The preload adjustment on right side, only, and doesn't seem to do much. May get some # 90 +/- springs from Racetec, Will post dimensions. Will check rear, later today.

People have a bunch of different opinions about break-in, manual says keep it below 4k rpm for the first 150 miles and then 6k for the next 100...I can tell you it's impossible to ride this bike below 4k and I've just been mostly moderate but have rev'd it many times too lol
Dude it’s sick I’m not taking anything from it..I understand that a tune will unlock the rest of the power.. what I don’t understand is how my R6 revs to 16,500..I would think a smaller displacement inline 4 could rev higher than a 600 inline 4? Usually smaller displacement equates to higher revs..
I test road one last month in Rhode Island. It sold the same day. Usually west coast gets the bikes first so I’m sure there were some available in California pretty early. Such a sweet machine… but very expensive. Congrats on the bike

Hell , there were some in San Diego last week. I got one delivered from Perris , Ca. for a better price than San Diego. Dealers had been going crazy jacking up the price, with San Diego County ranging from $ 13k to $ 14 k OTD. Interesting note; The front seat from 2018 Ninja 400 twin will fit. Good news since I had an extra thick seat from one.
5'11" you should have bought the 2023 Ninja ZX6R 636cc instead of that 399 inline 4.. I'm very happy with my Ninja 400 but if I upgrade it will definately be that 636 👍🏽🏍️

Not at all, I like the smaller tire. I think it adds to the nimbleness and helps it feel better than the ZX6R. I race my Ninja 400 on Pirelli 110 front and 140 rear, small tires work great!

Correct, quits making lower after 11,500 rpm. It’s a pretty niche bike tho so I figure most owners would be getting it tuned as they put exhaust and stuff on anyway.
I was going to get one but finding out the HP is one like 18hp more than the 400ex. why would kawi make it so underrated against the asain version which has like 80hp. Thats the one we should be getting, otherwise to me theres no point to getting the zx4rr with the price point vs the HP its lost coming over seas. Kawi fucked us hard on this one IMO!.. Congrats on the RR tho! cant wait to see how it does overall
@@850Ninjaguythese are ride by wire bikes, it is the same exact bike as overseas but just programmed to reduce power once you get to 11.5k rpm. So even if you’re holding the throttle wide open, the electronics are closing the actual butterfly’s. Just a flash alone will take the bike to 78hp, it’s already confirmed.
For me it is right in the middle of my insurance costs on my MT07 and Z900. Makes sense to me based on the higher value compared to the MT07 and low CC compared to the Z900.
I think so, no reason a beginner couldn’t handle it. Only reason I’d deter a beginner is that it’s better to buy a cheaper bike in case you drop it (very likely for beginners).
It has slower acceleration from a dig than the regular 400 Ninja. 😂 You have to be straight up braindead to spend that much on a 400. But hey, guess a thumbs up on a video makes it a worthwhile buy. Then again for slightly more a ZX6R can be had which will take a King Kong sized dump all over this bike.

I decided to make some videos because so many people were asking me to and it is a unique bike I’d like to share with others. Even if zx6r is a better value bike for most people, that doesn’t mean this bike isn’t what many others dream of.

Those of us over 40 who grew up hearing the wale of 90's sport bikes and F1 cars as a kid understand the draw of the inline 4. All of the V twins riding around have no character.

Correct, I plan to talk about this as soon as I can make some time. Power drops after 11,500 to meet emission and sound regulations.

No rev limit, the power delivery is detuned after 11,500 rpm. A flash will fix it, it’s gonna be a must for these bikes.

A simple tune will fix it. Most people do this to their bikes anyways once they install exhaust and other parts.

How was insurance compared to other bikes?
