I have a question that I wonder if anyone could help me with.
Is the requirement to pray the entire Little Office of Our Lady daily or is it the main hours? Also, is the rosary alternative five decades daily or all 15? Thank you.
I've asked this question as well and was told it's the entire Little Office of Our Lady (from Matins to Compline). Veronica Brandt has a channel on RUclips that can help guide you through that very well. I've been doing it myself and can say it's a bit intimidating at first but is now a hallmark of my faith life. If you have trouble finding the time, start small - simply say 1 Ave Maria at 6am, 9am, 12pm, 3pm, 6pm, and 9pm. Use alarms on your phone or watch to remind you. After a month or so, incorporate 1 of the hours that you have the most consistent time for (in my case, it was Compline at 9pm, just before bed). Slowly add hours throughout the day, trying to stick to the times, but know it's ok to lump hours together (i.e. saying Prime, Terce, and Sext one after another) though not ideal. Each of the minor hours (Prime, Terce, Sext, and None) take about 5 mins to say. Matins/Lauds are about 20min total, Vespers is about 10min and Compline is about 5 as well. I can go on about this if you'd like more info or advice - this is becoming a bit long so let me know if you'd like. As for the rosary alternative, as far as I understand the dispensation, it has to be given by a Priest. Typically, this is given the same day you're enrolled. The priest that enrolled me made it 1 decade of the Rosary that has to be said specifically for the Sabatine Privilege (i.e. can't be lumped into your daily rosary). Bear in mind, however, that recitation of the Little Office is the ideal which we should always shoot for, partaking in the dispensation when legitimate necessity demands (tending to duties of life that would make reverent recitation of the hours impractical).

I'm about to have surgery on my stomach and should I try to keep my Brown Scapular on?
I don't think that they will allow it in the operation room. Maybe they'll allow me to wear it on my wrist 🤔
no you insist that it stays on you at all times. tell them they are under no circumstances to take it off.
I had a Catholic surgeon last year. He let me keep it on. He even sang the Regina Caeli with me right before I went under anesthesia.

I’m an old OR nurse, Anesthesia and Surgeon should let you keep it on as long as there is no metal cross attached to it. I’ll add you to my Rosary so you get to keep it on. God Bless you, I will also pray for a successful outcome. 🙏🙏
I just listened to a video by the St. Therese Providence OCD that states that the St. Simon Stock scapular is bogus - how can this be? How can there be completely different perspectives of such importance to all who wear such a sacramental? It is somewhat infuriating as a lay person dependent upon our religious leaders, who are responsible for the salvation of souls.
Do we keep it on when we shower or work out ? I just had mine blessed and am new to this. Thank you in advance.

Where it always even when showering and bathing. Get a second scapular if you must. Another priest on Sensus Fidelium talks about this. Never go without your scapular.

@@CapitanFantasma1776 I get that. I'm just saying that there might be some other issue going on. I have a simple laptop with no additional speakers. I can hear it on 20% volume with no problem. I am not denying your experience, but I just wonder if it could be something else. Technology is too easy to mess up after all, even for the pros.
