  • We invite you to join us for Conversations with Jewish Believers In Jesus hosted by Jeff Morgan. In this episode, Jeff talks with Karol Joseph about the many prophecies that Jesus fulfilled, and why many of his own people didn’t recognize them.
Karol Joseph was raised in a Conservative Jewish home in the suburbs of Boston. After becoming a believer in Yeshua in 1988, she got involved with a local Jews for Jesus branch as a volunteer until joining the staff full-time in 1990. Karol earned her master’s degree in Missiology with an emphasis on Jewish Studies from the Fuller School of World Missions in Pasadena, CA in 1998.

But don't you remember when Jesus said in the Book of Luke that to be a follower of him you had to hate your family and even yourself? That's not love.

@@Artofyehuda Yes, obviously Jesus didn't mean to literally hate your family, as evidenced by the fact that he didn't hate his family, and the Bible tells us in numerous places to love everyone including our enemies. Jesus spoke in parables and metaphors, and the translation from Aramaic is better understood as "to prioritize". Serving God is the highest priority, greater than one's family. It doesn’t mean to literally “hate” your family, but I think you knew that. The final verse in that section (33), says “whoever of you does not forsake all that he has cannot be my disciple”. Again Jesus is communicating the idea of how important serving God is.

@@SavedbyGraceAlone1962 I know Christians like to make up an excuse and say that Jesus didn't really mean that but according to the author of The Gospel of Luke that's what Jesus supposedly said. I need you can't sugarcoat it no matter how much you want. He was even disrespectful to his mother in one of the Gospels.

Jesus is the ultimate Yom Kippur, as his blood sacrifice on the cross is the remission for our sins, keeping faith with God who required blood sacrifice for the forgiveness of our sins. A new covenant that still fulfilled the law, but given by God through his son Yeshua, the Messiah.

Your words: 'Jesus is the ultimate Yom Kippur, as his blood sacrifice on the cross is the remission for our sins'
No, on Yom Kippur, Jews do not offer any ''blood sacrifices''. On Yom Kippur, Jews repent by fasting, by praying and by changing their bad, sinful behaviour. Nobody else can atone for your sins, only you can, which is why Jews do the above on Yom Kippur.

Two books I would recommend that connect the dots from the beginning to the fulfillment of the Law through Jesus the Messiah are Epic of Eden by Sandra Richter and Bearing God’s Name by Carmen Joy Imes. These books richly track God’s covenants with the Jewish people and how Jesus fulfilled that by his blood but also fulfilled the job he gave to Israel to be a Priest to all nations to recover those nations that according to Deuteronomy were handed over to other sons of God at Babel. Highly recommend those books that show the synergy of the Jews and the Gentiles in God’s plan to redeem creation and restore Eden.

When I took humanities my sophmore year, with a Jewish teacher passionate about the humanities, which was really great, by the way, he got around to Judaism and the importance of Jacob's willingness to sacrifice his son to God, based upon God simply asking him. This child was his only child with his wife, so very pressious to him. An angle at the last minute stopped him. According to this professor, this was the magic moment for Judaism - at this moment God made Abraham and his descendents his special people - Abraham's willingness to make that sacrifice is the point at which Jewish people became Jewish people - the creation of the covenant with God. And as he is explaining this to the class it immediately occurred to me that this moment happened, ie. God had asked Abraham to do this, because God himself was planning to do the same sacrifice to his own son, for the sake of all people. Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son seems to have said to God that there were at least one people, or one person, willing to do the same for him - and this set all the wheels in motion for what would follow in the 1st century: the death of Jesus, then later the end of the temple.
It constantly surprised me that Jewish people haven't made the connection between Abraham's willingness to sacrifice his son - the covenant with God - and then Jesus own sacrifice for us.
For Jews, I would say that is the elephant in the room - that and the collapse of the temple.
To me there is a beautiful but tragic symmetry there. It has also changed my understanding of metaphysics. You see, love is the antidote to sufferance. Parents don't complain about making sacrifices for their kids, because they love them. The greater the love, the more sufferance on is able to bear. God's great love for us, is how Jesus is able to bear the sacrifice of his passion. A crucifix, which catholics have everywhere, is kind of a photo-negative of the size of God's love for us - or so I think (I'm neither a metaphysician nor a theologian).
Furthermore, if there is a devil, then what he represents is a lack of love, and therefore the affects of love: its ability to overcome sufferance or even an antidote to sufferance. Perhaps that devil is well aware of pain and corporal pleasure but he is completely unaware of love - and outside of it. So this awareness of pain and pleasure, and ignorance of love, might have caused him to think that God would never fulfill his plan for humanity. No one in an ordinary mind would be willing to go thru the passion (judged, whipped, crucified et al) - except via love and all of its attributes makes it possible. That, I should think, makes the subject of metaphysics and the contemplation of Christ and his sacrifice in the context of metaphysics very, very interesting.
(by the way, I found out thru ancestery.com that I'm 12 to 17% Jewish, but before that I thought I was mostly Irish, turns out I've got none to little of that, according to ancester.com anyway, but, I still like a pint o' Guiness)

