- Hey y’all and welcome back to another dumpster diving adventure! We had a lot of fun diving at some apartments near the TWU campus that we have never tried before - we got to rescue some items from the landfill and sight-see a little around town. Not a bad morning at ALL!

Just a hint. We were in Target today. We asked a worker if some hair and beauty supplies were still for sale. The worker said the clearance items were being taken off the shelf. Does this mean they will go into the dumpster? Maybe these hair care and hygiene items are a "series" and items will be in dumpsters near you?

Omg...Alex "it says 45 on it so I'm wondering if it's to play 45s". I forget not everyone knows about old records...the 45s, LPs, the 78s even. How far we've come in time in music playing. Some will never know the "sound" of an album with the background noise on the turntable, with the arm to hold the stack of records in place so they wouldn't wobble. I remember putting 10-12 different 45s on my record player with the plastic thing that said 45 and just sitting back & listening for what seemed like forever. Love watching you two and the things you find!

You’re right, you put it on the little pole in the middle of the turn table for the 45s to rest on. Love you guys.
I would of taken that. Some folks could maybe repair back to new… me. I would of done something more creative. Steam punk style? 🤷♀️

You could hear the question mark at the end of it.
And remember the little yellow disc's that went in the center of the 45s?
Kept them on the spindle because the hole in the center was bigger than LPs.
I'd bet those would bring some $$ today too!
Ohh that typewriter though. Perfect for vintage decorating! Someone will buy that for sure. Love it.

That free couch is easy to fix. You turn it upside down, then the springs can be replaced, or you can stuff the couch with pillow filling. Have a great day my friends, and stay safe ❤️🙂⚘️.

On the Stereo, that 45 attachment goes on the spindle in center of turntable to make Small 45’s Single fits on the turntable . Without on small spindle the large 78 albums fit. Great picking y’all , always enjoy your videos.

Your stream of comments while you dive is hilarious. I was really digging that someone loved sitting in that one place on the green couch. And the cat who was causing trouble all over town. What I thought was quite profound was, "I've never seen the bottom of a typewriter before." What a hoot!

That’s funny when you guys laugh for being loud at 6am. I remember when I used to live in an apartment and out the window there was the trash and a guy would always come and start moving stuff from very early in the morning. 😂😂😅 He would jump inside the dumpster and look for about one hour.

That 45 adapter for the records it sldes down the post for the big records to hold the 45s in place.
It's funny to hear younger people wonder what something like that is. My daughter used to call the 33 1/3 records, big CDs. 😅

@26:14 Those packing cardboard egg cartons are great for new seedlings. They absorb water and keep the plant hydrated. When u see them, take them, if u plant from seeds. It seems u have enough room for watermelons.
you can use Vim to scrub out that cooler. Its amazing and a very non harsh product. And you will be surprised how it cleans it up. hugs

We had one of those stereo cabinets back in the day. You’re right about the attachment, Alex, and used for playing 45s. I loved the part where you panned over the artwork on the buildings while the train was blowing its horn. Always picturesque videos 🤩🤩🤩
You guys should check dollar general dumpsters. They penny their Valentine’s Day stuff today so they will be putting out stuff in the trash.

The typewriter keys can be used in art projects. Sofas constructed of klin dried hardwood frames and 8 way hand tied springs are top notch. These are worth having redone.

The little organizer plastic with two drawers it's for jewelry or office supply and the little bible it's a complete New Testament Bible they give those out at church or other organizations well good job guys see you next time God bless you
