Born in Spokane, WA, Dirt Miller now hails from Los Angeles. This song is autobiographical, written after his 1st stint in a rehab. The song was meant to be inspirational; a source of hope. He has been sober for decades now, but many of his songs are about his experiences as a drug user and dealer, living a street crime lifestyle. A lifelong musical visionary, he doesn't like interacting w fans. He is a one-man production who uses computers and sequencers to make his sound big, and layered. 107F is just spring weather! We surpass 120F in the summer!
120??!! Whoah. I still don't understand why Dirt is not more well known. He has obviously put a lot of time and money into his videos and music but it seems maybe he does it for himself and whoever wants to tag along - not to get fame. Do you think that's offbase?
@SueSueandthewolfman I think he def created good music and showcase videos...likely to showcase and shop his work...but he didn't have a Ren, (or an Amy!) Out there...*promoting* him, and getting him heatd/seen. The Day after Ren shouted him out he sent a ty note, which Ren posted... saying overnight he had 4k new subs on his channel and stating that he was just about to give up on music and go live in the woods... the music business is brutal...and Ren knows that, yet found a way to succeed...makes me happy that he offered a hand UP to Dirt, who is very deserving! The guy's phone must be blowing up w offers for interviews and performance spots! Which is fantastic!
Really enjoying your channel guys and so chuffed you're diving into Dirt's music! It's been literally years since I've heard anything as brilliant as Dirt Miller. From the UK...so you've at least one fan from this side of the pond! Keep up the great reactions guys!
New sub. Glad to see you're digging into his catalog. Dirt Miller is amazing - the guitar, lyrics, and visuals are all 🔥. Recommend D1 - beautifully heartbreaking.
That's a new one to me. I'd never heard of this artist before, so, I'm totally unfamiliar with his music. This sounded good though. Word is that for his music he draws from Blues, Folk, and Rock & Roll. From what I've been able to find out, I know that Miller apparently went out to the abandoned mining town of Rhyolite, a little ghost town in Death Valley, Nevada, to shoot the video for Roll The Dice. Well, that was fun, hearing you sing together like that! You guys should start a 3rd channel called ''Name That Tune!'' 😄
YeeHaw!! I'm loving this. His style is a mix of genres, refreshing. Your channel is getting better and better. The comment section is showing new faces with more fine people to interact with. I am a talker. More please, Good holiday weekend, and as always thank you two.🤠
We have a big doctors appointment tomorrow two hours from here, It is with a neurosurgeon because Jeff has a compression in his upper spine. Surgery will probably be soon, but praying it is one with an easy recovery! How's your job and your shoulder?
@@SueSueandthewolfman will definitely keep all in prayers. I hope all goes well. Keep all positive thoughts and prayers and words. Our pastor talks about the power of words. Of course positivity goes a long way too. Me and my shoulder are at week 5, I don’t believe I shouldn’t be doing much work yet. Will be working shorter days, eventually the pain starts to grow. Thank you for asking. Definitely will keep you all in 🙏🙏🙏
Fantastic version of the hillbillies theme! No, I DO believe we will get together someday. It will happen eventually. And I hope you get out to Cali soon too.
@@SueSueandthewolfman oh yeah, it was on all the time, along with Gilligan’s Island, The Brady Bunch, and others. The older episodes were in b&w, but went color not long after. In fact, I, not-too-long ago, came across the pilot for the show on RUclips. I had never seen it.

Did you watch the Beverly Hillbillies when you were a kid? The old black and white reruns...