I was explaining the same exact thing to a Jewish Orthodox man from Israel. Trying to help him realize that Jesus is technically the substitute sacrifice to Abrahams son, Isaac. And that Jesus was and is the promised sacrifice God gave to Abraham (and apparently to all humanity).
Yet the Orthodox-Jew still couldn’t see the connection and debated against it otherwise, which I thought was very weird and it got me annoyed with him. Lol. Like how do you not see the obvious connection? And yet you call yourself a child of Abraham? I didn’t tell him this, but this is how I felt.

      Have you and @kaneinkansas never read *Romans 10 and 11* and *2 Corinthians 3:13-16* ?!?!?!?!? 😱
The [majority of] Jews still have a *VEIL over their eyes* when they read the Bible!
They are unable to hear from the Holy Spirit because they're *partially blinded by God* until a time… FOR OUR SAKE!!!
So that we, *_former godless, abominable heathens,_* could come to God and be SAVED through Jesus!
      HalleluYah!!!
You must be thankful to the Jewish people, not being judgmental and arrogant towards them - exalting yourselves above them, as if you are somehow smarter, more witty and able to see more!
Salvation came to us FROM THE JEWS!
It was brought and given to them by Adon Yeshua, first and foremost.
      *Romans 1:16-17* ❗️
If you don't understand this very basic simple canon from the New Testament, *_what kind of a born-again Christians are you?!?_* 🫢🤦‍♀️🤔🤔
      What a shame!
That time [for the salvation of the Jews] is finally now, which is why more and more Jews are being awakened and are coming to Jesus Christ as we speak!
      HalleluYah!!!
⚠️ So, *be very careful* in saying STUPID, IGNORANT THINGS like that, because from both of you, posters, I can sense a lot of *self-righteousness and SATANIC PRIDE,* as if you have somehow opened your own spiritual eyes and saved yourselves, and as if you are _somehow smarter than the Jewish people!_ ⚠️
Because you finally awoke and were ABLE TO SEE the glorious light of the gospel of Jesus Christ, and to see the TRUTH, is all *due to God's love, mercy and grace!*
*_None of this is of your own merit or "intelligence._*
No human is smart or sharp or wise enough to start seeing these SPIRITUAL TRUTHS on their own.
It was *_the Holy Spirit of God that opened your spiritual eyes_* and led you to see God's salvational truth❗️
So *give God all the glory;* do not attribute it to yourselves!
If you exalt yourselves above the Jewish people [because you were able to see that prototype/connection and get saved, while they are not], *BEWARE* because God can *_cut you off of the Olive tree (Israel),_* to which you were imputed by the amazing mercy and grace of God!
❗️Not by your own smarts or works.
None of this is of your own!
Please go back and *read Romans 10 and 11 again.*
And REPENT and stop thinking this way, because otherwise you are in a *_very serious danger of losing your salvation!_*
Truly incredible, isn't it, what *lack of knowledge of the word of God* can lead us into?!
      And terribly sad 😞
      Hosea 4:6.
Lord Jesus have mercy on us all… 🙏🥺🙏😢🙏

Eithan Bar would also be a very good choice as he has studied and deepened this topic for a long time, he lives just around the corner. I would be very happy to see him on your show too. I read about the internal problems. But it cannot be that his own people turn their backs on him because of private matters in the partnership. I very much doubt that Jesus would have acted that way. Someone should reach out to him. Forgiveness is part of Jesus' teaching.

