Looks like a cool place to ride, I've been noticing a lot of decent motorcycle related content coming from your neck of the woods. Even a couple custom shops doing cool bikes
hats off for himalayan guys. What a great riding. I think the CBR wala using same soap for bathing as well as for cloth washing. coz he doesn't know which bike use to where ;)
Tiger can perform brilliantly in these conditions, provided:#1 Legs need to be on foot-peg, rider should stand & ride, with only one leg coming off the peg when required. (Rider's legs were hanging all over the place every chance he got).#2 Throttle control. (Rider had to finish braking and get a firm control back on throttle before the puddle he went down on, again, all while standing. Cover the back brake). Nevertheless, looks like all riders had fun. Happy riding..
Skanda S G , Hi. Yes I did face a lot of issues with the bike. All faulty parts replaced, the bike is much better now. Only issues I face is the leaking cylinder head and crank case and the really light handlebar that bends on each slow fall too....lol. Besides all these, the bike is fairly good. I mean, what could I expect on a bike under 1.7 lacs . The B4 will definitely be a more refined machine with FI. Go for it if your primary ride is not is not gonna be in areas of congested traffic. Also note the present Himalayan delivers close to 22-25 kmpl. All the best, ride safe and hard !!!
good to have found your channel.. very few good offroading vids from India.. Uttarkhand is a beautiful place.. good luck to Anshuman but he will enjoy as well.. weight is a hugh negative for that bike.. don't get into the Vlog trap and keep vids on offroad rides .. subbed
you are really skilled for no roads.. hats off! and your friend on the cbr is also a good rider... i would never imagine going onto such roads with a cbr.. kudos!
You did great job... doesnt matter whether its himalayan or tiger you can ride easily.. bike is just a medium main thing is out mind if it rule our body it can drive anything .. just like you so moral if the story is ... whatever bike ansumann will ride he will repeat same mistake again and again till he is not aware of subject... in other words its insult to tiger and for you hatsoff .. you are making dead machine alive which are out of production at present... keep rocking
Hi Mohit, Firstly thanks. Tour comment means a lot. I get your drift . Anshuman will ride really well one day and sure, and I'll get better as well. You too ride safe buddy and ride hard ! Bikes like tiger 800 and higher bikes are heavy for off-road riding. One needs a lot of riding and taming of these bikes to enjoy then, and considering the cost of these bikes,we Indians hesitate to do so even if we own the bike . Himalayan is a good throw anywhere bike in such regard and that's the reason I am happy with the bike. I am desperately waiting for the KTM 390 adventure and also trying to get a used DRZ 400 if possible. Hope I get lucky ....
Mohit Sharma the only thing that matters is if your an Indian, then you can be on a bike that rides itself and you will still fuck up because Indians cant ride for shit
Hi Nitish, oil leaks are royal enfield's prodigy. Can't run away from them lol. No hard shifts and the last few batches we're quite trouble free. Fuel injected should be even better.
GrimRider true i bought mine and next day it started marking it's territory still having few issues with it but overall a great machine oh btw you are an excellent rider I really enjoyed your videos.
Thanks Nishant... It's a good bike no doubt. Bang for the bucks if u know why you're buying it. Thanks for the compliment, hoping to buy a mic assembly soon for better vlogs
Awesome driving skills you both have, planning for a new bike, confused between Himalayan or dominar. Need to know my priorities first before buying a beast
Teri himalayan pehli Himalayan hogi jisko jis liye banaya hai wo actually kar rahi... Baaki saare to bas "touring" waali bakchodi karte aur bolte himalayan is underpowered and has lots of issues.
Saddle height, overall rider height also play a major role as I can see. Imagine if the cbr guy was not long enough to have both his feet so comfortably on the ground, even he would have faced the problem. I guess lowering the ride height( tiger is pretty customisable) and some more offroad time will turn the tiger owner into a pro in no time
Yes a seat height of 840mm is definitely on a tad higher side. More over, these costly adventure 'tourers' aren't really good at this stuff. Prefer a lighter , cheaper Himalayan to throw around anytime. A lot of factors come into play as you rightly said, including rider's willingness to exploit himself...I dont think he would hol on to the Tiger for a long time
Hi Robert, indeed wrong tires they were. He later switched to Haidenau K60 ,50/50. Have a vlog up by a similar name "this triumph tiger goes offroad again " where he runs K60.
Please tell your friend with the Tiger that in order to have control of the bike he must keep his feet on the pegs and leave the front brake alone. The mighty Royal Enfield leads again!
Hi ground owl ! Well, that's not me on the tiger. Also yea, there are two more videos where this friend of mine rides with K60 Scouts . Impressive tires off-road
firstly the triumph guy is short for the heavy bike .secondly he seems inexpirienced for a big bike.he should have practiced offroading on a smaller bike like impulse.also cbr seems to be a dark horse.
