This is my favorite "Mi xao" recipe. I've been watching a couple of others but this recipe is what I've been looking for. The dish look good and the instructions and explanation make sense. Thank you.
The tip about air drying the noodles then pan frying first and in batches is genius! I could never figure out why my noodles were so mushy all the time! Thanks for the awesome tips and videos! Keep them coming! :-)
Yes, minimally boiling and air drying the noodles are essential to getting these noodles just right. I am glad you found the video helpful! Thanks for watching :)
My brother and his wife made this tonight, using ground pork, shrimp, etc. It was super delicious! Thank you for the recipe. I guess the next time it's my turn to make it. :)
Hi, I like that they added ground pork and shrimp to it. It's sounds so good!! Thanks for sharing the results. Now, when it's your turn, let's make them something that will wow them! Let me know if I may make suggestions :)
Thanks... I always add condiments on the side... Can't take away heat and many are weaklings ;) Good foundation recipe. Thanks for the drying tip. We could probably use cabbage instead of bok choy? If I'm lazy, I use prepared coleslaw or kale mix.
vip 1978 Yes, perhaps the noodles were a bit over-cooked. But if your daughter liked it I would say it was a success! Great job to you and thank you for trying the recipe.
I ordered the same thing and it was disgusting!!!! With some funky liquid flooded at the bottom. The lady told me “that is Vietnamese food” what a disgrace, compared to this lovely looking dish