They said to the High Priest: The goat has reached the wilderness. And how did they know in the Temple that the goat reached the wilderness? They would build platforms [dirkaot] all along the way and people would stand on them and wave scarves [sudarin] to signal when the goat arrived. And therefore they knew that the goat reached the wilderness. Rabbi Yehuda said: Why did they need these platforms? Didn’t they already have a reliable indicator? From Jerusalem to Beit Ḥiddudo, the edge of the wilderness, where the mitzva of dispatching the goat was performed, was a distance of three mil. Since the nobles of Jerusalem walked a mil to escort the dispatcher and returned a mil, and waited the time equivalent to the time it takes to walk a mil, they knew that the goat reached the wilderness. There was no need for the platforms. Rabbi Yishmael says: Didn’t they have a different indicator? There was a strip of crimson tied to the entrance to the Sanctuary, and when the goat reached the wilderness and the mitzva was fulfilled the strip would turn white, as it is stated: “Though your sins be as scarlet, they will become white as snow” (Isaiah 1:18). www.sefaria.org/Mishnah_Yoma.6.8
A scarlet strip was tied to the door of the Inner Court of the Temple in Jerusalem. When the scapegoat (leazazel) was brought into the wilderness (and thrown over the cliff) - showing that Israel’s sin was carried away from the camp to where it belonged - the wilderness (Satanic domain), the scarlet strip would turn white, demonstrating that God had put away Israel’s sins for that year.
However, about 40 years before the destruction of the Temple (August 70 AD), this phenomenon stopped happening…meaning it stopped around 30 AD, the time of Yeshua:
It was stated: “Forty years before the Temple was destroyed was the Eastern light extinguished, and the shiny strip became red, and the lot of the Name came up in the left hand. They were locking the doors of the Temple hall in the evening and in the morning they found them open. Rabban Johanan ben Zakkai addressed it: ‘Temple hall, why do you frighten us? We know that in the end you will be destroyed, as it was said, Lebanon, open your doors so fire may consume your cedars.’” www.sefaria.org/Jerusalem_Talmud_Yoma.6.3.6
30 AD is also the year that the Daniel 9:24-25 (70 Weeks) prophecy points to : that an Anointed One (Mashiach) would be cut off (killed) - 483 Hebrew years or 476 Modern Years after the command to rebuild the walls, streets and defensive structures of Jerusalem. Artazerxes I of Persia gave the edict to Nehemiah to rebuild the city walls and streets in April 445 BC.
All of this points to Yeshua of Nazareth!

Not only was the Messiah supposed to be a “new Moses”, but he was also to be a new high priest, from the order of Melchizedek. Psalms 110:4 “you are a priest forever in the manner of Melchizedek.” Zech 6:11-13 also says the priest will be at the right hand of the Lord on his throne. It is interesting the Melchizedek appeared to bless Abram right before he received the covenant from God. He also brought bread and wine. 🍞🍷