#Grim Rider . The Tiger guy was overconfident and he was going too fast according to the terrain . & As you said 'Engage the clutch@ half and twist little throttle' bro it will burn the clutchplates for sure. Never do that
Bihari Biker , all the time half engaged clutch, yes. But think about it , this practice is unavoidable. Africa twin - to handle off-road in DTC has the G-mode to replicate half clutch action. With power like this, one can't always let go the complete clutch and accelerate in first gear. I can't even on a Himalayan. Just my thoughts and experience. Btw, you would like to check - Chakrata - Deoban 9200ft off-road ; and This tiger goes offroad again . We have Anshuman there again with a new set of tires, and he does well :)
true that on the half clutch thing. never do that. not for clutch sake but because you lose traction. will post my zorzilla video...death on right side n no clutch
Hi! sara . Both are pretty much different bikes of the same genre . Tiger is a much more comfy long distance tourer with loads of power on tap for two up and luggage doing 100mph all day But ! It's 50kgs heavier, taller and much more expensive to own and maintain. Himalayan on the other hand has just enough power to get the job done . Does about 65mph comfortably. Not much juice in there for pillion + luggage. Can't really power slide . But there's barely anything to break off. Throw it, smash it- it takes it worth hurting your pocket. Low seated height of 800mm and a pretty good ground clearance with decent suspension. It's more peace of mind offroad .
Wow! Amazing route and very well captured! Quick question. Would you say that the Himalayan is much easier to ride than the Tiger on such terrain, both being off roaders?
Hi ! Anyway it is. These big bikes are better for long adventure tours than offroad as these are quite heavy. Himalayan is better only because of its lighter weight which is always a boon. Tiger also is the less off-road oriented bike than it's similar competitors like Africa twin, F800GS, 1050R. I wish we had a bike under 170 kgs with 35+ bhp available. Would be a hoot to adventure ride.
bro loved ur vid. again ride+route ausm. looking forward to meet u some day. may be a off-road ride. what's ur views about Himalayan? haven't u faced any issues?
EngineerByDefault, Haha, sure buddy! Thanks . Yea, have faced almost all possible known issues with the Himalayan like oil leaks, engine noise, parts breaking off, faulty console, headlight problem, T-stem problem and a lot more... but then do people like me who like adventure riding have a choice ( budget- Ahem!!!) ? Only if someone would donate me enough money to import Suzuki DRZ 400...lol
exactly budget problem. but being a guy from middle class family and buying the himalayan is also a big pain in the ass. i fell in love with the bike the moment my eyes fell on it and i still do. but those breakdowns just break my heart. feels like i am in a relationship but keeps getting betrayed from time to time.
i neva hard a breakdown i rode 9K kms in 7 months mostly on highways 110kmph mostly and when ever i find gravel :-P back end goes loose :-D my chain is rusted and many more things
Hi Pranay, not really . Check out the other vlog ' This triumph tiger goes offroad again ' , he's getting much better, and is presently in Spiti on his tiger
No, Anshuman, this is not a dirt bike. It's way too big and heavy for that. Unpaved roads? Sure. Gravel or muddy roads? Check. Big water puddles? Yup, that's fine. Small creek crossings? Sure, no problem. But serious off-roading? Uh-uh. Wrong bike. And it's WAYYYY too expensive for the rocks, stumps, slimy clay mud, and steep hillsides. In this case, the lack of weight is your friend.
Lalit riding a 500 lbs of motorcycle off-road isn't easy . GrimRider nice!! 😊 K60s are great tyres! Most of the adventure tourers prefer it and really appreciate. I like your video, especially the intro of this video it's interesting I'll wait for your updates 😊👍 safe riding!
Shame he fell off. Tiger 800 is a really nice bike. Have you seen any real tigers in India? I may visit India next year. I am quite fat so a tiger would love to eat me....
This is bot the problem of bike but the riders. Whtever bike it is unless you have the skills to ride on like this road you will fall down. I am not tourer but this kind of road and worst than this road i have ridden.
Wrong tyres and no skill... If you have everything set for right situation and have skills, then you can drive almost everything everywhere! And i don't think this is off-road, it's just no asphalt poor quality road.
Looks like a cool place to ride, I've been noticing a lot of decent motorcycle related content coming from your neck of the woods. Even a couple custom shops doing cool bikes
The best is the third guy with the Honda I suppose, doing everything a adventure bike does.
Ah people stop giving out about the tiger man. He is out there trying. Be happy 😊
Looks like a cool place to ride, I've been noticing a lot of decent motorcycle related content coming from your neck of the woods. Even a couple custom shops doing cool bikes
where can I find that kind of tank bag / sleeve?
hats off for himalayan guys. What a great riding. I think the CBR wala using same soap for bathing as well as for cloth washing. coz he doesn't know which bike use to where ;)
4:29 that 50k beat 150k 😂😂 thug rider...
Do same without water and you feel differents Iv got 800xrt its heavy bike and what kind of tyres?)
WHat was the weight& height of Tiger rider? And Bike. Its good to getting used to bike. looks like definitely takes more time
*Fall at **3:43**,**7:02*

