Well considering RE: Creators implements Every genre of Anime like..EVER it makes sense it fits in essentially any Anime genre ever including a magical girl one don't ya think? Especially considering a magical girl played a prominent role in the story later on.
this comment is apparently 2yrs, but wth I'll respond to it.. If Nanoha had been in Re:Creators instead Mamika, given how much stronger she is the chances of her losing to Altair would've been significantly less, if anything the two would've been evenly matched it would've come down to skill and willpower whom would've come out on top to be completely honest. The only reason Altair beat Mamika was one she caught her off guard, and two she cheap shotted her in the back while distracting her with insults. Nanoha isn't that gullible nor merciful. She's a lot more forth coming to be honest. Plus she has regenerative powers albeit slow, so even if she had been stabbed she could've survived a few swords as long as she was only stabbed and not dismembered. Meaning she'd been able to not only tank more Altair's strikes than Mamika she would've adapted against them as it was shown throughout the show her powers seemed to adapt & grow with each battle even if it was slightly. Well there's your answer that you apparently waited 2yrs for happy new year lolz.