The atonement that God instituted for Israel didn't just involve animal sacrifice it also involved animal castaways.
Leviticus 16:18 And Aaron shall cast lots upon the two goats; one lot for the LORD, and the other lot for the scape-goat.
Atonement for Israel was a foreshadowing of what was to come. Christ who lived a perfect life, was our substitution. He also faced God's judgement as we should have. Hence he cried out, "my God, my God, why have you forsaken me.
One goat was the offering to God and the other goat was the judgement of God.
The animal wasn't sacrificed on the alter. Exodus 34:10-14 Then you shall bring the bull before the tent of meeting, and Aaron and his sons shall lay their hands on the head of the bull. You shall slaughter the bull before the Lord at the doorway of the tent of meeting. You shall take some of the blood of the bull and put it on the horns of the altar with your finger; and you shall pour out all the blood at the base of the altar. You shall take all the fat that covers the entrails and the lobe of the liver, and the two kidneys and the fat that is on them, and offer them up in smoke on the altar. But the flesh of the bull and its hide and its refuse, you shall burn with fire outside the camp; it is a sin offering.
See the inside and outside of the camp. Jesus was crucified outside of the camp of Israel because he was a sin offering. The Bible uses brass as a symbol of judgement. In Numbers 21 God sends a judgement to the camp of Israel, where many people were bit by snakes. The people cried out to Moses. God said to Moses, " make a brass snake and put it upon a pole; Anyone who looks upon it shall be healed." Jesus describes this incident and applies it to himself.
John 3:14-16 And as Moses lifted up the serpent in the wilderness, even so must the Son of man be lifted up: That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life. For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.
Deuteronomy 21:22-23 “If a man has committed a sin deserving of death, and he is put to death, and you hang him on a tree, “his body shall not remain overnight on the tree, but you shall surely bury him that day, so that you do not defile the land which the LORD your God is giving you as an inheritance; for he who is hanged is accursed of God.
Galatians 3:13 But Christ has rescued us from the curse pronounced by the law. When he was hung on the cross, he took upon himself the curse for our wrongdoing. For it is written in the Scriptures, “Cursed is everyone who is hung on a tree.
I hope this helps answer your question.

Shabat shalom. Thank you for sharing the history of the early Jewish people n the followers of Yeshua. Lately The Holy Spirit helped me understand Shaul/Paul's teachings. What Yeshua said to Nicodemus in John 3: 1-6 about being born again.
When one is born of flesh, we are flesh, we naturally come under Heavenly Father's Law given through Moshe. But Heavenly Father's Kingdom is a Kingdom of spirits. So when one is baptized In The Name of The Father, Son n The Holy Spirit ( They all are Spirits ) we died n are buried ( in water ) n are born again as spirit living in a vessel of flesh. We no more come under the Law. Just like a woman whose husband has died is free from the law.......
So I asked Holy Spirit, how? He answered n said, quote, "Lamp unto your feet, Path of Righteousness". And the understanding I got, was that was the two other NAME for Heavenly Father's commandments. In fact that is its true function. A guide according to Heavenly Father's Will.
I know I am not explaining well. I am just sharing. You just have to ask Holy Spirit to better understand.
Elohei Yisrael sent HIS Own Son as a Lamb to make atonement for sin Yochanan Zechariah/ John the Baptist, a son of a High Priest of the line of Aharon, himself proclaimed it. If u can except it that was Eliyahu ( can u see Heavenly Father's wonderful work? )
I understand the Jewish people have suffered much, but through you the whole earth is Blessed. Avraham's blessing, Genesis 12:3 I will bless them that bless you and curse him that curse you: and in you shall all the families OF THE EARTH be blessed. Jewish Messiah, YESHUA HaMashiach of Nazareth.

    I offer humbly my understanding:
The Hebrew law that says we need to turn back to God to be forgiven/to repent... in a bigger picture of that law given by God, is that His people needed to turn to/return to (repent) to Jesus, the Messiah to be forgiven. There was known by God that there would be a long pause before His people recognized Him as The Messiah.

My daughter is cruelly demon possessed." 23 But he did not say a word in answer to her. So his disciples came and began to urge him: "Send her away, because she keeps crying out after us." 24 He answered: "I was not sent to anyone except to the lost sheep of the house of Israel." 25 But the woman came and did obeisance to him, saying:" "Lord, help me!" 26 In answer he said: "It is not right to take bread of children and throw it to the little dogs." 27 She said: "Yes, Lord, but really the little dogs do eat of the crumbs falling from the table of their masters." 28The Jesus replied to her: "O woman, great is your faith; let it happen to you as you wish." And her daughter was healed from that hour.....I see here two example of Jesus saying that he came for Jews first but most Jewish people didnt accept him, second the Phoenician woman was a Gentile, she had more faith in Jesus than most Jews.