K Sh Hi. Yes you're right but all that comes with experience and this is when he went offroading for the first time
First time offroad, and he did it on a top-heavy Tiger? He did bloody well.
money doesn't buy skills...haahahahaha
hahahhahahhaahahahha
then he should be do with hero puch ...this green goblin is not made for him .. :)
Crct one. . Money cant buy skills
Hahahha...nice one !

I have CBR & day by day I'm getting more n more impressed by this bike's capabilities
GrimRider did that cbr had stock tyres or some other ?
you are really skilled for no roads.. hats off! and your friend on the cbr is also a good rider... i would never imagine going onto such roads with a cbr.. kudos!
nice yaar!! himalayan is giving good fight to tiger
Dtox Biker , it wasn't really a fight :) Rather was a training session for the Tiger's owner. He had never been off-road, so we were really slow
How do you pick the roads.
I have a lot of time to fool maybe... 😀

Hi Harish , this is in Dehradun ( Thano) Uttarakhand. You're welcome
Tires, tyres, tires, tyres.

Hi ground owl ! Well, that's not me on the tiger. Also yea, there are two more videos where this friend of mine rides with K60 Scouts . Impressive tires off-road
Nice, looks like lots of fun.
You bet !
I like tiger sound but I love Himalayan anytime.
The tiger guy should have bought a splendor instead of tiger..
Hi Manash , watch some of the other videos in my channel where I ride along with the same tiger guy, and trust me ! You would be surprised :)
firstly the triumph guy is short for the heavy bike .secondly he seems inexpirienced for a big bike.he should have practiced offroading on a smaller bike like impulse.also cbr seems to be a dark horse.
Depends on the rider not the bike...and one must not be afraid while riding
Prayash Vlogs , sure thing

Hi.... Nice Video. “Note”
I think the Tiger is Great but is having a tough time On these Roads....
Ya to Anshuman bhai is new for Off roads
Ya to Tiger is Not Made perfectly for these roads.
we just Had an Experience with Thunderbird 500
Superb on these Off Roads and No Roads....
Himalayan also seems pretty well....
You Try the Tiger with Off roads and show those those videos.
Thanks yaar
Don't blame the Tiger the driver is embarrassing..
Locals travel here with their passion plus on daily basis
Tanveer Bharti , why plus? The passion pro can also do Leh / ladakh / killar / Spiti and can go anywhere off-road . Lighter too. Passion pro x gives you beak mudguard, headlight grill and knuckle guards too.
Damn ;)
You are a v experienced rider(himalyan).
I don’t see many people ripping their himalyan👌🏻
saquib thanks . There's a vlog by the name 'adventure riding in the Himalayas' the later half is a fast one too and much scarier. Hope I'll like that.
nv use the front brake on trails or dirt u will just sink the front end .... with all the fuel and tank weight, falling is inevitable
Bro should have told me.. Would have joined you.. Dominar hi le jaate.. It went to leh pretty comfortably..
Meanwhile a 100 cc bike driven by a middle-aged man with a woman pillion rider passes smoothly. 😆😆
U look like Hollywood 1st time I thought... This is Americans volags
The Himalayan does the good job....is it the bike or the rider what matters?
Hi Rohan. Rider mostly, though a decent part is weighed by the bike as well. Offroad, One can't be as fast off-road as on a Himalayan than on a pulsar with road tires. So, it's both ! Majorly rider though .
God one! but running it too hot, need a lot of practice, but doing good! thumbs up! :)
Hi NomadicrevZ360, this was one of the initial days on his tiger with stock tires... I do have a couple of more videos where he performs better and also his bike sports K60 scout dual purpose tires . Much better I would say

Yes it does but we definately need something better.

Silicon Rider , Hi. The place is Thano - Suburbs of Dehradun
Vry nice off-road
3.43 tiger man down i repeat tiger man down...shouldnt pick up those speeds if he is new to offroading...
lol !!
Anyway , he's doing really great now. I believe if a person has a free will and desire to off-road, falls are only a learning experience .
@@GrimRider i agree..good on you for making him learn the ropes!
