with Diablosis and Branded spell and trap being banned because of their toxicity, I also agree the limit on the spright cards perfectly as u said and I also agree on Runick's limits Moving to the limited cards, I don't agree with both Fenrir and Unicorn to 1 because that would kill the deck. Instead I would put them to 2 and then semi-limit or limit to 1 the field spell which allows a 1 card combo. Moving to Mathmech, I don't agree at all with Circular limit, instead I could accept at most a semi-limitation of Circulat because the deck is dead if u don't run Circular and also Mathmech is dead if u can delete the GY control of your opponent playing mathmech. Againts decks like Kashtira and Floo it becomes a dead deck.
I don't think I agree with nailing general consistency cards like Prospie or something, or hitting every good deck's consistency. Because at the end of the day, what you're advocating for is more games where people brick and therefore do not play the game.

Incandescent will be played 100% guaranteed. And literally nobody plays Belle anymore that’s why expulsion is so broken.

Collosus isn’t coming back without an errata . Nemesis corridor lets you make it instantly in any deck easily . Unless it’s changed to you can only summon thunder monsters when it’s summoned or getting rid of its tribute to summon effect I don’t think so

the monster doesnt special summon from the banished zone which allows you to combat the strategy with bystals and crow while branded expulsion can avoid all of that if you manage to remove the gimmick puppet which requires almost 0 effort

My Dragon link Combo used to play around SuperPoly by using Silver on my turn, and then just banishing the SP target.
But now when I look at the Extra Decks, I’m like ‘Dude, why are there SO MANY TARGETS’ and now my playing around SP no longer plays around SP.

And for the ban lists I guess for Branded they should ban Branded expulsion since they will have more support on cyber storm access, I would say they would hit the gimmick puppet nightmare but we all know how Konami just go around the problem card instead of hitting it. Also I can see Branded Fusion and Branded Opening to 2 just to hit a bit the consistency of the deck. But still letting it alive for one more format and to sell Cyberstorm Access. In the Super Poly section I dare to say it might be a sacky one of? Maybe? The Kashtira hits I agree since is hard to play without zones. Got zoned!!!! Regarding Spright maybe Starter to 1 and Blue to 1 or 2?(Or maybe Jet since he searches any spright spell or trap. The part of Triples saying that Tops was joking “for legal reasons” killed me!!! And Pot of Prosperity will might be at 2.
Circular to one? You literally only need one, is really easy to find. If anything you can just add more board breakers and handtraps if it gets hit.

For real, Colossus can absolutely come back, I really want to play a Thunder Dragon deck but I personally just have trouble justifying buying all those cards without the big boss monster of the srchetype
In my opinion, the format doesnt need the complete reset that this theorized list shows. Does diablosis need banned? 100%. Does branded expulsion need banned? 100%. Does anything need limited? MAYBE unicorn and/or fenrir. Does anything need semi limited? I think this is where Runick tip comes in, since itll hurt the consistency without killing the deck like hugin and tip to 1 would do. Mathmechs are only here for the short term, and branded could have other small hits. There are plenty of cards that can be brought off the list and be fine, but will konami do it? Probably not
Yea I have yet to hear a complaint about Mathmech beyond “circular reads like a custom card” which like it does but the playability of that deck prior was nowhere near relevant. Big problem imo with the deck is just making Accesscode in theory after opening just circular. Being able to punch for 10k off a string that starts from 1 card is not exactly super chill, but again this is a Update Jammer problem, not so much Circular imo.
Maybe I’m wrong but I just want to hear the argument for it before making a definitive “yea limit circ” or whatever

I think hitting the consistency of decks is the worst way to do the banlist. That lets them do all the same stuff as earlier but it just feels sacky to play against and frustrating to play with. Branded fusion is slightly different for example because putting it to 1 takes away their follow up add off albion they sent on your turn, and they can't topdeck it in grind games. Spright starter is the same

In the terms of dragon rulers coming back to 1 I think blaster is fine it would be a cool extender for fire attribute decks and certain dragon decks, redox is a maybe for coming back but tidal is a definite no due to foolish burial being an insanely good effect, but I mainly have ptsd from opponent drawing 6 cards of super rejuvenation

besides i really dont think theyll hit it, mathmech is rogue and we're getting salad support later this year. update jammer was a key part of the deck during TOSS (unless of course they get the ability to otk without it).

as someone who plays fun decks and has no problem on master duel beating tear with a harpie/blackwing hybrid i can tell you right now most casual and a lot of rogue can't beat colossus alot of these decks need to search search search so this card can never come back.