True Christians do not hate the Jewish people!
We fully understand the New Testament, because we have the Holy Spirit of God living in us, unlike the Catholics, and so we understand that salvation and the gospel of salvation came to us through the Jews!
      Romans 1:16-17, 10, 11...
      2 Corinthians 3:13-16...
And please do not mix the fake NON-born-again worldly "Christians" (that are just like the Catholics and the orthodox) with the *true, born-again children of God!*
And do not bear false witness to the REAL Christians!
You will have to answer to God for that.
You're mixing up the carnal+soulish with the spiritual!
Of course being a Catholic, you wouldn't understand much of this…
All of you are soulish because none of you is born again and none of you has the Holy Spirit living in your hearts!
May the Lord Jesus have mercy on your soul.
But if you ask God and start seeking, He will give you to be born again as well!
But first, you must *repent and renounce all the ABOMINABLE IDOL worship and heresy* of the Catholic harlot, and come out of it completely and forever! Destroying, renouncing, and burning all your blasphemous images, statues, literature, and crucifixes❗️🚨
      Without looking back.
Unless you get born again, you will never enter (and even see) the kingdom of God.

Receiving forgiveness from God is that simple and the verse you're referring to from Leviticus is actually talking about why you cannot eat blood is because it's used for the atoning of sins. It's not saying that blood is the only way to receive forgiveness of sins. As it was the sacrifices were done for unintentional sins. You got to reread the Hebrew scriptures before you lead others astray

Someone was a Jew in the old testament because of physical circumcision, and the letter of the law of Moses eg sabbath, stoning to death, clean / unclean foods, not because of being born to a Jewish mother. That's why Romans 2 says 28 A person is not a Jew who is one only outwardly, nor is circumcision merely outward and physical. 29 No, a person is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is circumcision of the heart, by the Spirit, not by the written code. Such a person's praise is not from other people, but from God.
So for the converts you came from the synagogue of satan religion not the OT religion, and no one is Jewish until they believe in Jesus.

Jesus was not of earth but was sent down from Heaven planted as a seed by God's Spirit directly into Miriam's womb. Jesus was God's Heavenly firstborn angelic Son [Colosssians 1:15-16...]. When God's Heavenly firstborn angelic Son was born God the most High created the universe. So everything was created by means of His firstborn angelic Son our Jesus who was in fallen flesh.
Jesus fullfilling every purpose of Hashem Almighty from starting point from the beginning towards the end from what God had laid.
God is the beginning and ending the Aleph and the Tau.
Jesus our PERFECT Messiah of messiahs/King of kings/Fine Shepard of shepherds/High Priest of high priests/Prince of princes/Queens of queens/....
Jesus was that angel that stood fighting with the pillar of cloud God's mighty hand protected and delivered the isrealites out from bondage and slavery in Egypt, and protected them within the wilderness [Exodus 14:19; 23:20-23; 33:2; 32:34;..]
Jesus is the end of all laws fulfilling all unto Himself and having life in Him: the Adamic laws, noahid laws and mosaic laws Jesus did fullfilled and renewing them into PERFECT law and love - the Heavenly Kingdom culture covenant [Matthew 6:10].
JESUS culture covenant is the last stage hope for all for everlasting life here on earth and eternal life in the coming second resurrection during the world's greatest judgment day hosted by God Almighty and beloved Son our King of kings in judging all humanity of their deeds of their lives living on earth before death including the living ones during that hour...either they be cast into sheol or live forever in Adam's Kingdom garden of paradise...
Jesus shed His INNOCENT BLOOD for us against the kingdom law of darkness the prosecutor satan in cancelling our debts our sins committed under satan's law of sin and death that makes us RIGHTEOUS that SETS us FREE from bondage shackled in darkness doomed for eternal death.
And individuals have to repent their own sins unto Hashem Almighty the most High through our saviors NAME the DOOR unto Hashem's Kingdom sanctuary saved and protected under His MERCY and LOVE for us.
Note:Jesus is the DOOR unto Hashem Almighty as written in [John 14:6] the DOOR is covered with WATER and BLOOD RIGHTEOUSNESS between Kingdom of God established in men/ on earth upon the Rock (churches) and God the most High in His Heavenly Kingdom sanctuary. 4:09

