You CAN find the Dune Buggy in GTA 5, including the stripped down version. They're just called the Dune now. You can often find them somewhere on Blaine County or you have a higher chance to find the stripped down version on the road past the Lodge with the lumberjack statue in Paleto Bay.
Gang Rancher used by the Sharks is pretty cool to, he did not cover GTA VCS but it is worth a look, I think it is the second best Rancher after the FBI Rancher which is so sinister looking I just wished it had a radio.

If they did that then it would complicate collecting them. You’d probably spend hours looking for a 1985 Canis Seminole instead of a few minutes looking for a Seminole Classic. Not to mention if a certain vehicle has 30 or so model years then they’d have to code 30 vehicles instead of 2 or 3.

GTA V Huntley S. One of my fave vehicles in the game! The thing actually has AWD, for starters..lol. But she drifts fabulously! Busts though police road blocks really well. 4 doors for use with more than one psngr. Dumb Rock* won't let us use the back seats in 2 doors. Gresley is great, but spins out too ez, which is baloney..the current gen Dodge Durango has a Merccedes chassis, after all. But yeah, Huntley S Boosted with a trainer, it's absolutely a blast to drive!
Just a Quick Reference GTA V’s BF Injection is Called just Injection cause it’s Manufacture is BF (Bürgerfahrzeug) and BF BF Injection wouldn’t go so well

And then they renamed it to BF Bifta in GTA V, while using Injection name for what is basically a lifted VW Beetle (or a rat-roded Baja Bug... which is still a lifted VW Beetle)

GTA 4 and 5 cars are very similar. never played the 4 so I was thinking that they would've been different.
They all handle VERY differently tho

It's called Crusader, it's a completely different car stat and model wise
The original BF Injection design ALMOST completely changed after gta San andreas
Though GTA V has the BF Bifta which is basically the old Injection.
