"The batman who laughes" was jokerised he doesn't count as he's not in his right mind like the joker, "DCAU batman" is just as -fucked- as the rest of them even superman killed people, But there in the worst timeline of there universe so it makes sense, and Thomas Wayne was an old man when his son Bruce died so he didn't have the time or energy and possibly couldn't train his whole life like Bruce did to learn to control his anger and he couldn't fight like Bruce either so that left "guns" as his only option....... stop cherry picking stuff that can be explained if you know the lore.