It amazes me the lack of consistency applied to scripture from the Old Testament to the New Testament. Let me just say - THE NEW TESTAMENT IS ONLY AS TRUE AS ITS VERIFICATION IN THE OLD! As a Messianic Jewish believer, I am disappointed at the position and lack of appropriately applying God’s Word here. First and foremost, Yeshua taught our Jewish ancestors how to test the prophets, whether they be of God or not - which was by whether they followed the Law. (Deuteronomy 13). Then again, Yeshua reaffirms this in His presentation of the fruits of wolves in sheep’s clothing… They are Lawless (Matthew 7). Any Jew knows anyone who does not practice the Law is not of God… Anything presented contrary to this precept is a stumbling block to Jews.
Examining Matthew 5: 17 “Do not think that I have come to abolish the Law or the Prophets; I have not come to abolish them but to fulfill them. 18 For truly, I say to you, until heaven and earth pass away, not an iota, not a dot, will pass from the Law until all is accomplished. 19 Therefore whoever relaxes one of the least of these commandments and teaches others to do the same will be called least in the kingdom of heaven, but whoever does them and teaches them will be called great in the kingdom of heaven.
With this in mind, whatever your definition of “fulfill” is here - it can not correctly be interpreted to do away with or it is no longer applicable as He initially states the Law is not abolished, done away with, or put to an end. You are reading a false interpretation into this… He goes on to say the Law will stay as a constant until heaven and earth passes away which hasn’t happened yet. The Law, Feasts, and all that is commanded by God will stay in effect throughout the Millinium! (Which afterward heaven and earth passes away)- Don’t believe this??? - Check Zechariah 14 - Feast of Tabernacles….. Jeremiah 38:8 Septuagint Feast of Passover… Maybe you were not taught that your body was the temple of God as a Jew, but I was and even though there exists no Temple built with human hands, the temple of God still exists in us as we are created in His image and for such, all that can be done concerning the Law must be done… Why? Because walking in the Law is walking in sanctification and breaking the Law causes the curse of the Law upon us, which Yeshua’s shed Blood atones for. John advices that breaking the Law is sin. And remember, Moses instructs the Law be set to the side of the Ark of the Covenant to serve as a witness against you… in Hebrews we understand those who set aside the Law of Moses dies (present tense) in the presence of two or three witnesses and greater punishment for those who know Yeshua and transgress against it. We have heard there is one tree to which the Jews who are believers and follow the Law are natural branches (Exodus-Deuteronomy). The Gentiles who are believers and obey His Law are grafted in…. Again - ONE TREE - and Yeshua has already established the tree with the natural branches (Exodus-Deuteronomy)This tree can NOT look like no other…. Since you mentioned it…. The Catholic faith (birthed from an Antisemitic spirit) is manmade and the mother of the Protestant Faith - both not resembling anything like what the early assembly of believers looked like. Both teach to set aside His Law and both align to the described antichrist who changes the Laws and Appointed Times (Daniel) Plainly - The Jewish faith described by God Himself is NOT the sibling to the Protestant faith…. And as far as your timing on Jeremiah 31 - this has not happened yet…. It is still to come, but it affirms the continuance of His Law. But what is at stake for much of the “church” (believers) is described in Matthew and Hebrews…. Are you a doer of the Law? Yes, great in the Kingdom of God. - Relax, less in the Kingdom of God. - Set the Law aside - (Hebrews) No Kingdom for you! These are Yeshua’s Words not mine. The truth of the matter if you are a true Mosaic Law abiding Jew, keep doing what you are doing and turn/believe/repent to Yeshua and receive the Lamb of God’s atonement. - and continue to read and learn His Word. - To obey God is to love Him. Faith without works is dead. If you believe in Yeshua, do all He has commanded and know HE IS GOD - ONE GOD!
    Isaiah 43:10
“You are my witnesses,” declares the Lord,
“and my servant whom I have chosen,
that you may know and believe me
and understand that I am he.
Before me no god was formed,
nor shall there be any after me.
    11 I, I am the Lord,
and besides me there is no savior

