@@scarletb.moore2022At the start the bass player is in completely the wrong key and you can see him look down at his fingers when he realises. When the guitarist and bass player join in on the floor toms they don't look comfortable at all, all the time looking to the drummer on the right for cues. The 2 drummers dont have the impact or sound that they have on the original records, although maybe it sounded better front of house through the PA than on a phone filming it. They are also not locked together in the way, say, Phil Collins and Chester Thomson used to be. You will be more in the know than I but is this his regular touring band, or a bunch of session players he got together for this tour? I did remember buying the Prince Charming album when it came out originally though, quite a natty double fold album sleeve.
@@SausageFingers73 They have all been with Adam for years & years and have done countless tours with him, except for the male drummer who was a stand in for his regular second drummer for this tour only. I don’t see or hear anything different than usual. I don’t hear any wrong keys or notice any discomfort 🤷🏻♀️ To me, it all ran like clockwork. They’re a very tight band so it stands to reason they take cues from each other so all runs smoothly. With regards the drums, they never have the same effect via video and, in my experience, are watered down by a huge outdoor venue like a festival but in person in a smaller, inside venue, they thump through your veins. Gotta be experienced I guess! Check out some other videos from this tour as some of them have picked up the power of the drums 😊
