@@Lily_James yay im so glad!! severely underrated fic and i found her characterization of sirius (most of the characters, really) to be the most canon-compliant of all sirius-centric fics i've read. black mask, the sequel, is even better. i love the dialogue so much-the author's an actual scriptwriter irl so that definitely shows in her writing.
MarieKavanagh on ao3 (www.archiveofourown.org/users/MarieKavanagh/pseuds/MarieKavanagh) writes pretty great Black Family fics, her characterizations of the family are based off of izzythehutt's since they share the same thoughts on the dynamic.

It's a bit late but the best is The Black Sheep Dog series by izzythehutt, then there are Blackpool by The Divine Comedian, A keen observer by DeepDownSlytherin from Andromeda's pov, Circinus by MarieKavangh from Walburga's pov, Ozymandias by sirtwentyofhousegoodmen. There are some great ff centered around just Regulus, but idk if you want that. Yes, I might be a bit obsessed lol
