It's like the teacher finds the entire class shouting, but only punishes one person sitting on the front bench. Stop making Enzo the scapegoat, If the media really cared about Racism, expected them to do some Investigative Journalism on the rest of the 20 + players who sang their hearts out instead of targeting just one player.
True, however Mario is an ex Chelsea player and the players who have publically criticised this are Chelsea players. So of course the media will jump on enzo and Chelsea, it’s what they do.
@@JamesAttwood-f3m I get that, and its a reality that once immigrated people always get belittled for not looking like the rest in an area, but the media should actually call out the other 20 players, including certain Utd and City players who were on that bus rejoicing.

I’ve heard them saying “the rest on that bus” however, they can’t name out individuals u til A, they come forward and apologise or B, they’re proven to have been singing. Unfortunately the media have to be careful because if they call out an individual that can’t be seen singing they could be held liable.
Because the others didn’t get on their phone on live and record themselves singing the offensive song, is that so hard to understand?

If TalkSport among other media as they claim had the issue about racism they would have not singled out Enzo and would have talked about Argentine's national team and all the players who play in PL. You guys clearly are not in it to address the racism part of it otherwise would have focused on the fact that multiple PL players were in that bus and none of their clubs did anything nor you guys focus on them.
Make an example out of Enzo, ban him for 4 months and send him to Africa for charity work for 1 month!!!

The reason that they have singled out Enzo is because it creates headlines you'd be fool to think these people and media are actually concerned about the racism part of it. Multiple players of English clubs were involved but none of these people call out those players or event their respective clubs for being silent about it.

I’ve heard of club over country, but Mario choosing club over race here😭. Clearly understands what Enzo not being allowed back into the team would mean for Chelsea’s FFP/PSR. The absolute joy in which he sang that song is all you should need to see. Didn’t see half that passion behind 🇦🇷 anthem.

Also, I've not watched it all the way through, I've only seen poor quality clips, so after checking, UTD has already stated there is no evidence to suggest Martinez and Garnacho were involved in the chants. Julian Alvarez sat next to Enzo, but it remains unclear if he was involved in the chants. Villa and Liverpool said Emi and Macalister were not involved. Spurs have said it's unclear if Lo Celso was involved or even in the video. So, really, it's only Enzo who can be "targeted" in England. I don't live in other countries. I couldn't tell you if any other leagues are investigating it I don't see the news on them 🤷🏻

I've been watching podcasts and English channels...I've noticed journalists and hosts are wh t e and only guests who usually are former players are diverse. Fancy that.
A well-known French commentator recently described this current Argentinian squad as "a generation of little sh*theads" LOL. This is how bad France has reacted to those chants, and contrary to what many Argentinians think it has nothing to do with losing the World Cup. I think it was Bixente Lizarazu who once commented that Argentina was the scariest place he's ever had to play - bottle throwing, spitting at the players etc. so Argentina's rough reputation is nothing new.
What's even more dissapointing to me is Messi's silence, being a team captain and having played both in Spain and France. Enzo should be simply told that nationality and ethnicity are not necessarily the same thing and welcome him to the 21st century.

My brothers, there are many things to analyse with this. 1- the chant is against France football fed. as they pick the best players in the world from Africa and you all know about history and why france can do that shamelessly. What Enzo and his peers perhaps are ignorant about or have collective amnesia is that, Africans, and a lot of them from Angola, built their historic city centers, gave them tango and a lot of other cultural contributions. The issue here is that with the exception of two players the French players aren't of African origin they're of African ancestry. Big difference. Many of them are born and raised in France.