John 13:34 So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other.
Romans 13:8 Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law.
Romans 14:15 One man esteems one day as better than another, while another man esteems all days alike. Let every one be fully convinced in his own mind.
I don't argue with what you stated, I think your correct the Lord will reinstitute much of former Jewish holidays back into practice for they point to Christ in the millennial kingdom.
But we're not saved by the law, we're save to do good works. All that you stated could be a stumbling block for many now. Your free to do as you wish. But remember it natural for people to think their good will outweigh their bad. Galatians 3:10 For all who rely on the works of the law are under a curse, as it is written: “Cursed is everyone who does not continue to do everything written in the Book of the Law. That's why God did away with the law for justification because we can't keep it. Christ could and did keep the law 100%. The only law you and I are under now. Is to love God and love our neighbors. Getting circumcised, dietary laws, religious observances etc. Aren't applicable for justification, only Christ is.
Jeramiah 31:31-33 Behold, the days are coming, says the LORD, when I will make a new covenant with the house of Israel and the house of Judah, not like the covenant which I made with their fathers when I took them by the hand to bring them out of the land of Egypt, my covenant which they broke, though I was their husband, says the LORD. But this is the covenant which I will make with the house of Israel after those days, says the LORD: I will put my law within them, and I will write it upon their hearts; and I will be their God, and they shall be my people.
Ezekiel 36:26 A new heart I will give you, and a new spirit I will put within you; and I will take out of your flesh the heart of stone and give you a heart of flesh.
Don't put people under the law that they can't keep. The law is a mirror so that we can see who we truly are. The law is a lamp unto our feet to give us instruction in righteousness. All this the law can do but it can't save us.
Colosians2:14 having wiped out the handwriting of requirements that was against us, which was contrary to us. And He has taken it out of the way, having nailed it to the cross.
Romans 3;20 Therefore by the deeds of the law no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law is the knowledge of sin.
I disagree with you this topic was brought up before read the entire chapter of Acts 15.5-11 But some of the sect of the Pharisees who believed rose up, saying, “It is necessary to circumcise them, and to command them to keep the law of Moses.” Now the apostles and elders came together to consider this matter. And when there had been much dispute, Peter rose up and said to them: “Men and brethren, you know that a good while ago God chose among us, that by my mouth the Gentiles should hear the word of the gospel and believe. “So God, who knows the heart, acknowledged them by giving them the Holy Spirit, just as He did to us, “and made no distinction between us and them, purifying their hearts by faith. “Now therefore, why do you test God by putting a yoke on the neck of the disciples which neither our fathers nor we were able to bear? “But we believe that through the grace of the Lord Jesus Christ we shall be saved in the same manner as they.”

Broken heart and contrite spirit can replace practicing the Law. Even more: practicing the Law will not be accepted by God if this does not lead to broken heart and contrite spirit. To be sure of this just remember the right robber. He didn't even have the opportunity to practice the Law while hanging on the cross. But he had broken heart and contrite spirit and Jesus had mercy on him and saved his soul. “The LORD is nigh unto them that are of a broken heart; and saveth such as be of a contrite spirit.”(KJV Psalms 34:18). Also you can remember the Pharisees who were practicing the Law but without broken heart and contrite spirit and what Jesus had said about them: "For I say unto you, That except your righteousness shall exceed the righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter into the kingdom of heaven."(KJV Matthew 5:20). According to this righteousness of the right robber who wasn't abiding the Law was greater than righteousness of the scribes and Pharisees.
Don't get me wrong I'm not saying that we should be robbers or sabbath breakers. I just want to say that sometimes practicing the Law can lead us to death if by doing this we think that we are saving our souls. Because no matter what seemingly good deeds we do, if it leads us to think that we have become righteous, then this means that we are filled with pride and are heading straight to hell. Only Jesus can have mercy on us and save our souls and for this we should have broken heart and contrite spirit.
