Finally, some Westerner debunked the huge myth for which many Hindus and other Dharmic tradition followers are looked down upon, the Hakenkreuz. Even in our own country we are taught that the sign is called "Swastika" even though it isn't, many people (like Indians) in foreign countries even have faced severe backlash from foreign government and universities for saying that "Swastika is not hakenkreuz". I am happy as an Indian that finally someone from the West understands the difference between our religious symbol and some fanatic dude's banner symbol, and is brave enough to point it out. Wishing for Google to change their misleading translation, asap
The swastika was probably an indoeuropean symbol which was transferred to both buddhism and pre Christian pagan religions in europe, in fact it has been found in bronze age artifacts in denmark and pretty much all over europe

The cresent and star are actually a solar eclipse. This symbol is often seen in the Turkic pyramids built by the Turks before Islam. This is a symbol that the Turks brought to Islam when they converted to Islam.
Owhh seriously? 😮 I thought it was related to various versions like, the dream of Sultan Osman I, Goddess Diana, or even the Battle of Kosovo.. 🤔 perhaps I'll search it up later 😁 Btw, thx for watching the video mate, really appreciate it 👍
@EpistemicLocus Actually, Some says the moon means the Hijri Calendar, moon Calendar, and 5 pointed star means Five Obligatory Prayers, Five Pillars of Faith.
The Crescent moon and star was actually the original symbol of Constantinople, when the Ottomans conquered Constantinople they thought it looked cool so they adopted it. Since the Ottomans where the last and longest lasting caliphate, it became some sort of symbol of victory and a political symbol for Islam I think that is why we still use it even above the domes of mosques to this day
its so hilarious that the germans used a swastika to say ''oh yes good luck hmm yes'' when their entire system was literally garbage and the austrian guy literally stole it practically

3:08 The crescent on the ottoman empire’s emblem isn’t about islam. It comes from an ancient turkish legend, saying that after a huge battle the blood of soldiers were all over the ground and the moon reflected on to the blood. It’s just a legend however it’s still not about Islam.
