My dad just purchased a 2005 Corvette C6 Convertible. It is a 3lt with nav, heated seats, z51. I noticed how most 2005 vettes have power top but his still has the manual top. Why is that?
Nick DiPalma Power Tops were never standard on the C6, although they were included with the 3LT package on 2007-13 models, which most C6 Convertibles had. Power Top was a standalone option for 2005-06.
+Shawn Burton The partition that divides the passenger compartment from the trunk area likely just got unbuttoned. You can see the two buttons on the partition if you stand behind the car while the trunk is open. If the partition is not buttoned on both sides, the top will not go up or down.
Is there a manual release should the the power not work and the top is down and you need to get it up ? It happened to me today.

My Vette, the top will not come down due to the attach partition error. How do I unplug or remove the partition, then plug back in? Any advice?