See I feel like hitting consistency in decks just makes decks feel worse to play without making them feel better to play against. I don't care if kash gets to ariseheart consistently every single game as long as they can't zone lock. I don't care if mathmech can set up their board every game as long as that board doesn't end on an Omni negate plus draw 2 off heatsoul plus full combo in hand to go update access on the next turn. Branded can fusion every turn, that's fine I don't care, as long as they aren't locking me out of my plays with gimmick puppet knightmare.
Hitting consistency just makes decks feel worse to play, but your opponent still hates it when you get to the full combo and it's not like it's fun at all if you just brick and I otk you turn 2.
Ban the floodgates or floodgate enablers, you can maybe limit a card like starter or fountain in a deck that has insane consistency anyway, but don't make a banlist where you're just making decks feel sacky when they pop off and completely dead when they don't.

Ok based on the matchmech stuff and update jammer I can tell you guys are facing some matchmech player topping at locals because those seem very specific.Update jammer I guess it helps acesscode but if they’re going that far by then it’s probably too late. If your opponent’s going into acesscode and attacking you like that it’s already an issue if you didn’t stop things beforehand.
Um no, we’ve been to a 3500 player YCS and 3 regionals. Mathmech won 2 regionals last weekend, topped in a YCS, and is EVERYWHERE. Y’all think we make stuff up but we are at events EVERY weekend. We see everything. Circular going to 1 isn’t a big deal.
@@CrushCards I guess that’s just not what I’m facing much. I know mathmech is a good deck and does well but it’s not played as much or as much of an issue as kashtira or runik. It can put up a strong monster in acesscode and do a ton of damage. But it doesn’t really have many negates or things that stop the opponent.It’s got a cconsistent win condition but not one with much variety and options.Just look at the ycs London top 32 match for the matchmech vs kashtira it was just one sided . You Nibiru that boss and it’s over. It plays a lot of its mathmech monsters to get into its boss monsters and get them with high attack but it doesn’t have any real spells or traps to get back into the game .I’m not saying it’s not a good deck but it’s not doing enough damage to get hit and it’s line of play while consistent don’t have much variety compared to some other decks.

1. I kind of like the branded lost hit. Not being able to respond to things on a fusion summon is annoying.
2. Spright Starter to 1 doesn't do ANYTHING to Sprite. Some decks are already only playing 1.
3. Fountain to 1 is a lot better than Hugen and or Tip to 1.

Here's the issue with Harp at one: Girsu is at 3. Girsu is already a great starter for Orcust and giving them Harp could mean Girsu gets hit. But I could expect them doing it anyway. We have the opposite ratios in Master Duel so it COULD happen. I don't agree completely but it wouldn't surprise me too much.
Another card I wish they semi-ed is Sekka's Light. You could argue that it is another Pot card and it does restrict you a LOT more in order to use it. But it could be a me thing.
Personally, I'd say that half of the cards on the banlist could come off the way they are, and it wouldn't be an issue having them at 3. There's the Exodia limbs, all of the Dragon Rulers except for maybe Tidal, everything Pendulum related minus Electrumite, Fiber Jar, Self-Destruct Button, all of the tuners that died for Halq, everything that's Semi-Limited except for Malicious, and etc etc.

PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF GOD DON'T LET THAT DRAGON OFF THE LIST!!! I still have war flashbacks thinking about those Dragon Rulers and getting Blaster'd every turn. I know that it's gonna do nothing, but for my own personal spite let it and its brethren rot on the banned section of the list.
Also I would really like Konami to do something about Super Poly. It's just unfun to play against right now and cripples so many rogue strategies. I don't think it needs banned but maybe a limit?

