I would recommend to never ever start with scraping (even with plastic tools) on the most visible spots like "top mid" - if any unremoveable scratches happen, those will jump into the eyes with easy forever - so better start from the bottom... Except of that, thanks for sharing!

I'm not sure which chip you shorten. I just know that when you add this connection, the clock turns itself on automatically when you plugged in the power.
Nice, exactly what i'm looking for. I've done it with a Hairdryer and a Plektrum to disamble and it works like a charm. 👍
