Jimmy you are so lucky to have your mom with you. She is great! I lost my mom when I was 20 and I always wished I could have one of these conversations with her now. Over the years there have been many times I wished I could just ask her a question. I had some great stories of me being stupid, too. I imagine it would have played a lot like this. What I also like, which my wife told me today as well, is your humble and honest attitude! I also find it quit pleasing that it is only once a week. Then there is quality in the content, rather then some nonsense and bla bla bla to fill in the minutes. No klickbait and mainstream hyped up stuff. Just you doing your thing and showing us whilst you're at it! And your skills! So pleased to learn and study your videos! Looking forward to the new shop!

I was blessed w meeting your Dad too many years ago.Our dads worked together in the FDNY and were carpenters together.My dad was a man of few words but always told my mom and us kids that the new guy was filled w talent and many tips for all working on the job.I retired from FDNY 26 years ago andhave been at my 2nd life
Working on and off w your Dad for a good portion of that time.I can honestly say we have never had an argument in all that time.drove each other a little crazy but always respected each other.He has taught me as much about carpentry as my Dad and his brother Bobby.Two of the best.But more importantly your Dad taught me about friendship and loyalty.I think the world of your Dad. Please cherish him,and thanks for sharing yours and his stories

Mr. Diresta, I would like more videos sharing more of both of your parents wisdom of raising 3 boys. I have only viewed one video of your dad and now one of your mom and they both seemed very wise and should share more of their wisdom.