In all reality: I agree with most, if not all of your guys bans and unbans, and I think you could hit Branded Opening, Aluber, AND Branded Fusion to 2, or maybe knock, like, Aluber to one and hit Opening and Fusion at 2 and that would be a solid hit to the deck without, like, killing it entirely?
As much as I fear Nemesis Corridor into Colossus in every deck to stun people from searching, I don't think it's a viable enough reason to keep Colossus off the banlist.

I understand most of the hits, but don't be putting Circular to 1. The deck in fact dies to multiple forms of interruption that decks like Spright, Kash, and Branded all have in there own right. Yes Circular is a 1 card link 4, but then again multiple interactions cause the deck to just fold. Cards like Ash/Imperm/Veiler/D-Shifter all make the deck just scoop. The only real broken card I could see maybe getting hit out of Mathmech is Laplacian. The card is basically Trishula at home. And can become an omni negate with Diameter used to its XYZ summon. Harp to 3, Colossus can chill banned (sorry but no). Engage stay at 1, Gazelle to 2/3 (I don't think Salad with 3 Gazelle will do anything... again... I hope). Spright in my own opinion is fine where it stands, but maybe Starter to like 2 seems fair, maybe Blue to 1. Branded, Aluber to 1 seems fair to me to be honest, and lost banned = copium. Expulsion though I could see getting banned to promote product. Update jammer ban sounds like copium. Skill Drain to 1 sounds absolutely fine, card is downright oppressive game 1, then sided back in for game 3. Prosperity to 2, seems like a whiff of copium, but idk Konami makes the decisions and I can't stop them. Now a hot take, Shangra-Ira to 1. Makes absolutely a lot of sense due to the fact its not once per turn, and 2 just locks all your zones, then top it off with Arise-Heart. Mind Hacker getting banned sounds honestly fair.

Ancient fairy dragon needs another printing and unload a ratta the stupid errata to make it to its original printing whatever they are at a card they change it and they roommate cards are printed once and that should be the ruling in those cards permantly and never change and make him weaker or stronger put ancient fairy dragon back to its original affect
I don't agree with both superpoli and update jammer. Superpoli is just used in Branded and Heros, which aren't used in any top tournaments. Also update jammer would be a serious problem if it was playable in any deck, not just in Cyberse. The only good Cyberse deck is Mathmech as we all know but it's only good because of Accesscode + Jammer's OTK. Of course Final Sigma is a good OTK card but the problem with Sigma is that it's a lv 12 Sychro, so it's hard to summon it on turn 3, with all Link monsters on the field (as Mathmech's combos are based for 3/4 on Link summoning to make I:P to make a Apollousa). Infact Final sigma is good only if it's placed on the Extra Monster Zone, because of its effect, but since during the opponent's turn we are going to summon Apollousa or Unicorn or Avramax, we need that zone for these important link monsters, and we cannot replace them with Sigma; they're just more important than him. All of this means that, if Konami puts Jammer at 0, Mathmech is dead: it cannot otk on turn 3/4, also u cannot survive more than 3 turns with mathmech since u only play 1 superfactorial and 1 laplacian, which are used in turn 2/3.
I agree with Diablosis and Branded spell and trap being banned because of their toxicity, I also agree the limit on the spright cards perfectly as u said and I also agree on Runick's limits
Moving to the limited cards, I don't agree with both Fenrir and Unicorn to 1 because that would kill the deck. Instead I would put them to 2 and then semi-limit or limit to 1 the field spell which allows a 1 card combo.
Moving to Mathmech, I don't agree at all with Circular limit, instead I could accept at most a semi-limitation of Circulat because the deck is dead if u don't run Circular and also Mathmech is dead if u can delete the GY control of your opponent playing mathmech. Againts decks like Kashtira and Floo it becomes a dead deck.
I know it will never happen but I want graceful charity to one!!!!
