I was on the fence about what model to get but I ended up with the LM2100SP, my reasons were that it came with a 7.5AH battery and I have a steep driveway I can drive it up to do my front yard. You can drive it without the blades running and btw I've become a big fan over the last few weeks keep the videos coming.
That’s helped me because I was wondering if you could just push a self-propelled mower when it got to tight spaces in the garden. Watching you just push it in your back garden I see the answer is yes you can just push them. Very helpful to me. Cheers.
Yes it is worth the $100 because the LM2100SP comes with a 1000W 5.9 ft-lb torque brush motor and the LM2100 comes with a 700W 5.3 ft-lb torque brush motor.
I have the base model and so does my brother. He said the push mower was so light, getting the self propelled model didn't make sense for the extra cost. After 5 years of use, it's still going strong. However, I'm closer to sixty now and the self propelled version makes a big difference. I'm upgrading to the self propelled and saving some wear and tear on my hips and knees.
Yes totally agree I love the non sp it’s a workhorse but I also have the SP and it’s def a nice unit for say the back back yard where it’s just 1032 sqft of rectangle.. nice to just self propel my way across 😂😂😂 I honestly recommend both equally but the non SP is considerably lighter for sure! 😊🔥🙏🏾🤙🏾
Great video! Very informative and with an engaging and fun tone and personality. If I could give you one piece of input I would just say the music level is very high at the beginning. (I've mixed audio for a lot of short films, -9db to -12db is dialog broadcast standard for dialog, if intro music is about that level it would probably be great). Great video though. I look forward to watching more as a newby homeowner.
Thank you for that this is an old video! Check out my new ones please I’m interested to hear what you think about my latest audio I’ve been working hard on it 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🔥
@YardBrah I will for sure check it out. I have a lot to learn about lawn care. This older vid was very helpful, though in my lawnmower purchase decision process
Thanks, entertaining and glad it turned out that way! Can you figure out how to wire those batteries into a Giant E-bike for me? They have a system where you can piggy-back their battery onto it, but the piggyback battery costs more than your mower did.
😂😂😂😂 I was just talking to another subscriber about an ego ebike 😂 that would be a blast! There are a couple ego ebike tutorials on RUclips And one that’s in the UK that’s pretty funny 😂😊🙌🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾
Yes ego has brushless on their 20” steel deck mowers! If I wasn’t so into reel mowing I would have bought one full price already but am looking at other reel mowers to add to the collection 😂😊🤙🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
Oh self propelled def effects the battery drains a bit faster when I was cutting friends lawns for fun thick grass maybe lasted 25 min on self propelled version last year… non self propelled lasts forever about 35-40 min consistent run time on decent height grass 😊🙏🏾🤙🏾 oh yeah on 7.5ah batteries 🤙🏾
Hi there can you tell me is there a big difference in the weight of these two machines I’m looking at the push type in the UK it’s a 16” but when I went to the EGO dealership they only had the SP model on display which was so heavy compared to what I normally use a Bosch corded but I have been looking at a cordless model with a bit of power I don’t have a massive yard but it’s long back and front front is on a bit of a slope and total area is about a little smaller than a tennis court
The non self propelled LM2100 is way lighter my friend! also i have the 7.5ah battery in mine not 5ah... 2.5ah seems like it won't last very long def look into an lm2100 or lm2101 😊🤙🏾
for sure lol it will take a toll on you after a while! i've been using it for the past couple weeks and not once have I even used the self propelled action. Thanks for watching!
You know I’m a fan of the non self propelled I just gave my self propelled away… it was a tad bit heavier… if I had a bigger lawn I’m sure the self propelled would have been great 😊🤙🏾👊🏾🙏🏾
If the push mower is light weight enough, why bother with another feature that could become a future maintenance issue? Thanks for the review.✌️
Great review man. Answered some questions I’ve been wondering between the 2 versions.
That is awesome glad my review could help!!! Thank you for watching!!!

Thank you so much! My lm2100 non sp came with a 7.5ah… maybe they are down grading the batteries for the newer ones 🤔 thanks for the support! 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾

Right on! Thanks for tuning in!!! 😊🤙🏾🔥🙏🏾
Thanks great video this was the first video that I noticed that compared the pros and cons of self-propelled versus regular.
Well thank you for tuning in! 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🙌🏾
It's worth if the weather is too warm for lawn moving or if you are old enough to not wanna push around a machine
Yes it is worth the $100 because the LM2100SP comes with a 1000W 5.9 ft-lb torque brush motor and the LM2100 comes with a 700W 5.3 ft-lb torque brush motor.
You know I can see a small difference in the cut it's almost a little sharper with the 2100sp! Thanks for the info and thanks for watching!
Didnt recognize that, thank u
The new LM2156S POWER+ 21" Select Cut XP Self Propelled has a 1200W brushless motor with 8.3 ft. lbs. and comes with a 10.0 Ah battery.
And the self propelled you get a 7.5 battery and the non you get 5.0 battery
Oh yes... mostly when the bag is full the self-propelled clutch is usefull. You don't have to use it all the time but as needed 😅😊
Thank you. Just what I needed to make a decision.
Thank you for tuning in! Glad I could be of some assistance! 🤙🏾🙏🏾

I got the regular. Suits me fine
Yes can’t beat the regular it’s my workhorse and hasn’t failed me ever! 😊🤙🏾🙏🏾🔥

What to choose for 6000 sq ft mowing area for a 35 yr old ?
A zero turn 😂😂😂 def get the self propelled unless you enjoy the cardio 😊🔥🤙🏾🙏🏾
@@YardBrah thank you for replying 😊🙏🏼
Nice 86 back there 😎
Yeah he won’t sell it to me lol I’m a sucker for hatch 86s his is a coupe 😊🙌🏾🤙🏾🙏🏾
what about brushless v brushed motors for these mowers? i think these are brushed motors and i hear brushless is the way to go?
Yes ego has brushless on their 20” steel deck mowers! If I wasn’t so into reel mowing I would have bought one full price already but am looking at other reel mowers to add to the collection 😂😊🤙🏾🙌🏾🙏🏾
You forget to mention what actually matters... how much less does the battery last?
Oh self propelled def effects the battery drains a bit faster when I was cutting friends lawns for fun thick grass maybe lasted 25 min on self propelled version last year… non self propelled lasts forever about 35-40 min consistent run time on decent height grass 😊🙏🏾🤙🏾 oh yeah on 7.5ah batteries 🤙🏾

@@YardBrah The push model is 54lbs. with no battery. The self propelled is 60lbs. There's a 10% weight difference.
Can someone confirm if the LM2101 model has a brushless motor or not?
It's brushless :)
Obviously everything is the same but self propelled
Yup but you know you gotta glorify everything for RUclips 😂 if I made a 5 second video saying it’s just the same it would have 10 views 😂😂😂😂😂😊🙏🏾🤙🏾🙌🏾
I feel like some of these self propelled feel hard to maneuver.
for sure lol it will take a toll on you after a while! i've been using it for the past couple weeks and not once have I even used the self propelled action. Thanks for watching!
@@YardBrah decision made. Thank 😊 u.
Self-propelled are better.. I own both
You know I’m a fan of the non self propelled I just gave my self propelled away… it was a tad bit heavier… if I had a bigger lawn I’m sure the self propelled would have been great 😊🤙🏾👊🏾🙏🏾
