Totally enjoyed this reaction. A treat to share this along with you. Your enthusiasm was infectious. Eddie will go down in history as one of the most influential electric guitarists ever. Van Halen honed their craft performing hundreds of concerts almost anywhere and everywhere and Eddie wore that ever so charming smile to every one of them. They had the knack to write songs that just stuck in your head with great hooks, great playing and underrated but super harmonies which were uniquely theirs alone. There are far worse rabbit holes to journey down than VanHalen.

True comment from a producer of Van Halen: "one day, after Eddie had been in the studio for 7 hours recording tracks, an assistant came up to him & told him "a hit & run driver smashed your car out on the street" this was the same day he burned himself on his stove at home & had to wear a bandage for a week, and he found out that one of his financial advisors was stealing from him only the day before. Eddie STILL had a smile on his face. He smiled whenever he had his guitar in his arms, a cold brew or hot coffee nearby; no matter what else had occurred. He was a happy man who knew he was blessed. He never spoke a negative nor hateful comment about anybody, not even David Lee Roth after Van Halen & Roth split up. Eddie was a talent the likes of which had never existed, and we will never see in our lifetimes again. God Bless EVH..........he's up there rocking with the best of the best...............playing LEAD...........and SMILING non-stop! Someday, I hope to pass by him, shake his hand, and tell him Thank You for the memories! I bet he will be smiling!

When it comes to rock music, the ENTIRE decade of the 1980s was predicated on Van Halen's legendary debut album in 1978. The sound, the look, the energy. VAN HALEN WERE THE KINGS! For a great Mashup video check out Mean Machine (VH/Jackson 5), it's a great time. Cheers.
Also check out some of David's solo work. A cover of California Girls, just a Gigalo, Yankee Rose.......long list lol
The thing I've always liked about these guys is, while all the other bands of the day tried to look tough, these guys are always smiling and having fun. I loved the 80s!!!
Lead vocals- David Lee Roth
Bassist- Mark Anthony
Drums- Alex Van Halen
Guitar- Eddie Van Halen.
I was fortunate to see them live in concert many times. It was always a great show. Even Van Hagar was great it it's own right.
Love this reaction! I really had fun watching you enjoy Van Halen, I remember being just as giddy when I first heard their music. Diamond Dave is easily one of the best front men of all time. ❤
Congratulations, Tasha! Now you're another Rock Chick! 🤘
Just like all the girls in the 80’s!!! Falling in love with these guys while the guys listening were excited about the music and the performance.
I saw Roth attempt those kicks over and over wasted on Jack. Hilarious. That’s rock n roll. Semper Fi
A real feel good type of song
he was karate expert as far as I know
This is easily one of Van Halen’s best songs in my opinion.
Rubbish~
I saw Van Halen in 1976 when i was a kid , in backyards and later on the Sunset strip...I saw Every tour starting in 1978
I learned to play guitar and i had a successful career in the music industry because of my immediate and absolute obsession with the music of Van Halen. Edward Van Halen was my idol as a teenager. i am thrilled to see your eyes light up and you laugh and smile as the Magic of Van Halen hits you! Van Halen is one of the Greatest Rock Bands in history.
Your next video ,in my opinion, is their BEST video. Van Halen at their peak ,
" Van Halen Unchained Live Oakland 1981" Cheers !!
Great reaction!! Wait til you watch Eddie Van Halen's Solo 'Eruption' Live. But your gonna dig a lot of their stuff ✌🏽
Eddie Van Halen (who played the solo on Michael Jackson's Beat It) was one of the greatest guitarists of all time, but for some reason he decided to feature his keyboard playing on this one.
Awesome channel. I grew up in the 80s. Keep it up and rock on.
You must watch Van Halen,"Live Without a Net". It is Eddie playing all of his famous guitar solos. AMAZING!! You will be impressed. This showcases how much of genius Eddie was and how he was able to make the guitar seem like different instruments. Please please please, watch this video. Love your reactions!!
