The video is great! I'm 100% sure it's about the director freaking out because they are naturally awkward. It really highlights Tegan and Sara's personalities. Which is so refreshing. Their popularity comes from them being so relatable. True fans understand this and of course i'm sure a lot of new fans understand this too.

I've been a fan of Tegan and Sara since I was a freshman in high school (I'm now twenty). What I've always loved about them is their ability to change their music and it somehow still inherently be Tegan and Sara. So Jealous is so different than This Business of Art. The Con is unlike Sainthood. If It Was You is nothing like Heartthrob. But they're all unique and awesome and I look forward to each and every album and I hopefully always will. They like to grow and change and branch out, let them.

Let Tegan and Sara make whatever music they're feeling right now. They've certainly earned it, they've put in their time. After making music for so long, I'm sure the last thing they want to do is fall into the trap of trying to remake their early stuff for other people's nostalgia, and then lose their relevance. This isn't giving up artistic integrity. They love and believe in what they're doing right now, it's just a different part of who they are. They've made the crying albums and the brooding albums, and if they want to make a fun dancey album or two, that's not worse. Just more. Just more of the women whose art and effort we respect and admire. I love this track and video. I will also always cry at The Con and lay on the floor and think about my life to Under Feet Like Ours. Embrace their whole artistic vision and don't feel like we've lost anything. If Bowie had stayed Ziggy forever, we'd never have gotten Changes or Modern Love or Let's Dance. I will love anything T&S make as long as they feel good about it and believe in it.

This video has Tegan and Sara's humor written all over it. I love how they still don't take themselves too seriously. This video is much more their personality than say, the "I Was a Fool" video. Whoever directed it was trying too hard and may have put T & S out of their comfort zones. They look relaxed here, just being silly like they do. I bet having one of their friends direct this video helped. I find it funny people are saying this video disappoints them. T & S always have weird videos, but this is my favorite in a long time, them looking sexy as hell and just being silly.

Regardless of their changing music, their commitment to their music craft, the fans and Human Rights has been unwavering throughout. Heartthrob brought me on board because it put them on the map for me. I've delved into all of their music and fell in love and have seen them live twice. On a personal note, they've been there through their music when I was going through a really rough time and it's as if they patched me up and made me whole again. I will be forever grateful and forever a Fan!! Enjoy their music folks because Tegan and Sara aren't just musicians; they are something very special! Go to a Concert and See yourself! ✌🏼️

I was watching music videos on fuse 2 years ago, and this was on light rotation during the summer. I forgot because I really didn't that much attention to the songs but just watched it to fill the room with sound while I worked around the house. 2 years later, I was looking at a music reviewer's favorite bands list and Tegan and Sara were on it, so I decided to take a listen. When I was deciding what to listen to first, I wanted to listen to their newest stuff first, so I chose boyfriend. 20 seconds in, would recognize that vocal riff anywhere.
