The 800 is one of those cars that made the Indian Automotive industry what it is today. This is the VW Beetle for India. It demands nothing but respect 🙌
I have the last model 800 from the year 2014 .Truly a gem of a car it is ❤️. And has a mechanical driving feel that no other modern car has these days.
The era when cars were just a mode of transport. No fancy features, gadgets and gizmos. Just pure feel. With EV's such aspects are going to be lost soon.
@@computerscience1101I wonder why people get a jeep , 700 or an alcazar and not a Nexon, punch, Kona or even ioniq....EVs are unreliable and people won't give up the man-machine connection in the ICE. The only good EVs in the market are teslas, vinfasts and some Alfa Romeo succesors.
My father bought this car in 2005.He still drives this car to his office.Less maintenance required .Runs smoothly even today. We have a Hyundai Nios also but my father loves to Drive maruti only
We had 800 type l carb it was really good of machine but then we shifted to Zen, its elder sibling and it was completely gem of a car, It was better than today's Alto K10 or spresso. Only thing was ground clearance was bit less although fantastic machine
My dad got this car 2003. He booked 800AC but due to the 8 month waiting period he settled with non AC. He still drives it and is in very very good condition. In the rear i sometimes felt uncomfortable but it got lots of stories to carry and it will continue to.
This is the vehicle which brought the motoring revolution in India. Maruti 800 still looks Sedate and timeless in design with no nonsense factor at the forefront here. The only hatch in its segment which can cross the Speedometer limit.
